These guys do so many crazy things, you have to remind yourself that they are all excellent pilots. The STOL contest shows they know just what they are doing. Love their formation flying at the end.
My grandpa was a former pilot, and he died a few years ago after a long battle with CHF. He never missed an Oshkosh EAA show, even when he was knocking on death's door. I haven't been to Oshkosh for an air show in decades, but the second you came over the lake and started landing, I got really unexpectedly emotional. I watched the entire series. I knew where you were going. I had no idea it would hit me so hard seeing that airfield.
Jonas, Trent Palmer, Kevin Quinn & Cory Robin - Low and Slow to Oshkosh19 - All their clips are so different to each other, each has their own view but if you put it together like a puzzle, the overall picture is so amazing. You get the feeling you've been there yourself.
You're a good stick but there are plenty of those. Your ability to capture through splendidly assembled and edited video the spirit and the feeling of a large group of kindred spirit aviators on an adventure is the best I've ever seen.
FIRE!!!!!!!! FIRE!!!!!! FIRE!!!!! theses videos are burning up you tube bro , it makes the rest of us want to be there so bad, great video i was taking my flying lessons yesterday and all i could think of is the adventure waiting for me i cant wait to get my license and plane even more now thanks for sharing man STUDENT PILOT ED !!!!!!!!
Thanks for making videos that allow me to live my dreams of aviation vicariously through you (and the other Flying Cowboys)! My grandfather (Owen Black) used to take me up in his Cessna back when I was a teen and I reminisce about the good old days of flying with him frequently! An engineer friend of his (Neil Brutsche) designed an all metal ultralight called the "Freedom 28" and my grandfather built it for him. They took it to Oshkosh and won some awards with it 😎. Unfortunately they've both passed on. Grandpa passed while I was on my last deployment to the middle east this year and that's when I stumbled upon the videos that you and the Flying Cowboys have on UA-cam. Long winded comment. .. but I just wanted to express gratitude for your content and the quality thereof! Thanks again for another great video (distraction 😎)!
@@travisk5589 don't hide behind your comment. hahhahah It was fun and I wish you were there to enjoy that moment. It was filled with the best laughter and fun that anyone could ever have.
We met you and (Lithuania) at the fence the night they didn’t have the STOL because of the C5 fire! Enjoying your shooting and editing style. Waiting for someone to turn you in for having a beer open in the plane, even though you were just taxiing, people suck.
hmmm.... I wonder what its like to have a channel where your wife/girlfriend is the number one thing that your audience wants to see. I don't know how I feel about that if it was my channel. Don't get me wrong the vid got to the end and the first thing I thought was ...WHAT!!! No Silvija.... damn it.....
@@gusbisbal9803 I dig his adventures, and would watch this channel either way. Plus, I'm 40 with an awesome wife and kids, so she is simply an adorable younger lady to me, and what I enjoy most is her (literal and figurative) foreign expressiveness enjoying their adventures - I admit it is a little vicarious, as I wish I could have done this with my wife when I was younger.
Good stuff! Good tunes. Good fun! Love the ground crew that hauls your plane into the hangar before you've even unbuckled. Looking forward to your discussion about caps. Fuel caps. Coolant caps. How they work...or don't. ; ]
I never really gave the KitFox much thought. I had a Quicksilver MX but sold it before going to Iraq in 2004. Now a month away from retirement and looking at getting another one MX and possibly look at get a Sport Pilot license for a Two seat plane.
Ok Brother, the thumbnail is total click bait, but the video was well put together. I believe one of your best keep it up!! I had a rough day of flight instruction today trying to get these controlled airspace radio procedures down!!!!!! AAugh!!!!!!! So no cross country solo today and another week of studying.
Brandon Smith he threw a rod I believe. A friend of his flew him in a new engine that day. Meanwhile he took the engine off and installed the new one the next morning. He then flew straight and caught back up with us and actually won the STOL comp at New Holstein.
Absolutely love your videos Jonas and Silvija, what is Jug Heads aircraft and the red aircraft @7:00 mins. I've googled the reg's but can't find them. Keep up the good work!! P.s do you deliver merch to the UK?
OMG! Hal was out of Uniform!! A Shirt and pair of pants???? Really? That's a first! Now Jonas.... You gotta be kiddin' me...... Nervous over the fricken water??? really? !! Weav
If you think that is a big lake, you should fly over Lake Superior. It almost has more surface area than the state of Indiana. Sinks big ships too. Ever hear of the Edmund Fitzgerald?
I thought i saw Silvija in one of Trent Palmers newer Oshkosh videos real quick. Got super confused because at the same time i am watching your video's and haven't seen Silvija once inside your plane with you? Lol. Guess she met you there, sweet.
Jonas you only have NA brew, while taxing? Ramp checks do happen, FISDO can come out of nowhere ! Luv your cinematographer style , keep them coming......
I've flow into Baraboo before to do gambling at Ho Chunk Casino. Wife has relatives in Baraboo as well. Looks like you guys were at Noahs Ark or the Kalahari resort?
Awesome. 🤙 By the way, you’re doing a great job filming and editing the videos. As a pilot, I’ve recorded some cool videos but don’t really know how to edit them. Guess it’s probably time to learn how to. What editing program do you use?
Hey dude, fantastic video as per usual!! I’ve been watching your channel for a few months now and you’re really progressing and someone I aspire to be like. I’m in the UK and a couple hours away from getting my PPL, I have a quick question for you. What headset do you use please? My headset is a cheap second hand one and apparently causing some background noise when I speak on the radio, so think it’s time to change it. Keep up the good work :)
I’m always uncomfortable over water when altitude prevents gliding to safety. SF Bay class B altitude restrictions or getting sent out over the ocean on an IFR departure from Santa Barbara with zero visibility. Spooky stuff.

This dude has no fear of the FAA. Every video he shows himself breaking at least one aviation law. Way to go, dude!
MOTOCROSSFLYIN............. w/refreshments..👍😎🤙
I don’t understand why people thumbs down this video. I enjoyed it!
Another awesome video. Cool 👍👍👍❤️

Drinking beer 🍺 while flying... seems legit.
Only way to do it in Wisconsin!
Please include me next trip! I might be slightly out of place in my m5 maule.. Just a certified bush plane lol
Wow I got here before I even got the notification lol
Fantastic job editing all this, crazy nice work!
what happened with the man at 7:07
For landing at a STOL comp, is it better to hammer on the brakes keeping your tailwheel up or land and keep the tailwheel on the ground for more drag?
How was that spotted cow? Only in Wisconsin. Great video
It was great! my first time trying it.
The song used for the Oshkosh arrival >>>>
hal is everywhere
Aw sweet!
Your living the dream man. When can I join you for a fly?
Dude, your vlogs are starting to rival Trent's. Killing it!
