Sis I need the link to that wig!!! It looks great for synthetic!! I lost all my hair recently due to chemo for triple negative breast cancer, thank you for this video and I can’t wait to watch your other vids. I hope to see you my way too. I mostly do beauty related videos but lately it’s been videos documenting my breast cancer journey. I have several new vids to share updates about. I love making new friends here on UA-cam so I’d love to chat with you or anyone that stops by. I’ll for sure show the love and support right back of course. Sending lots of love from southeast Kentucky
You are my hero! I am almost 40 and my hair has been falling out since I was 20. I am finally at a point that I need a wig and actually ordered my first one online. However, I have no idea what I am doing. I cant thank you enough for the how to video but also you confidence. It has really helped me more than you can ever know!
FINALLY, a vid that just kept it REAL, w/o all the excess unnecessary primping, product, styling, & steps. Bottom line is it still serves the SAME purpose in the end so all the rest is a waste of TIME. Thank you gurl, u r LEGIT. 👍
Thank you for posting this! I've got thinning hair in the front too, and have been feeling self-conscious about it, but never thought I could wear a wig. You make it seem possible. It certainly looks very natural on you! I never would have guessed it was a wig if I just met you on the street. I look forward to learning more. :)
I recently had to start wearing a wig after losing most of my hair (presumably due to medications I was put on after a spinal cord injury) I am so grateful for stumbling across your video! Your confidence and willingness to share and educate are inspiring :) In the comments, I see that you refer to using a glue and I wonder if you would please share some details? I would so appreciate it! Brand? How to apply with hair, just slightly less than the amount you have? Anything else! Thanks
I'm a first time viewer and I thought this video was fun and informative. You have a great natural way in front of a camera. Can't wait to learn more about wigs! Blessings!
Hey...lots of love n respect for u....u r so brave and honest...I m going through a very bad hair phase...trying all methods to save them...bt honestly I don't think there is any way out...I m not able to find d reason for my thinning hair and m loosing them everyday....now I think wig is the only saviour....ur video has given me confidence that I can lead my rest of life without embarrassment....still I need wishes so that I can save my hair...thanks
thanks for this video. I am a new wig owner so having to learn how to wear it right. That's a neat trick how you parted your hair where the wig is parted to.
Fabulous !! Thanks for the help. My hair is just reaching the point where I will have to cut t off, and also start wearing wigs, so I do appreciate any information I can get. Thank you !!
I have the same genetic hair loss. I'm SURE you hear it alot. Hell, I SEE it alot!! I've done an enormous amount of research into my hair loss , it's been that traumatic for me. It was so thick and full right up to my early 30's(I just turned 50). and suddenly, I started noticing a widow peak when I'd put on a band to cleasne at night!! Thru my 30's, I spent thousands upon THOUSANDS on every "best hair growth' out there. From using the full line of Nioxin for 5 straight yrs (ACCELERATED THE HAIR LOSS!!!) to using various diff minox treatments. And I was always anal about being thorough with any regimine I tried. Did em on clock work..and gave them all significant time to 'see the difference's. (No less than an entire year on every thing I tried) Today....I'm wearing wigs. Lol. In my research, I found gals raised through the 1920-60's, we're 80-90 yr olds with full, thick pixi cut(,by choice for manegment ..lol) hair. That continued through the 70's (ladies born and grew up reaching geriatric in the early 90-2000's). Same thing! Nice full heads of hair they kept cropped for most part. Thick hair is harder to manage with old, failing muscles and joints. That was the common consensus. (I wish I could have that problem?! Lol) Gals born 60-70s raised through 80s 90s..and are mid life now, like myself...the dramatic change in hair loss is frightening. 88% of women in my age bracket, suffer non pattern AND pattern hair loss. So basically... Across the board loss. Now....take younger gals born in 80-90s...I'm assuming that's you? OVER 90% report hair loss issues. OVER 90%!!! The human race is also 30% more (height) as we were in early 1900's. High school freshmen girls looked like high school freshmen girls when I was in high school. Now?? They look like grown ass women. Developed ..etc. Boys look like MEN! Most able to grow a full beard in soohmore year? And earlier. It's scary what our food chain has done to us. I'm a gun toting, God fearing conservative that does Not buy into the whole green house bullshit. But man...there is NO ARGUING what growth hormones ,antibiotics. Etc ..all the shit they pump into any living thing, to keep it 'alive and healthy' WITHOUT human 100% attendance .....is doing THIS to us. WHEW!! THATS a novel eh?? I think ya look outstanding with or without the wig but I know from experience, that doesn't make ya feel any better about the hair.loss. Peace to ya girl friend. Your lovely.
im so glad i saw this video..i was diagnosed with scarring alopecia,my hair is like yours and my hair will never grow back,so i been down and worried abt using a wig,if ppl would stare, would it look fake, would it fall off....im going to buy one next week to practice,ty so much for sharing.
You gave great instruction. I've never worn one, and don't have hair loss. I do have short hair. How do you keep the wig from shifting or moving if not pinned to a wig cap? Thanks.
Very helpful for me. My hair is very thin and I'm considering buying a wig. Can't believe how natural yours looks! Really beautiful. What make is it please? Thank you v much. X
This is a very informative video for someone like me who has never worn a wig, but wants to... I have some unique problems. My head is only 20.5 inches around so every wig I have ever tried is far too big for my head. Also... I have never quite understood how to get my waist-length hair under a wig cap... so your video showing these "snap-clips" is something I have never seen before. I am trying to learn more about wig-caps and what kind of wig to buy that will look totally natural like real hair in natural color like a light-auburn sort of copper color. Of course I would be buying a human hair wig unless there is such a thing as a synthetic wig that looks like real hair. My own natural hair color is pure white... platinum... yes, it is long about 4 inches past my waist... I used to use natural red henna in my own hair most of my adult life and I really miss being a redhead.
You are right. Your wig does still look great. And you are Beautiful!! Thanks for the simple instruction. (Thanks for the great tip regarding the wig cap) Sometimes we need the very basic steps! Yours were super clear and easy to follow. Thank you!!!
Thank you for sharing. I am new to this. Lost a lot of hair due to extreme stress and now the front is so thin and patchy I need to help buying my first wig. The problem I have no idea where to start so thank you. You are beautiful!
Hi..I just want to say that your wig wearing example was very very good..I to am like you.. my hair is thining in the same exact areas as yours so I really appreciated your wig expose..I am beginning to wear wigs for the very first time in my entire life and I wanted to know the right and proper way to wear them..thank you.
Yes. Without the cap looks better.IT is a pretty wig. What is the brand and where did you buy it from? I have alopecia all over my head not just in one place, so I've started to wear wigs too. Your's looks soooo pretty, plus you a pretty girl!
I have been wondering whether to get a wig or not....my hair doesn't grow long enough for the style i want, so i was thinking of extensions, but that might ruin my hair further and my hair is too short a weak to support them. So i am really self concious whether i could pull the wig look off or not....I want very long hair, sort of down to half way the back almost.....my question is do wigs slip a lot or do you clip them to your hair to make them stable as that's something i would worry bout xx
would you recommend putting both the ultra hold and the tape together on someone who has hair but wants a more strong and natural look or would u just recommend using only one of each separately.
your so sweet & beautiful I feel your pain with thinning hair .Thankyou so much for the fab tips as I'm waiting to recieve my first wig.was embarrassed but no more .💖xx
I have just started thinking about getting a wig. I have hair like yours - super fine and really thin. Is there a particular brand of wig you like best? Thanks!
Hi I recently started loosing my hair and such an awful feeling to go through I got a few wig’s and if you have any advice on how to make it smaller the little bands they have are useless for me combs useless and I know the smallest size everyone sells is a 21.5 well my size of head is a 20.5 so I didn’t want a real cheap looking wig because I didn’t want anyone to know I had a wig and I’m medium ash brown I have to get them died I tried to do it but trashed a 400 dollar wig so where would I be able to get my hair cap sized for a decent price and loved you info thank you
This was very helpful thank you so much, this may sound like a stupied question but, when you clean the wigs would you like get it wet and shampoo it rinse shampoo and dry it?
Your videos are very good and your wigs look really great on you. I usually wear full cap wigs so I have to learn how to apply my lace fronts with tap and glue. Thanks again for sharing your story.
True! You Are Beautiful With or Without Wig! I too have genetic hair loss and looking at your video gave me inspiration that this just means that now I am thinking of dashing styles for myself that I never thought of before, this is quite exciting actually :p. Question: How well does the wig stay if worn without a wig cap? Is it good for an active/sport day out?
Great tips...I typically avoid getting hair cuts out of fear of getting a bad cut but it had been about 5 years since my last cut so...I went to a very nice salon where I had spoke to someone who had a fantastic cut and style done there...long story short, I got a very bad haircut with way too short bangs and I'm now trying alternatives till my hair grows. I have purchased a couple of wigs but was not sure on the best way to put them on and how to keep my hair under the wig. Your video was very helpful...thank you. I'm also researching extensions but my hair is super fine and much thinner due to medications I have to take so I'm a little leary on extensions and the possibility of them making my hair thinner. Question, how do you handle the heat? I find myself sweating and very hot from wearing a wig...any hints on how to best keep cooler while wearing a wig? Thanks.
Hi, I recently got a wig, and the only problem I have with it is that it gets frizzy, which leads to tangles. It's supposed to be curly, but even if I have to straighten it, do you have any suggestions on how to keep from getting frizzy? I tried putting hairspray on a brush and running it through, and smoothing oil. Do you have any suggestions?
Oh my gosh I appreciate your honesty and this video so so so much! I am going through the same thing and have been struggling with my wigs! Thank you so much for this video! Definitely subscribing now!! ❤️
You are BEAUTIFUL. Thanks for sharing your story. I suffer from thinning hair as well although I can still get away with using hair fiber powders but have been experimenting with wigs just for a fuller and different look.
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! You're VERY honest, brave, and sweet. Thank you for these videos. I know they are going to help a lot of people. God Bless You! ;)
You are cute both with and without the wig. Your strength is in your eyes! But of course if you feel more comfortable and confident wearing a wig, just do it!
You are a beautiful lady!! The wig looks lovely on you!! Very natural. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and instructions with those of us who are new to wigs!! ❤
Purchasing a wig conditioner may help. I have a lovely spray-on detangler/conditioner that you can use on dry or wet hair. It smells really nice, and doesn't leave a residue like hairspray. Remember too that if your wig is synthetic only buy conditioner for synthetic hair. You can soak it after washing in the conditioner or I've even heard some people use fabric softener. Final tip, only use wide-tooth combs or brushes for wigs. Regular hair brushes made my wigs frizzy. Hope this helped! :)
Hello! Thanks for this video! I noticed that you wig had little hair on the front part, and this is the kind of wig that I want to start using, can you give me some piece of advice on the best wigs for this purpose? Thanks!!!
Hey :) I have a question to ask you... I know this may sound really silly, but when you were like lifting it up and and all... what happens when you go outside and its really windy? does it ever fly off? Because ive been thinking about buying a really long one, but ive always worried about it not looking real, and having it blow off :O xx
Thank you so much! That wig looks stunning on you. : ) I'm newly bald and figuring this whole 'wig thing' out. I blindly bought the first wig I really felt enamored with and realized I have no idea what I'm doing. lol
if you use the combs to secure it you may have some slippage but you should be fine as long as you are doing anything very strenuous. best way to secure it is with a little tape just to make sure it stays put.
Have you tried (for the hairline issue) using makeup? Maybe like a powder or something. I've heard of some people doing that, but I wasn't sure how it would be possible without it getting on the wig.
Thanks for this video...helped me decide on buying my 1st wig. My hair hadn't grown much since I last cut it but its still medium length. But I want to try different colors before I decide to color it again....!!!
Hi there! Thank you for the great video. I am just starting to look for my first wig. I'm having a hard time finding one with the right texture. I am a 50 (something) year old white girl with thin hair! Obviously I don't want my wig to be thin, but I also don't need the texture of an African American wig either. Can you point me in the right direction?? Thank you in advance!!!
I just love you! My hair looks exactly the same way, rare and short and I was sooo depresed thinking I'm the only one. But now I have a wig and your video and I start to feel more secure about myself! Thank you so much babe
Have you or someone you know ever ordered from one of those direct from China websites like "aliexpress"? They seem to have prices on human hair cheaper than rpgshow, but I wonder about the quality. Also I was wondering what your opinion was on different types of human hair like Brazilian, Malaysian, Chinese, Indian..etc.
Great job thanks for your help with the wig....my hair is falling out bad and going to have it cut off short ,,,,you look great with the wig,,,,thanks again,
Thank you :) I really liked your video. I really like your wig too. I've lost all my hair due to chemo treatments and have found it hard to find a comfortable wig.
Have you tried to use Castor oil, rosemary essential oil and coconut oil and masaging it into your scalp to help with the hair loss? :) It helped me get thicker hair after only using it 5 months massaging it about 2-3 times a week and sleeping with the oils on my scalp. Btw you're gorgeous!
Do you buy online and if so any suggestions? I see so many black women who have amazing wigs and amazing install but I'm looking for something that $150 and under and I'm worried about being scammed
So thanks for the video But i got a question which is : Does the wig (the long ones ) comes down during the day wearing it or not im so afraid of that and if yes what should i do?! Or just it stays on !?
this wig i took off every night and did not sleep in it since it was synthetic. my Human hair wigs i sleep in since i glue them down for a week. This wig lasted about 3-5 months with straightening method
my hair is down the about the middle of my back and I would love to try different wigs just for fun, and in case I relapse and have to do chemo...I'm in remission now so my hair isnt a problem...but if my hair is down to the middle of my back does the clip back and clip up in back still work for that much hair?
There isn't any treatments to regrow or reverse whats happening with your hair? I love your attitude. I wasn't expecting this when I clicked on, but you are a gem. That's why God gave you eyes like diamonds.
i'm to the point where my hair has become very thin as well due to alopecia and stress and have been looking into finding an 'everyday' wig that i could throw on and be happy with. The way you 'threw on' yours here and looked amazing right away is what i'm hoping for. With lace front wigs however, how do you not have the 'lace line' so visible and everything? and how much should i expect to pay for a decent wig?
@claudiareislawl this one has combs on the sides and when i had hair i would lock the combs in on my head. now i use full lace wigs and glue them down for extra security
Thank you very much. I have never worn a wig. I was clipping them together lol. Now i know they are for size. Lol. Thanks again your tutorial is awesome.
Sis I need the link to that wig!!! It looks great for synthetic!! You're beautiful with or without a wig. I give you praise for getting on camera, some people would be ashamed. But you're gorgeous.

Hi I love the way you easily explain what and how to fix your hair.Do I have to use a wig cap?
No you don't have too. Some people use it to make a more natural look but for me it just falls off so I don't use one.
omg girl your very pretty wearing it , it looks natural on you :)
Could you please tell me where did you buy that wig? looks so natural,

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! You're VERY honest, brave, and sweet. Thank you for these videos. I know they are going to help a lot of people. God Bless You! ;)
I love your videos. It is always Fun to watch positive people.
thank you for being so bold. what about the for him wigs for men. would it wk the same?
if you didnt have the thinning hair problem, would you still wear wigs, or extensions?
The wig its sintetic or natural its very pretty ;) where you buy
hi! it is a nice vedio. but I would like to know where we can get those wigs
Damn the amount of people in the comments just hating on you. 😂 keep doing you boo at the end of the day they're still giving you that view 💜💜
who??
@@jlopez9228 u 10 years late chill
Thank you so much! That wig looks stunning on you. : ) I'm newly bald and figuring this whole 'wig thing' out. I blindly bought the first wig I really felt enamored with and realized I have no idea what I'm doing. lol
beautiful green eyes.. did u use contact lens?
if you use the combs to secure it you may have some slippage but you should be fine as long as you are doing anything very strenuous. best way to secure it is with a little tape just to make sure it stays put.
Have you tried (for the hairline issue) using makeup? Maybe like a powder or something. I've heard of some people doing that, but I wasn't sure how it would be possible without it getting on the wig.
I did wonder for a second with the head cap method. The second time you put it on it looked really good!!
You look great in this, thanks for your video. Can you please do a review on the "Julia" layered wig? I'm thinking of getting one.
Hi! Very helpful ;) BUT do the wig not fall off? How to strengthen? With clips??
Thank you for sharing. What are those clips called and where can I find them? Thank you!
just regular snap clips you can get at any store (walmart, target, cvs, etc.
Dear, can u please send me the link, from where you have purchased it?
Hi
I want to buy these 2 items.can u sugesst me where to buy.
Do you find the wigs feel more secure with the wig cap or is it just a psychological thing feeling the wig hold on to the cap better?
Thanks for this video...helped me decide on buying my 1st wig. My hair hadn't grown much since I last cut it but its still medium length. But I want to try different colors before I decide to color it again....!!!
Where u get that wig?infront looks very natural...I want it too...pls reply me,.
how do you take care of your wigs, do you wash them ?
m from india just have one question i watched your video please can u tell where do i get this wig
Get Jamaican black castor oil it will help it hair grow thick and long and it prevents split ends
I also have genetic hair loss and because my hairstylist is in quarantine, I purchased some wigs. Thanks for this.
You are so welcome!
Do it fall out easily. Is it good to buy. Plz reply
Great job thanks for your help with the wig....my hair is falling out bad and going to have it cut off short ,,,,you look great with the wig,,,,thanks again,
good video, you look good ! Question: putting it on from behind makes it less tangled maybe?
Thank you for this video. I wish I had a head shaped like yours. Your head shape is awesome! Really beautiful
One question, does it ever just fly out of your head due to wind conditions.etc???
So thanks for the video
But i got a question which is :
Does the wig (the long ones ) comes down during the day wearing it or not im so afraid of that and if yes what should i do?!
Or just it stays on !?
this wig i took off every night and did not sleep in it since it was synthetic. my Human hair wigs i sleep in since i glue them down for a week. This wig lasted about 3-5 months with straightening method
What kind of flat iron for synthetic wig??? How old is it??? How often is it washed?? Thankyou!😀
Hope it won't fly away wen de wind blows cos is it no glue?
my hair is down the about the middle of my back and I would love to try different wigs just for fun, and in case I relapse and have to do chemo...I'm in remission now so my hair isnt a problem...but if my hair is down to the middle of my back does the clip back and clip up in back still work for that much hair?
