How to Replace Radiator 94-02 Dodge Ram
Replacing the radiator on a Dodge Ram 1500 is pretty quick and easy. You will need several sockets and a rachet, a fuel line quick disconnect for the lower transmission lines, and possibly a new lower and upper radiator hose if you want to replace them.
You will be dealing with the coolant system so you will have to refill the coolant, but the good news is that you do not have to bleed the coolant systems on these trucks.

Unfortunately, if you have to go back and forth to the auto parts store to pick up the specialty tools required, it will take longer. Yo...
How to diagnose and fix shaking/rough idle Dodge Ram 1500 92-02

In this video, I diagnose a rough idle/shaking that is coming from the Dodge engine bay. We purchased the truck less than a week before and had yet to do any basic maintenance on it. So in this video, I will go through a number of things that I typically do in a situation where an old vehicle I recently purchased has a rough idle. I clean the cold air intake, clean the throttle body, and clean ...

This video details how to find a coolant leak with an easy to use tool that can be rented from a local auto parts store. The coolant pressure tester is by far the best tool to find coolant leaks with and it is extremely easy to use. As you can see in the video, once I applied pressure to the coolant system, a leaking coolant hose immediately revealed itself.

The tailgate handle on this Ford Ranger was not working, luckily it was an easy repair. This is a quick fix, basically, you have two rods that connect to the tailgate handle on one side and to the locks on the other side. The rods are connected to the handle via plastic retainers. These plastic retainers often break simply due to wear and tear over the years. They are easily replaceable and can...

You will need: Jack stand, jack, hammer, flathead screwdriver, brake caliper press, brake pads. 1) Pop the lid off of the brake master cylinder. 2) Break the lug nuts on one side of the truck. 3) Jack the same side in the air until the tire does not touch the ground. 4) P...

How to Diagnose a Ford Ranger Rough Idle

In this video I discuss how you can diagnose your Ford Ranger's idling and rpm issue. With idling issues the most common problem is an air-related issue. There are several easy things to quickly check to identify the source. First, if you can hear a "sucking air" sound than you likely have a vacuum leak somewhere. On Ford Rangers the most common source of vacuum leaks is the "vacuum tree" on th...

First chance i get i'm replacing that puppy! I'm currently looking for the reason why it stalls when turning at slow speeds/at idle, people on decade old forums pointed me to TPS and i think it might just kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

@ 04:12 slightly wrong description. That hose runs from the throttle body to the fuel canister, not to a "pump". The purpose of the canister is this: It collects fumes evaporating from the fuel tank (while the car is parked) and condenses them back into gasoline. The car then sucks this excess fuel out of the canister and burns it while running. This eliminates the old problem of walking into your garage and smelling gas fumes from your parked car. In the old days, your fuel tank was vented to the outside, and the gas vapor could be detected after the car was parked a while. Now it is vented into that canister, and reused. so the smell is eliminated. That hose is designed to flow the fumes and/or condensed fuel from the canister into the engine, so that it does not overflow. It often has a "purge valve" in the middle of the hose; such a valve is designed to purge the canister for only the first 5 minutes of when the car is started.

Several points were missed. I bought a 70 chevelle malibu from a guy in AL. I knew the car was rougher than a week stay in jail but I figured I could repair the bad decisions and great ideas someone else had performed. Having said that I was feeling a little lazy and figured I could out source the work. NOT including anything from the A pillars forward the metal repair estimates were between 20 and 25k this doesn’t include paint. After the price shock I made the repairs myself. Upon deeper inspection I found the frame was tweaked from a previous collision. Repair cost at a local reputable frame shop? $2,800! Now I can’t really price my labor on the body but I can price the panels I replaced and I reskinned the entire body for around 16k plus the frame at 2,800. Estimates to block prime and paint are around 25k. Price for a good power train? From the custom radiator to the rear differential (t304 ss 3in pipe included) drum roll please! About 53k. If you want a nice car have deep pockets. Otherwise you’re setting yourself up for a long expensive, frustrating road of pure problems! If you feel like you can cut corners here, there, around over there then all you’ll have is a run of the mill shitbox death trap that’s worth whatever someone will give you for it. Have a nice day, enjoyed the video!

I've had 10 hot rods/muscle cars in my life, and they were all garage queens. I did NOT do the Saturday night car show routine either, sitting in a lawn chair for 5 hours transfixed on an immaculate paint job was not my thing. I did Banzai runs, then drove home and wiped down my cherished baby looking for any damage from birds, bugs and rocks. If I ever get another car, it will have an impressive drivetrain, BUT it will be in primer, so then I'll be able to enjoy driving it without that fear of the birds, bugs and rock chips sucking the fun out of driving my car.

If you havnt figured it out yet and you still got it it's something with the fuel or air system ide check to make sure there isn't any air being sucked into the engine besides the air intake and if that isn't it your gonna wanna check fuel lines and all that

Idle air control valve, intake filter gasket, plenum gasket, or a vacuum leak elsewhere, if it sounds healthy but won't idle it's probably the iacv, you can pop the throttle body off and clean the two a bit but it's more than likely a vacuum leak had the same issue in mine and it was just a intake gasket
