I live in Central Wisconsin so this was what I was probably hearing over that past few days lol. I also watched some WW2 era planes take off from Manitowoc's airport last weekend. They were Yellow an Blue!
I remember my dad was ATC for the Oshkosh airshow, I think in 2009-2010. The only thing he talks about related to his time there is the drive and how it was annoying lol
I actually also went to oshkosh this year with a Beechcraft and my friends over at the US Military also let me fly a round in the F-22 . It basically controls like a Eurofighter and was very nice. Maybe I’ll see u tomorrow.
Hey @Swiss001 now when you are in America again, can you go to Los Angeles and join @L.Aflights for LIVE planespotting? They are very cool plane spotters and at LAX there are many planes. Maybe you could test another airline like Delta.

As someone that grew up in Oshkosh, he's not wrong. Needed to add 20 mins to my 7 min drive to work just to get there on time during EAA week.

In smaller planes it gets really hot when your on the ground so opening the door cools you down and gets airflow into the plane.
