When I try to put it on the roof of a house, it always sits too high. Almost like the 3rd story of the house and too far off the ground. New player here. What am I doing wrong?

Am I the only one who hates the background bird chirping? I know that sounds like I hate nature or something, the true reason is because my alarm in the morning is essentially the exact same noise of bird chirping on repeat. So I’m basically listening to my wake up alarm throughout the whole video and I’m getting ptsd the whole time Love the videos regardless! Shawzzo is easily the best non-mod builder by far!!

Love this build and especially the entrance!! 😍 I just started playing a couple of weeks ago after watching the show. Loved your sanctuary hills videos as I had no idea what I was doing 🙈 started looking up red rocket videos shortly after but couldn’t find any doable ones (without mods) and then you uploaded this one. If you clear the mole rat cave before interacting with dogmeat the mole rats do not appear, and leave holes.

I've only just gotten back into fallout after years of not playing and I've been trying to build up settlements, Love what you're doing but where do all of these extra items come from, I don't see half of them in my game. Is it from the magazines .. Would love to do similar types of builds :D

Mind blowingly good. I always keep everything in Sanctuary for this exact build idea in mind. Made a new save, my save to beat all saves, the final one..... I bloody deleted all the stuff in Sanctuary didn't I 😂

I really enjoy how you keep the location's unique features. LOVE how you made the shop window and the entrance to the build. You mention you like the scrappyness of it all, but doesn't the rubble and random grass *inside* the main building bother you? I suppose that's a personal preference. Do you plan on doing any settlement as clean-cut non-scrappy as possible, cleaning it up and using as little "battered" pieces as possible? I usually steal all the Vault 81 "clean" and "new" items like food and scrap and use that to set up a place, bc it genuinely bothers me that after 200 years, the wasterlanders haven't learned to clean their plates and glasses lol.

Well done mate. Keeping it small worked so well. I have to keep that in mind when I build. Keeping the rooms small feels more natural. And that entry way, I’m stealing that once I get done with my play through.

At first glance, the work is stunning in scale, but if you look closely, there is an excess of marine themes everywhere, as if you are not in Sanctuary, but in some coastal port inhabited by sailors, it’s like an obsession. The same situation is with sellers in every house. This is no longer Fallout, but some kind of carnival and circus. If you wanted to feel like a designer, then you overdid it and became a hoarder and a scavenger, as if the main character had gone crazy due to the loss of his family, but hoarders live alone and it’s strange to see a bunch of hoarders in one place. That is, scenario-wise and aesthetically, this is an excessively bad design.

Do your settlers ever go up to the roof area? I put some Minuteman artillery on the roof and assigned settlers to them. Built a proper stairway leading up and onto the roof, but the settlers wouldn't go up there. I swear it must not be navmeshed for their pathing

Normally i turn the sloped part of the roof of the red rocket into a shooting range using the posters that light up as the targets but that enclosed elevator idea is do freaking good that i need to use that in my settlements asap

Easily the best red rocket build I have ever seen. Very unique, I have never seen anyone board up all of the doors and create a whole new entrance.

Shame settlers can’t use elevators so no one will get up there.

How to you make the items static without mods?
