Hal deserves an MVP award or something for this trip. He blows his own engine on the way to Oshkosh lands in a field, replaces said engine. in the field, catches up with group in what less than 24 hours? competes at show. helps every one along the way. Hals the man!
God Bless Hal. God Bless Lithuania. As much as I like to give you guff about all your caps coming off on this trip, I'm grateful that you've shared the pain because I'll never take a fuel or coolant cap for granted on my plane. I'll always triple check, double torque now, and the problems I avoid will be thanks to you.
After all that you are safer than driving home. Looks like a fun way to travel. Your travel partner not only very pretty but also very chill despite everything. That's a sign of good character.
You've got the best music in these videos. You've definitely got the best girl... ever. You make excellent videos, that always seem to end too soon. You, sir, are living the life. Please stop to appreciate it... it isn't forever.
Great video, as always. Quick decision to land was spot-on. And every group (flying, motorcycling, whatever) needs a Hal. The guy who brings the tools AND knows how to use them.
I think the flying cowboys should do a tribute video to Hal! I mean this guy changes his engine in a field and brings along enough spare parts and tools to build a plane! I bet McGuyver calls Hal for how to advice! !!!
Dam... Hal 9000 is just as required as fuel and oil. You guys treat Hal generously during and after this great flight. First person you buy gifts for this xmas too. What a guy!
This has become one of my favorite channels. Love the scenic shots,,and also love the low level flying..I Disagree with the comment about how you two have no chemistry . You both seem totally into each other. Thanks for the Great Videos..
Your videos just keep getting better! Fantastic edit, interesting content, and now that you've flown low and slow with the Flying Cowboys, street cred!
1995 We flew in and camped under the wing of our Cessna 210. I think in 96 their was a storm that caused major damage to the fly inn campground. Lots of memories.
Looks like you stopped at Wisconsin Rapids. My home town I grew up in. My dad had a 150 commuter and hanger there, when he was alive. Got my final instructions there and check ride out of Marshfield. Flew out of Rapids for a couple years. (I know they've improved the airport recently to accommodate larger planes and small jets, getting more traffic for the golfers hitting the courses south a couple miles at Arrowhead) Not current anymore but really enjoy your vids!
I was trying to count how many times Silvija's name was mentioned in your comments...I guess she's a keeper. lol Great flying...love going along for the ride! Keep up the awesome videos!!!
Oshkosh to Idaho? Man, that's a fur piece in a little aircraft like that. A friend of mine flew from Santa Anna Cal to Jonesboro AR in a 172 and I called him crazy. Then he made the return trip safe and sound.
Hi, Silvija! You must have big biceps, holding up those planes and helos. // Hey, the infamous Trent at 1:57! // Bummer about the coolant cap, but it all worked out without any more trouble or costs. How fast is your troop o' tail-draggers able to move between airports? Is this like a week each way for the cross-country trip? FUN trip!
So I'm in the middle of studying for private lic and its a helpfull thing watching some of your videos and the other fellows you fly with, Most my small plane flying has been in southeast and centrall alaska.. Seems like constant ruff as frig turbulence up here... Have you done any videos on mountain/valley flying, weather and turbulence?
@@JonasMarcinko Good Grief! I was 41 in 1987 and still hadn’t taken my first flying lesson yet. Racked up 1200 hours and it’s been 10 years since I’ve flown. Time flies and stops for no one.

Jonas! I had the pleasure of tapping you on the shoulder at Oshkosh when you were at the EAA DIY Fabric Covering workshop; Love your videos and your flying. Very unassuming, natural, and just cool. Keep up the good work!
Quite the adventure. Wonderful story/editing. Beautiful scenery, awesome planes, the unexpected and danger, and a girl. It is none of my business, yet I would not let her return to Canada. Or anywhere else.

Sylvia is one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen. Like how? where did she come from? is she human? Those eyes man...those polar ice cap eyes. Glad the plane is ok and y'all are safe man!
Great video and excellent music. I thought you said you were showing planes at OSH, but all I saw was Silvija!. Too many "minor" incidents; perhaps a better or hardcopy pre-flight checklist would help. I wanna see more videos for a long time from you!
love your videos and the music. I am a huge dirtbiker and salt fisher and am really wanting to turn it all in for a plane :) looks awesome man thanks for the posts.

I would love to find somebody especially with the Bush aircraft to fly in with. and land in rivers to swim etc. and go see the biggest airshow in the world! Great work Jonah!
Hi Jonas and Silvija, you are both great on camera and filming but it would have been good if you had given us more time to see the planes you were showing us like that twin engine @1.19, was it a mosquito? and what is that 8 prop at @1.13?
I’ve been checking out your videos. Seems like overheating is a regular thing. Is that normal for these type of aircraft? I’m totally ignorant of these things, that’s why I ask. Thanks and be safe!

Intense for sure! Just can't say oh we can just pull off to the side of the road. but in this case land pretty much anywhere. Can't wait to complete my Private pilots Cert.
