    Hi just looking for some more deatailed explaination which is ur gragh looks smoothly satisfied but the stock ignition map looks like mass. So why'd they do ignition map like that? is that a proper reason why they did the map up and down instead of a nice smooth straight line or is it related with the vtec or cam angle or what. Thats what in curious about, thx!

    Excuse my ignorance man, but on the high ignition side are you supposed to copy and paste at all degrees like you did on the low side?

    • @staticspeedtuning
      @staticspeedtuning  9 місяців тому +2

      Yes! I’m glad you mentioned that because I forgot to mention that. Yes all ignition maps should match for all of the cam angles such as 0,10,20,30,40

      @staticspeedproductions8087 awesome thank you for replying. I used to have non vtec d and b series cars that I would tune using crome.
      But the k series is a whole different ball game so I'm very excited to see what you have in store for content.
      I've been very slowly working on my fuel tables on my 8th gen but don't know where to start with ignition and vtc angles 😅

    Question, if i have a jdm k24a swap from an 08 tsx what should i put in the model for a new calibration in flashspro? Can i still put 2008 civic si? I dont see a tab for jdm tsx 2.4 so im curious, also would this tune work for that motor?

    I don’t understand the theory behind this, so you have the ball park timing for WOT but interpolation just draws a line. There should be specific timings for each RPM?

    Hi I have a quick question? What if we start off with the first steps you provide and after opening “Ignition Low” the graph shows lines crossing and everything is all over the place? I just want to know haha is it ok to continue with following your steps because at the end of making the changes it will be better off anyway? Please help.

    • @staticspeedtuning
      @staticspeedtuning  3 місяці тому

      If there’s a bunch of crossed over lines then you most likely didn’t copy the tables to all cam angles like the video. I would try rewatching and trying again

      @@staticspeedtuning I was meaning before doing your turn. I had the K&N CAI, race headers, cat exhaust map on hondata and looked at the graph before using your video notice the graph was like up & downs & everywhere, now after your video everything straightened out and the car runs way better. What I’m trying to say it runs smooth and before it really kinda sucked. I just want to say great video and nice how a simple trick can contain a lot of knowledge and very easy to understand. Your video is 5 out of 5 for sure. Thanks for the video.

      @@staticspeedtuning hello, just wanted to say thanks for part 2 just going to try it. Quick question if you could please help. I have started to autotune and used this first video and the car felt ok, now will continue with part 2 with autotuning fuel h&l, maybe will autotune apart the ignition tables as well. If that sounds ok? My question is when checking Use speed/density (MAP) fuel tables do you recommend having checked (off) AFM enabled because it would be better? Cuz I don’t want to have it checked on and it not be the better/correct option to follow. Please help I would really appreciate it by the way I would be interested in a tune but kinda difficult because I live so far out and payment would be a bit complex.. thought just for me to mention.

    • @staticspeedtuning
      @staticspeedtuning  3 місяці тому

      Auto tuning does not work very well and if you don’t have the right values entered in for target values it definitely won’t work well. It doesn’t matter if you have afm enabled or not it doesn’t affect the tuning if you’re using map tables. But I do all my tunes remotely and take lots of different payment methods. Even if you’re not in the U.S. I can take bitcoin too. Dm me on Instagram
