Funny Story: Had a 1st date with a 6'4 man and my wig was sliding back the whole evening. I had bangs so I didn't notice. He kissed me goodbye in a romantic fashion (tight embrace rubbing my back) and bloop, the wig fell off onto the ground. I hurried to pick it up and put it back on using my car window as a mirror. So embarrassed! That's why I'm here 🤣🤣🤣

The other day, I wore my wig with your ideas. My twin came over just wearing her wig with a wig cap, it blew off in the wind. I caught the wig, the cap flew in another direction and the car driver that stopped just laughed his head off. Thankfully I had purchased for my sister the silicone wig grip and now she can feel secure.

Thank you for this video! I'm new to wig wearing, and with the vast amount of wig videos out on the internet... it's been crazy difficult to find a straight forward instructional guide on wig cap & wig grip placement, as well as how to use the metal stays in a wig! I paid a lot for my first wig. It's a Raquel Welch full mono top and I love it, but I've been struggling to keep in on. My bio-hair is so thin & baby fine that netting wig caps/liners ride up & pop off, ending up in a wad up inside my wig! I've tried velvet wig grips but they're HOT (as you mentioned) and they also slide off my head. I'm going to get the silicone "Wig Fix" band and see if I can work with that. I cannot tell you enough how much I appreciate this video! It was the best I've found for REAL helpful information for a newbie wig wearer. THANKS SO MUCH!

Thanks for the tip of that double strip wig stopper. Thanks so much for this tutorial. I was brushing my wigs. I know about the backsliding wig. I play the organ and once had to hold my neck stiff like that was gonna stop it from walking to the back of my head.🤣🤣🤣

Thank you. I'm getting ready for brain surgery for a severe seizure disorder, and will have all of my hair shaved off. I bought my first wig yesterday, and I'm scared that it won't look natural. Sounds like a long process to prepare your head for a wig! Once the surgical staples are healed, I'll be ready to wear one.

Thank you for this. I’m interested in this beautiful red wig you’re wearing. Which wig is it and you have it for sale? Also, I don’t know why but my head is 23 inches yet every single wig cap I’ve ever tried slides back underneath the wig even when I use bobby pins and snap clips and everything else. I do have thick hair underneath

You need an adjustable grip. It won't move unless you move it.

You try the velcro grip? Make sure you wig cap is not too close to the grip. As the cap recedes it will cause the grip to recede as well.

Oh thank you so much. I have bought everything to keep my wig on but I have to use a ton of sticky glues. My wig caps slide off. I bought at least 6 of the bands, they slid off too. I had to glue and use about 10 Bobby pins. I have the full silicone bands and the velvet bands but nothing worked. I loved the 4 finger trick.
