- This is the Cincinnati Watch Company Desk Diver. These "dive watches" were made from recovered, new-old-stock, 1970s Swiss made watch cases. Assembled in Cincinnati with a new dial, hands, crystal, and a new Swiss Sellita SW210 movement. This watch is rated for 0m of water resistance, but has strikingly authentic vintage charm. Unfortunately it is sold out.
To answer questions regarding the actual water resistance of this watch, I got in touch with Cincinnati Watch Company. They confirmed that these watches should be treated like vintage watches. The cases are snap back and were never meant to be actual dive watch cases. This watch is supposed to be a fun take on a desk diver concept using cool vintage cases. And the rubber strap was part of the joke! So, this is not intended to be a daily, GADA watch. Just a bit of fun on non-rainy days.

What a cool idea for a watch. Great review. Thanks for sharing
I think it’s a great looking watch. They have some very interesting watches. Surprised that they couldn’t give even a little bit of water resistance. Thanks for the great review!
Interesting indeed. Yeah, leather would have made more sense. Thanks for sharing, look forward to more 👍.
Hey that’s cool af
I'm still waiting for the TeaMaster to time the perfect 10 minutes wait for a brew.
Good idea. Brew should get on that!
What an amazing idea. I raced over to the website to check out more about it. Thanks. Also, don’t feed it after midnight!
0 Meters Water Resistance means not even to wear it when it is rainy or foggy. Because otherwise steam can enter the watch.
Looks like a Sicura case, but I doubt it since Sicura mostly used brass.
The case was made by Aetos. It does have "Aetos SA - Swiss Made" on it, but no specific information beyond that.
Zero water resistants ? Nice looking watch, but there’s no way it would last 5 minutes in my daily life. I’m still waiting for you to say you’re joking.
Yes, it should be treated like a vintage watch with unknown water resistance. Apparently, they did water testing on the cases, and couldn't get consistent results even with modern gaskets installed, etc. Desk diving only! Thanks for watching!
I love it, some of us are non swimmers, unfortunately, but that makes this watch perfect for me, thanks for introducing me to Cincinnati watch company 👍
Clearly fake. Everyone knows that in April there were only meters first dials.
The case to my eyes look like it’s a few machining steps from finished. Look pretty cool, however.
Exactly as they were in the 70s
Love it!
Finally!
Great review!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
looks like 50$ Vostok
But is warranted not to work as well as one under water or in use.
