It's almost unbelievable how organic these settlements look, if only bethesda had this much talent and love for their settlement building scene. You are by far the best fo4 building channel on youtube.
@@jamesb1346 Have you seen the main settlements? Good neighbour, Diamond city, etc? They are bland and look rather mediocre and not lived in, basically looks as if the bombs had just fallen.
@@damnimbored25 I think Bethesda should add more decorations in the workshop to use, like crates, barrels, cement blocks etc that is seen in the wasteland. @shawzzo would defiantly love that 😉
@damnimbored25 I have and they don't bother me. They still have their own identities. The game had to run on systems from 10 years ago and Bethesda still had to make the entire rest of the game, so if their settlements aren't as insanely detailed as the ones in these videos it's not really an issue for me
They get me SO stoked about setting up my XBox again. This winter is going to be a perfect time to finish my current play-through and then start again with new settlements.
You know I never knew about most of the glitches until I found your channel a while back. You completely revitalized my love for Fallout 4. I had a ton of mods installed, including a cheat room mod, so the game got real boring real fast. I did a mod purge, deleting all but like eight mods. The mods I left for solely for settlement building. I've been using the pillar glitch alot and it is a godsend. Something else I've come to enjoy is going on what I call "gun runs". I'll raid major raider bases and collect all their pipe weaponry to use for scrap to lower the build limit. What I guess I'm trying to say is thank you for helping me refind my love and passion for Fallout 4. Keep up the magnificent builds man!
Man i always love your builds, if i had all the time in the world i would be building settlements for ever. Keep doing what your doing, your amazing at it.
THIS IS AWESOME!!! I love your building style, the scrappy look, no space is wasted. Everything looks like something out of a post-apocalyptic movie. please keep doing what you are doing, you have an incredible talent.😍😍
This is my favorite of your builds. Every time I think it can’t get any better you surprise me again. I’m gonna steal so many of your wonderful ideas! The pathways, the lights on the silos, the enormous mutfruit garden… I don’t know where to begin! I love your work, keep doing what you’re doing!
This has gotta be the best one yet! Well done turning this into a completely amazing and realistic looking build! Can't wait to see you tackle some of the tougher settlements such as the swampy construction site
Been watching you since you started off, I fucking love this series and it inspired me to waste aprox 200 hours on settlements so far, still going. Tidings is a pretty sweet spot so I have high hopes for this video!
yooo i dig how you made that automatron workshop look so integrated. i usually place mine somewhere off to the side to help the robots quirky pathing, but it looks great nestled in this build with a carpet on top!
To be cheeky, places in the original game should have looked like this, more lively, more inhabited. It often seems as if they are just rooms that have been looted and are only being used to protect themselves from rain .
I think this one is my favorite of yours so far. I've put a lot of time into my own Sunshine Tidings, it's my favorite settlement, but without really knowing about the glitches so there's always things that are irritating. Now I'm so inspired to take another look at mine and see what I can make even better. Love your videos
The fence around the build boundaries is a very nice touch. IIRC this is the closest settlement to the Nuka World station so it’s perfect for building a raider outpost of you are doing that type of play through. Thanks as always for keeping the vanilla and DLC no mod FO4 settlement builds alive in 2024 (and hopefully beyond)!
I'm not sure if you've used it yet, but I personally love the aesthetic of pillar glitching small farming plots into the bed of those old busted trucks. It would go great in a build of this style.
I think this is the homeliest build of yours so far. If I was in fallout I'd love to live there. Seems very peaceful and downright cozy. Even the cantine can pass a date spot in its own post-apoc way :)
My idea for this place is always making it a lonely survivor in a zombie apocalypse who's a drunk with a bunch of abandoned boarded up houses so seeing it all full of life is so nice!! I think one of my faves you've done so far!
I've watched several of your builds now at this point, and your effort in each build is fantastic. The way yoou bring each settlement alive into an idealised version with such interesting decoration and building choices is amazing. Definetly earned the sub!
Been watching these off and on, and I love seeing some of the techniques for settlement building. This will definitely help make my settlement builds look so much cleaner after learning some of these tricks! Thanks for these videos, keep up the good work.
Wow this build is a whole new level of impressive. It'd probably lag put my poor computer though; that's a ton of decoration! Great job, thanks for sharing!
Phenomenal as usual. Your trick with the ashtrays to drop the ceiling fans: genius. I see you have a settler stuck on the roof. I’ve had a provisioner and his Brahmin stuck on the roof at Egret Tours Marina for weeks now. Every time I wind up at that settlement, there he is just standing aimlessly on the roof. I guess I need to build him a giant ramp so they can finally get off of there. Lol. “Mute-fruit” btw, as it’s short for “Mutant Fruit.” ;-)
Maybe my favorite one with red rocket and gray garden! Great great job! You're very creative. Even small details like mut wine is great! Wish I could build like you. It takes me about 4 times more time to do something about your level. Can't wait for the next episode!
I think this is the first video I've seen of yours, and my god.... this is incredible. I can't even imagine how long this takes. (as I typed that I heard the part that you say you just past 18 hours lol) Massive respect for the dedication and creativity! Phenomenal job brother!
This build was top tier, Shawzzo! Your progress is noticeable for each and every settlement. Im excited to see what you make of Vault 88. It's by far my favourite settlement build I did myself. I made it into a half finished vault, long tunnels with exits leading to nowhere ( the tunnels with collapsed rubble ) a tower as the overseers quarters and security quarters on the way up looking over a courtyard where the dwellers conduct the narly tests. Dot on the i was the light turrets monitoring from a high point aswell, it gave a paradoxical sense of security and being under threat at the same time since they are basically test subjects. Very eerie build i had alot of fun building. Anyway, looking forward to the nxt build, cheers ( honorable mention I had a jumpscare in the collapsed tunnel as you open a door from inside the vault, a mannequin with the mascot head equipped )
Great video, with one of the most underrated settlements, now, how about another one with abernathy farm? I love that settlement and want to see what you'll do with its huge vertical build limit
It never ceases to amaze me, how innovative you are with these and yet staying true for the lore in aesthetical perspective! Really solid settlement there :) Will you do Tenpines Bluff settlement by any chance? It's one of my favorite one's; compact and cute!
I just started playing again after a while and now I've been doing my settlements as businesses and whatnot instead of actual settlements. I have a couple drug mods installed so I made red rocket into a dispensary/weed farm. Starlight drive in is a battle arena. Hangmans alley is a casino. Sanctuary has a mechanic shop restoring cars and then a car dealership selling the finished cars (not really just did it for the lore) because 200 years after with the tech people have you'd think someone would've gotten cars working again. (you can actually drive the cars with the mod I have) I also made Grey garden into a robot factory with 1 human settler so it looked like 1 tech savvy guy built robots to do his work for him with a single building with a bunch of the robot benches inside. And last as if now the slog is half gun store and half armor store with the locker rooms being storage rooms with the appropriate work benches. Over the pool I built a shooting range to test out your new weapons.
Brilliant… what settlement are looking at next? Your creativity is amazing. Thank you for the new ideas for this settlement. Thank god for the pillar glitch
Gods I feel so stupid. For my robohippie settlement, I decided to keep it (mostly) similar, theme-wise, except as a razorgrain farm/bakery focus, but couldn't decide what to do with the house that could only be opened at the back. Duh. Powerhouse. Sometimes overthinking things is Not A Great idea, eh. Stealing it. ;) Looks great! that is a _lot_ of mutfruit! Found your channel today gotta say super impressed with you builds, I would love to see your spin on a Castle build as it's my favorite settlement to build in since if you get all level 4 traders plus ronnie it's an amazing trading hub.
Amazing work, the next settlement that I want to see is a very difficult one to build in it is the Airport. Please do the Airport settlement next I am curious
I once decorated the Prydwen quarters with various game things, power armor and junk. The problem is that due to the collision with the NPCs, the objects sometimes fly around or spawn when I enter the Prydwen at the top of the hatch. Too bad. There is no possibility to place objects firmly.
You got me to replay FO4 And while my old dusty ps4 can't really handle the level of stuff you do,(and my skills in manipulating glitches and creativity/patience to use all the glitches) is lacking, and I get frustrated by things i really shouldnt, thank you for these creative builds that have no mods(ps4 is restrictive, and also mods are broken on my account, wont let me even look at em.)
the robot just doesn't stfu, building so much with that noise in the background must've been an experience for you.
Love the build
Umm..I decided to rip him apart 🤌🏽😂
That bot is about as chatty as a B2 from Starwars. :P
He may be a repetitive nuisance, but I always miss him when he's gone. Todd bless him.
My robot was just... gone... when I went back. I was a wee bit disappointed.
If you have perk robotic expert u can shut him down 😅

brilliant build as always. especially the security tower coming out of the garden. loving the short build clips within the tour too. works well.
All those settlements that you rebuild should look like this by default. Very lore friendly and atmospheric as well.
