How to diagnose and fix shaking/rough idle Dodge Ram 1500 92-02

In this video, I diagnose a rough idle/shaking that is coming from the Dodge engine bay. We purchased the truck less than a week before and had yet to do any basic maintenance on it.
So in this video, I will go through a number of things that I typically do in a situation where an old vehicle I recently purchased has a rough idle. I clean the cold air intake, clean the throttle body, and clean the ICV. This vehicle did not have a mass air flow sensor, but I typically clean that as well when I purchase a new vehicle.

the O2 sensors are notorious on these...rough idle or sometimes stalling and then running good when you floor it...no check engine light....replace them when you do a tune up..

I have a 95 Dodge Ram 1500 , 5.2 that intermittently misses out and like after getting to around 65-70 mph and let off then try to speed back up it shakes and really starts misfiring. No mechanic,auto parts or dealership has a reader that can read a 95 they all start at 96….. any ideas ? I’ve cleaned up the battery post and replaced the clamps,some corrosion, and the old cracked coil to no avail please help me if you can I’m on social security and can’t afford for someone to do a bunch of trial and error replacements….Mike

Its got a holly throttle body. Nice

Holly made the throttle bodies for these trucks. If you go to a junkyard you'll find most magnum engines have the holly stamp on the throttle body.

That is a5.7 not a 5.9 sorry its a habit

no it is a 5.9 gas burner they are bigger engines then the 5.7 hemi
