You should look at Skooled Zone's wire glitch. it will help uou hide the wires and clip thouh things like the busses.

I flipped the buses around where the doors were accessible and I made separate walkways with railings into the buses on both sides of the building one of them I use as the sanctuary public occurrences office for Piper

Has anyone here found the fix for Hangman’s not allowing you to build / set the beacon? PS4 with mods. I’ve tried clearing everything and revisiting numerous times. Sucks to miss out on this settlement!

The devs should've offered a carpentry perk so people could actually fix homes and buildings to their prewar state. Excellent job fixing that house.

There is an actually an interior to a couple of those buildings, but you need mod to scrap the wall blocking them and to build inside of them. Sad the game didn't actually utilize that space though.

The chair on the shack bridge had me rolling. Building without mods really encourages creativity in ways modded playthroughs often do not. (This is why i only play with mods that are purely aesthetic). I still look at my unmodded game with so much fondness though. Great cleanup of a notoriously tough settlement!

They actually fixed the pathing so that settlers will go out to the area with the chained door! Mind blown, i had no idea. Love the way you closed off the awning areas, especially how the unscrappable shack and the first awning look like one building. Pretty cool how you got so much built on the edges of the settlement, leaving wide open areas in the middle while still making room for 7 beds and 2 shops.

How do you get the gymnastics equipment?

I think it has reach consensus in the community that Coastal Cottage is absolutely the worst build site. I actually managed a full enclosed first floor using barn pieces. It didn't look great, but I got a lot of good space use from it. I have never been able to duplicate it though. It required very specific locating, and I just got lucky the first time. Anyway, Ive just given up on Coastal and do the utmost minimum with the site. As for yours, all I might say is give em a turret platform for defense somewhere. Only because the place will continuously get hit without them.

That's an awesome job. I only picked the game up in 2020 and I have struggled with this settlement. Its always a haphazard nightmare. There is one thing to keep in mind for people who copy this. The location of the power house is a spawn point for hostiles. I usually wall it off just before that point & throw some turrets up high to eliminate them before they can move. They'll disable generators. Learned that the hard way when they shut off the power to a beta wave emitter & my pet yao guai turned hostile.

Thats a really good build, I like some of your ideas. I love building in Hangman's Alley as its such a challenge. Several things I seem to always do is to use the Doorways as Lavs - stick a door on and its just big enough for a toilet. I also surround the junk wall entry you can't scrap with the curved concrete...

I always leave the doors locked and just put stairs over them for the player to enter exit I also did similar with a little shack above the verandas but I built a bridge going across to both sides using scaffolding and the grate kinda wire floors And I turned the bottom part of the veranda opposite the stairs into a pantry/food storage I also did the garden plot thing a while ago when I built here :))
