Hey Nick, is there a new way to do the triggered decal crackle tune without needing to ride the throttle at all for K-Pro? I like the idea of being able to enable and disable it but I'd prefer a way of not having to ride the throttle on decel at all. Ty man!
I see fuel compensation is above the ignition compensation where you set the negative values. What would happen if we put positive values in fuel compensation as well? Would that just cause extreme rich conditions? Extra unburnt fuel in the exhaust?
I know this is old but could you do a little intro into fuel trims and stuff i know this is for kpro but i have a 9th gen with flashpro but everything is always crack and pop tunes no1 goes into a real tune. My wot fuel is really rich
No matter how I adjust my launch control or pop tune it won’t go under -10 timing, is there something that could be causing that, any help is appreciated
I used my cruse control button as the switch. It works perfect. But for some reason my ac stopped working, when I engaged the switch and decel to make the pops and crackes, my ac switch in constantly turning off and on. Any fix on this????
I really wish my tuner (Gear Head) offer this. I want the crackles when I am select sport, manual (using paddle shifters) mode only in that combination. No crackles while in sport auto or any other mode. My tune is encrypted so I can't run two tunes at once 😭 Do you think my sport, manual mode could be set up just the same way you did the trigger?
Hello crack, I have managed to do the whole process with the 2 videos of your channel, but I have a problem that I do not know how to solve, when I cut the vtc cable and make it act as a switch, a pressure failure is generated in vtc and the ecu goes into failure mode and does not exceed 4000rpm, I can not leave the work done for that problem, I do not know how I could fool the ecu so that it does not realize that I cut the cable. All the best. Juanra.
@@tuningbynick I have already achieved it, thank you very much, avia that disconnecting the vtec oil pressure switch from hondata, charging the flash and then cutting the cable, if you cut it before indicating to hondata that you want to turn it off, you create the fault. Now my question is, can I have a problem for having the vtec oil pressure switch disconnected, the cable that is cut that I suppose that goes to the switch should connect it to ground or it simply remains loose, my model is a civic ep3 k20a2. Thanks. A hug friend. Greetings from Spain.
Hi I have a 2005 facelift uk ep3 K20A2 with a PRA ecu with KPRO 4. what is the best wire to wire my switch to B9 E16 E22 E29 or is there a better wire it arm it. thank you
Technically you could try that - You would have to wire in the clutch switch to the ECU ad a ground input because on RSX its not wired to the ECU from factory
This would be the best way if you didn’t have to feather the gas on deceleration. The other method makes way louder pops. wish there was a way to use the first method with the switch
Check out the video at about 6:40 - Technically its not important what VTP is showing. What's important is if your chosen input is responding - Watch how mine responds when i test it in that section of the video - When i test it, my input shows on and VTP shows off
Great video, you can play on occasion. Thanks
Keep them coming !
Can you do a clip of how to get the closed loop and settings set up??
for sure - i can include that in an upcoming video
I love your videos !
dude your the man nick!, im experimenting with a built k24 turbo, this is super cool. youve taught me hella alresdy
Glad I could help

This is fantastic
Yo this is getting deep. Keep the videos going bro 👌
Love it!
Amazing
An aggressive 2step video would be good!
Christos Mazmanidis I asked him recently and he replied saying soon maybe next week
Next week
These vids are fantastic man, keep up the good work!
Thanks - Will do, have some more that'll be coming out soon

Thanks!
I want to do this through my cruise control button, but don't really want to cut up my wiring harness. Wish there was another way
Yes! 👌🏻

Nvm, I fixed it. Just set the output control in nitrous 1 to evap vent.
U do Remote tuning
Is there any way you can turn the crackle map on and off to save gas or just be less obnoxious?

Would it be possible to wire the ground for this through the cruise control button?
Yes - Technically any switch can be used, you just need to make one one goes to the ecu and one wire goes to ground
Is this possible with a non-type s Acura rsx?
yes - pretty much the same process - just need a kpro or a ktuner
how do i adjust my A/F? its at 10.70

Hi. I hope you mean VTP not VTC.
You need to uncheck the “vtec oil pressure switch” in the vtec options. If you use the VTP wire for this.

Hi Nick, is it possible to set crackle pop when car Stationary Rev??
Just like Audi RS4 RS4..
That ground wire would that be connected to a flip switch that you can mount anywhere in the car?
Sam Han yes exactly. Sorry I didn’t do a better job explaining that
Tuning by Nick That was a great video. I just needed clarification on that part.

so i used B9 and i get error code p1259
Turn off the error check for the VTEC pressure switch
Would it be possible to use the clutch switch as an input? I feel like that would be easier, rest on the clutch lightly during decel

Dude I'd love restore your headlights 💪
Orange Peel I wouldn’t say no
How much would a remote tune be for a 2.0t accord with ktuner v2 for flames
shoot me an email and we can discuss - nick@tuningbynick.com
Hi nick I'm struggling to get my switch input working. Can I ask why in your video your vtp switch is showing as on all the time? Confused.

Hey nick, Thanks for the video! I saw your working on your 2 step video, will that be for kpro, ktuner, or both? (Im hoping Kpro)
Im doing it for Kpro first - if there is enough interest i can do for ktuner as well - I should have the kpro video out soon
Is it normal to get cel from vtc pressure switch?
you just need to disable that code
🔥🔥🔥
Can it be done with ktuner?
Yes it can
@@tuningbynick do you have a contact email?
nice video! could you make a 2 step bang bang ak47 video!? :D
im working on the 2 step video - it will be the next one
