whenever I want to learn a concept in 10 minutes or less with no extraneus BS and subtle cutting humor I go to your videos. Nice job. Keep them coming!
Hi Mr MZopyrus! Im a learning auto mechanic student and i just have to express my humble thanks to you for making these quality, informitive videos about cars, tools etc. So good quality, informative videos! You allso tend to get in deeper with the details and all the graphs etc really helps and makes a very good informative package! And lots of litle and bigger things i did not know, or understand but now do, all thanks to you sir! You sir deserve much love and followers indeed! All the best for you! Liked and subbed, cheers!
Focus on the small basic things before diving into Tuning ECUs. I'm a 3rd year Auto Technician apprentice I can tell you No qualified mechanic likes having a student wanting to run before they can walk. Learn what the things are first. Then learn how they work. Only when you understand how the whole system works you can understand why it does what it does & how to then change it. Without blowing it all up.
Hey thanks for your Videos. Understánding these tables with Fuel Ignition and Air are very helpful and easy to understand. Your way to talk to the camera are very cool and real. Thx for your work. Driving BMW E46 325Xi Stock ECU.
Great explanation, really appreciate it. I'm driving a Jeep Sahara with the 3.6 Pentastar and I've installed an Edelbrock Supercharger, running the Edelbrock tune. She runs great and dyno'd 330 to the rear wheels (manual transmission) with 33" tires but she needs a bit more growl. Still has stock intake and exhaust, so looking at an axle back to open it some and maybe a small amount of burble to seal the deal.
At the risk of showing my age, I vividly remember the slow cars at Le Mans in 1978 were the ones that made all the noise. Blam.....blam..... blamblamblam on the overrun into the chicane, and then way more noise coming out. The really fast cars: the Alpine Renaults and the Martini Porsches were comparatively quiet. Sometimes it felt like all you could hear was the turbo whine as they went past with a whoosh.
My VW Bug has the BEST Burbles compared to...... Just kiddin'. I don't have a Bug; however, I ain't kiddin' about my C6 Corvette. She was set up for Track Days and runnin' NA and 535hp to the ground she growls, bites and "Burbles" quite well. Especially since I have exhaust cutouts. Love the content, Broba Fett! 🍺
I had a v6 Audi Q8. Had the catalytic converter and the silencer taken off and put a custom encaustic and omg it sounds amazing! Having a stage 1 tune installed next week and am getting so pop and gurgles added to it as well :]
Amazing video man! Really clear, my boxster 981 with PSE does bang and pop so sweetly I really struggle to find a better sounding car on the market. But learning now that this can actually be programmed to match one's personal taste, mind blowing! Thanks
I have a Nissan 370z that had intake and exhaust mods done to improve flow efficiency and then a dyno tune to optimize the F/A ratios and ignition timing across the rev range. I didn't ask for but I got a very slight burble tone that occurs sometime on deceleration. I have to admit that it does sound good and is apparently not damaging the engine or catalytic converter, so I'm not going to change it. I think the main drawback is that it's causing to use a little more gas than it normally would. Stock, the engine was so quiet that you could hardly tell it was running unless you were looking at the tachometer.
Bro, my first time watching your channel and let me tell you 🤗that you are direct and straight to the point covering all angles. ✅️ 💯Great information and encouraging. Keep it up bro.
Great video dude. Explaining fast and in very understandable way, i dont see why would we dislike the video when u teach us so much. And also to mention my car has Stage1 + pops bangs and it is awesome. And of course its a VW 🤣
I have a ‘24 X3 M Comp. I added a JB4, Dinan axel back and resonator delete. Cold start is great but has almost no engine noise until the upper RPMs. Some say I need down pipes to get the sound I want, but I think that I will still be throwing a dart without a true ECU tune. Thoughts? Experience? Thanks
Bro I like your videos your videos is very knowledgeable and I'm also in field but my dream is tuning bro thanks for you sharing your knowledge with us and and thanks again .🙃
Great video!! Thank you very much! Curious about one thing, with BMWs since they introduced OPF exhaust filters for the EU cars and then for US spec cars the amount of pops and burbles front the stock exhaust pretty much disappeared. There’s a video here on UA-cam where they compare a 2020 to a 2021 M340i where you can clearly ear the difference. Does the OPF filter has this side effect?
I did this using hondatas fk8 burble tune addition as of the recent update. I’m fbo and noticed that when driving the car itself has an interesting rev hang. It has two stages when tuning, type S oem sound or full ak47 slaughterhouse mode (i made the name up). The question i guess i have is, for tuning the fk8s what’s the long term effect if it’s subtle and set to a low burble. I’m also using an off the shelf tune with phareable at stage 2 and paid for the revisions. I’m a dumbass with tuning and i applaud those that have an amazing understanding of how to tune.
2014 Veloster Turbo - they started doing it from the factory with the N in 2019, so it’s mostly just modernizing it. Imo, the N’s 2.0L theta is great if you’re going to do little or no work, but the 1.6L Gamma actually has a much higher horse power ceiling.
Something for thought, instead of completely disabling fuel cut, set the timer higher. If it’s at 0.4seconds, put it at 1.5, then it can burble for 1.5seconds and stop
rom raider ftw. my s52 sounded gnaaaaaarly in the early 2000s. fun fact, the new g series mx40i cars , they burble hard in sport+ the cats just hide it. if you put a catless exhaust with cutouts its already gnarly sock. my m240i with a locked ecu used to sound like gunshots and the downshift overrev from the factory is enough to make it spit and pop. the tuning programs only make the oem burbles louder/longer. i have mine tuned out now so it only makes one pop between gearshifts and its very rb26ish. reccomend all my bmw brothers get rid of popcorn and use the shift cut to show off instead.
Any ideas on if the Stock ECU on the 86/BRZ will do Spark cut? Or is it only Fuel cut? How do V8 Supercars get their signature flames out the exhaust? Is that just fuel dumping in and burning slowly opposed to detonating in the exhaust?
Vw Golf R mk6. It's more like a pop and bang instead of a high pitch crackle. My is not crazy loud it's like and couple of pop pop pop. Tune is Integrated Engineering Stg2 pro with the Intake manifold. It's nice.
I'm about to fiddle with this using an OpenFlash tablet + RomRaider software on my 2010 NC2 Mazda MX-5 Miata - MZR/Duratec LFVD - 5spd. Process seems fairly simple and can be tested in tiny increments to insure both safety on the engine as well as tastefulness ;) My big question is; is this (a modest burble tune like shown in your video) going to severely decrease the effective lifespan of my upstream o2/lambda sensor?
5:30 This sounds like you glossed over something really dangerous here, Doesn't this mean that if you go past redline there won't be a fuel cutoff? or I'm understanding it wrong?
hi i think you good at explaining turning stuff ok i am going to tune my a6 c5 2.7t add more boost and i won't my engine get into detonation so i need things cooled so what afr i have to set 11.5 or 10.5
Seems like you know much about ecu. If you have an engine light on from an ecu tune that didn’t compensate for catless down pipes and you just clear the engine light for thermostat using a regular obd. Can this damage the engine?
I was on my way to get tuned and watched this ..not saying it discourage me just made me do more research..my question will be is the tune worth it ..and if so should I go dyno or remote the dyno near me tune without maps and the other gives one map with the low price..im on hfc long tube intakes and full catback ..pls help lol
I have a 2016 FBO Gs 350 catless ppe headers, invidia axle back, takeda cai, upgraded spark plugs. And im workin on a couple more things like a throttlebody from a tundra and upgraded coils but i was wondering if this stuff alone can create a small burble, it literally sounds like a get small burbles on decel now
That being said, if my car comes from factory with burbles and i remove burbles, would my cylinder head go through more heat? Does it make my cooling worse? (I’m tuned on mhd)
Hey great video man! I've been playing around with this for my 86 and I've got the the point of even messing with the Direct Injection timing, I retarded it so much that it sprays AFTER spark, so it doesn't even ignite in the cylinder, and it actually sprays during the exhaust stroke so it goes straight out the cylinder, igniting in the exhaust and giving a huge gunshot and fireball! agree
damnm your videos are waaaaay simple to understand bro, and english its not even my first language(im from brazil). thanks a lot for the knowledge
Thanks! English isn't my first language either! We're on the same boat 😁
@@MZopyrusYou speak very well to me 👍
@@MZopyrus I wouldn't have guessed that by listening to you talk! This is my first video of yours I've watched, but i Def will be subbing
Thanks, DJ Khaled!

Great video man as usual, simple and entertaining would be happy if you are consistent
I would love to see a collab with MZ and Alex Martini so bad. The amount of knowledge the two could drop would be insane!

can u guide me plesee, i wanna catch this path
I watched video 1 on ECU tunning and then this and I must say, this has greatly helped me understand the tables thanks so much bro
These are the best vids on UA-cam. Easily explained. Nicely done mate. Looking forward to next ones. Keep up the good work. A++
I want the burble tune on my 1999 Toyota Corolla 1.6 4AFE EFI engine 😂
You're a great job MZ
Damn, really liking this EXPLAINED video series.

I just found this channel and watched every single video, need more
can you explain mid muffler deletes next time please, i love this series a lot and your way of interpreting everything 🤍🙏🏼
Another wicked video as always! Keep up the good work my man!
thanks for the content my man, and also thank you for trying to convince the tuner kids that the crazy crackle burble hurts our soul

Loved this!!!!!
Explained everything i wanted to know and exactly how i needed it explained!!!!
You rock thank you so much!!!
Great work buddy, love the way you explain things
This is great. Start a series on cheap/most efficient mods to increase hp. Insurance don’t like 6Cyls or petrols with any power standard 😂

Just burble tuned my 2021 STi by TunedByWali with a Cobb catted DP, Cobb SF intake, and 3-port BC. Loving it so far!
Thanks homie !!! More videos when you can! You kill it !!!!!
I appreciate it mannn
Makes sense, but the heat reduced from the pistons will affect the exaust valves right ?
how is it better ?
Please more of those videos. Thank you!
guys he’s not kidding
actual informative content, looking forward for more
Underrated channel man
Make a video on engine cooling, ways to make it better and different methods to improve on factory systems👍🏾

Bro you need to put out content more often you starving us over here fam!😭
Does leaving the resonator affect the burble on a mini R56? I removed the resonator and it drones now, but the burble and pop is amazing.
great video , my biggest problem is the ECU . Having an Obd2b , looks like it's not tunable

BMW owner. Definitely looking into exhaust and tuning options for my E63 M6, since I'm pretty sure I have the last one on earth with stock exhaust
Hes BACK!!!
Hello, will it damaged my car, if it will be fine line as u saying? Also how to do STK control after this modification?
How didn't I know about this channel 💯

Does it hurt the engine? Is its the wame.withop corn and pops and bangs. Do that tunrs hurt the engine
Just caused my oil to burn in my S4 needing more oil and sooner oil changes
its a very fine line... I drive an B9.5 S5, all stock dont really want burble simply cause all the tunes i see with them cross that line
You’re awesome dude love your content
I’m thinking about burble tuning my 2004 Volkswagen Jetta 1.8t . Thought ??😅😅😅
Gonna try to get a small burble tune on a 4g eclipse, I’ll send you a video when the time finally comes.
Awesome video! You should make a video about you though. How do you know the stuff that you know. Origin story(?)
Ive got an rsx I just turboed it gets pretty hot and Ive done a good job at keeping it in control but if I can keep it cooler even better
Thank you for this video. Your advice give me some answer the way to tune bubble tuned. I will use your way to do so. Thank you sir. appreciate this.
Now I’m going to watch all the videos
hey! when does a new video about the project miata come out? keep up the good work!!
The pro exhaust for JCW makes by mini sound amazing on the 2020 countryman S ALL4
This is new to me, I’m wondering if my gla 35 can pull it off with a tasteful burble sound
Do u have to remap your ecu if u put a Cobbs tune
Great video, good explanation! Thank you.
That M2 was really nice and subtle
Any ideas on if the Stock ECU on the 86/BRZ will do Spark cut? Or is it only Fuel cut?

How did u do it with romraider
What influences the difference between the type of pops you get? I noticed some goes “vroom blub blub blub” and some goes “vroom…..BANG”
5:30 This sounds like you glossed over something really dangerous here, Doesn't this mean that if you go past redline there won't be a fuel cutoff? or I'm understanding it wrong?
I would say I'd like to ✨️toone✨️ an E46 M3 CSL... It's just "Simply Lovely".
hi i think you good at explaining turning stuff ok i am going to tune my a6 c5 2.7t add more boost and i won't my engine get into detonation so i need things cooled so what afr i have to set 11.5 or 10.5
Im trying to get this for my Abarth 500 competizione, but its already loud but i want it just a bit more 😅. Think i should do it?
Is this burble tuning also possible for Diesel cars?
Not really, but it can sound pretty good. This is the tune I'm going for on my my MK6 ua-cam.com/video/onBkIdQLqRc/v-deo.html
Great job MZ 👍
Already have a tcu and ecu tune on my 2018 Audi q5, looking for a burble tune currently
such a great video man
Seems like you know much about ecu. If you have an engine light on from an ecu tune that didn’t compensate for catless down pipes and you just clear the engine light for thermostat using a regular obd. Can this damage the engine?
Yooo i saw your turbo video 2 years ago, do you think you can make one for installing your own twin turbos?
I have a question..a lot of people tell me that to make a burbles tune you need a down pipe. Is it true? If not do you damage your car?
great video love to see the next
I’m planning to tune the royal enfield interceptor for burble what do you suggest since I’m a newbie
What software would be better to use if I have an Audi S4? And what type of cable do I need?
Does Ethanol mix clean the exhaust with a burble tune? My car got quieter with E30 mix after a full tank.
great video!
i was thinking about tuning my bike, but then you warned not to if you don't know what you're doing kkk
I have a 2016 FBO Gs 350 catless ppe headers, invidia axle back, takeda cai, upgraded spark plugs. I rly do t want extreme agressive burbles, just a nice subtle aggression of the car
Im think of having tiny bit or none on Comfort, and a semi agression on Sport. For thebduration of Burbles i wouldnt exceed 2 seconds. Is this healthy for engine longevity and exhaust system? Or should i go even lower in terms of duration time?
I’m tryna get the cooling effect mire than the cool sound tbh i’m more into longevity and taking car of the beast ❤️
everywhere on the internet is see ignition tables with positive degree values. I assume 0° is tdc. But if i pull up some stock backups from BMW M52 ECUs there are negative values like -28 at low rpm. Why's that?
