You should also protect your video content by copyrighting the transcript which is your writings. Good luck to you and congrats on your new venture with RPG wigs as well as future ventures.

    When this beautiful woman said 1:36 "you can't expect it to look like a scalp, it's not a scalp" I had a really humbling moment. It literally takes me hours to get ready because I have to look absolutely perfect. it's actually all really delusional. I have been racking my brain as to why I can't get the lace front perfect it's always flawed and I get mad at myself because I'm naturally talented with my hands and the fact that I haven't mastered it was really bothering me. But when she said that I realized I'll waste a lot of my life chasing perfection if I don't change. I know this is only a hair tutorial but I think I was supposed to hear those words from you Queen. Bless you and thank you for your content 🙏🏾

      WOW. It’s like you literally jumped into my brain. Thank you for letting me know it’s okay not to be perfect all the time. ❤

      You literally took the words out of my mouth. I’ve never seen any of her other videos. I just happened to click on it today and it was the exact thing I needed to hear. I’ve been spending so much money and so much time trying to get it perfect and believing into all the hype of being able to get it perfect but the truth is you can’t, it’s not my own hair. I appreciate your comment and this video so much. This is what I needed to hear. I’ve been so hard on myself for having to face reality of needing to wear wigs, but it’s been just as hard feeling like I’m the only person that can’t figure out how to make it look natural and beating myself up over it. Sorry for writing a novel but I I just wanted to say thank you.

      I'm new to lace wigs and installs. When Ms. Precious Marie said that let me just say that it was a RELIEF to hear that! Now I know that I don't have to be absolutely perfect and what it is I do do to help hide the lace will be good enough. It's helped me to relax now and have fun with hair. (I have female hair loss so I need to buy my hair because apparently I can't grow my own. LOL)

      You nailed it so hard with this comment! I’ve been almost in tears because like you said I was blaming myself because I’ve almost always been able to make something out of nothing . Thank you for this comment and thank you to the this video I really really hope it gets to someone who needs it so they can take a deep breath and try to find the joy in the creativity of this craft again because it is an art form in my opinion and some of you women are amazing at it!! . ❤❤

    I’ve never seen any of your other videos and I’ve never written a comment to any video on YT before, but I just happen to click on this today and you’ve really made it impact for what you said and the tutorial itself is so helpful. Having to wear wigs is new to me and it’s been really hard trying to figure it out ways to make it look natural and getting so frustrated and angry that I can’t get it right and making it that much more painful that my health issues have caused so much hair loss making me have to turn to wearing wigs in the first place. This whole transition has been difficult but this tutorial has been incredibly helpful. Thank you for your time and honesty. I wish all these other influencers would stop pretending that you can make it look like it’s 100% your own hair. Because people like me who is new to wigs and desperate to try to look like myself again believe it and can’t figure Out why I cant make it look natural too. It makes you really beat yourself up in an already difficult and self defeating situation. I’m going to subscribe to your channel. Sorry for writing you a long novel. I just wanted to let you know you’ve made a huge difference for me in this situation and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you.

    THANK YOU for the honesty!!! I’ve been spending $$$$ on wigs and experimental things and getting so frustrated, staying up into the morning hours driving myself crazy trying to get it better then it’s going to get. A big part of that issue is that the people making the videos are making it seem unrealistic and I’m am assuming it’s because they get kick backs from the companies. It’s so disappointing I could have saved at least $1000 if I had found your video a couple weeks ago. However you have saved my sanity so thank you so much. ❤❤

    Depending on the hair, cut my lace with either the scallop and wavy edge scissors and it slays. There is not even line, can't tell it's a wig at all because the edges are unnoticeable.

    Thank you for saying that bit about it's only going to look as natural as what you paid for. I've been struggling to get my lace front wig to lay down my head. I adjusted it to be smaller last night and it did help a lot but I've been struggling because I'm a first-time wig user. Thank you for sharing these because also, I've been struggling with trying to hide the lace. At least now I know that it's not really nice so much doing anything wrong as it's just the wig that I bought. Thanks for making me feel better about myself by letting me know that it's not me, it's the wig.

      MsPreciousMarie thank you, maybe i'll give it a try but i already dyed my knots & added a piece of fabric that matches my scalp. I don't see a difference from what i normally do...doesn't hurt to try though. I like the powder thing cause I put powder on the part but not on the parameter..add a bit of hair spray after adding the powder it makes it last longer...make sure is the one that don't turn white.

    Thank you, you are so on point when you stated that it is a wig and we need to be realistic about trying to make it look like it's not! Very hard to do with lace wigs. If you want to get a realistic scalp try thin skins or silicone wigs. cost more but you get what you pay for!

    Really good thanks. I have the issue of being extremely pale white skin and very dark brunette so you can imagine my lace wig hairline is hard to look natural. I am going to follow the tip to use a very fair mineral powder foundation i no longer use and build it all along the front hairline. I hope it works!! Thx again for such a great detailed video your wig looked amazing 🤩

    Hi Loves! I wanted to share a "cheaper" way to hide the grids on your lace wigs. Yes.. there are other options .. but those can be a bit pricey. And I am sure you ladies can appreciate saving some money 💰❤Also check description box for lots of helpful links👌🏽

    Thank you soooooo much for this video! I am a beginning youtuber and making wigs look natural seems to only look natural in pics and on film. In person the flaws are too noticeable. Even on some professional installs. This gives me another way to try and execute a more natural look in person not just on camera. Thanks again!!!!

      MsPreciousMarie can you link a video on how you bleach your knots as well as how you tint your knots as well. And can you tell the difference between the two or do a video showing both process and going in depth about the 2. Thank you!

    I love it! I’ve been trying to find another way to make my grids in the front not show when I have a middle part bc I don’t like doing that method with the cap where you stretch it and cut it and glue it down. I’m definitely going to try this. Thank you!

    I plan to bleach my knots over winter break, but for now I just use a light eyeshadow that somewhat lightens the lace. It works for the time being. I don't have concealer and don't plan to buy one in the future so I just use my powder. I put a bunch of it in the part I'm currently working with, and near the front all the way across. It's not perfect and it's not meant to be, but it's just a little something to get by.

    can this technique be done with a synthetic wig?

    • @jazzcatt
      @jazzcatt 6 років тому +2

      I sure don't see why not! The only difference in a human hair wig and a synthetic is the individual hair fibers.

  • @sheraww2718
    @sheraww2718 6 років тому

    Ty very much! Very helpful. Also solved my other dilemma about the darker lace on the ready synthetic lace fronts. I’m very light and the lace is always darker unless customized so I believe this will help with that. Applying my very light cap onto the wig.

  • @Trinii1
