I wasn't familiar with the Cincinnati Watch Company and its products until a few months ago. That changed in March when I purchased the brand's P-40m Pilot watch. Since receiving it a few weeks ago I'm very impressed. The "Honey Gold" dial is gorgeous and the watch is punching well above its purchase price in terms of its specs and performance. Since I received it, the watch has averaged less than 2 seconds variance a day compared to a satellite reference. All in all , the Cincinnati Watch Company deserves far more attention than it has typically received. I'd highly recommend exploring its products.
Good to see this brand getting some attention! I owned their Captain model and can attest to the quality. I even spoke to their watchmaker over the phone briefly. A really good brand based in the US.
heck of a value here for what you get, compared to Seiko comparables, the baby alpinist or the tictictac. and this one has way better lume than those Seikos too. just wish lug to lug was a bit shorter (their website lists it at 48mm).
Mate what a great watch. Love that dial surface, either colourway is awesome. Great value for money with a quality Swiss movement sweeping away. Well done to Cincinnati Watch Company. I love it! I want one. Great review
It looks like they improved the lume over the last generation. I bought the last version with the NH38 in the west coast blue. It came with a bracelet not up to par with even a san martin. And I even emailed the company asking if my watch was defective because the lume was so poor. They replied back stating it was normal. I was not enthused. It was rarely worn. Sat in a box, but sold on ebay for more than I paid. So I think I'm in the minority here!
I got the maroon dial version, put it on a CNS mustard/gold strap that looks fabulous. I guess my only criticism would be that the lume on the arabics is comically bad. I can throw a torch on it, and the lume on the smaller numbers will be pretty much dead after a minute!😅 I just sort of forget it has lume at all, and I'm happier. 😊
Thanks for the review Rob. The pressure test is two parts. We do pull a vacuum first and then do a positive pressure test. So feel free to fly in an unpressurized cabin or take it for a quick dip in the stream as you explore the field. Cool watch but I try not to pay too much attention to "assembled" in USA etc. What exactly does the assembly entail? Realistically probably the whole thing is made in China then they possibly regulate it and install the straps in Cincinnati. Over $500 for a no bracelet watch is kind of steep.
Caesar says 👎 on NATO straps and their senseless metal wristjabbers. (Which I imagine could also easily catch in the various parts of a gun.) But 👍🏽 on the awesome burgundy dial. Yeah, American labor is not cheap and it’s great they’re making these in Cincy.
FYI, Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus was a Roman patrician, statesman, and military leader of the early Roman Republic. Cincinnati was named after him. So that's why it is on the back of the watch and the model is named Cincinnatus Centurion. You're right about the hands, they are perfect for this watch and do help to fill out the dial. Love the way they taper at the ends and they are the proper length in my opinion also. Very nice review.

I got the burgundy and I love it, I have it on a Khaki Seatbelt NATO and love it. Arrived regulated to +2. 20 minutes from home it was a must buy lol!

I've been looking at these for a while & might stop by the shop the next time I go to Kentucky. It's hard to beat the Hamilton Khaki Field though .

I really like the overall design, nice big numbers and hands plus the detailed railroad track. Seems like a bargain for the price.

The black one looks a lot like the titanium Longines Spirit. They are both, black and maroon, nice looking watches. Sounds like quite the bargain.

These are very nice watches, but a little steep for my budget, especially with just a nato strap included. $100 less and you have yourself a sale.
