Josh is such a good salesman that I watched this video and went straight out and got myself... a glass of cold milk. These pedals do sound nice though.
My Bloody Valentine are simply my favorite ever. Together with Sonic Youth and The Cure they are the bands who broke into my teenage life, turned my world upside down and shaped my music tastes so far.
The JHS Show is far and away my favorite thing to watch! Expertise everywhere, talent galore, amazing editing, the most comical dry humor and of course some of the most bestest pedals out there! Thank you JHS team for your continued content (and product) output!
I'm excited about the pedals, specifically the Hall Reverb. I love the shoegaze jams and the MBV record! I would love to see a shoegaze pedalboard episode!
I appreciate the balance JHS is striking here. An expensive, nerdy overdrive is followed by 3 inexpensive basic effects. And all of it would have a place on many pedalboards. And top-notch free content for all of it. It’s almost ministry work 🤣.
As a sales guy in a guitar store these pedals have been great. They look so clean side by side in the cabinet, people pick the one the one they really like since they’re all the same price and beginners and pros both love em. The 3 Delay is my new favourite slap echo, probably won’t be leaving my board for a while. Keep new 3 series pedals coming!!
@NDlanding I’m sure you can come up with something man. It’s $99…… so plenty of money left to buy some different knobs if you really can’t remember your pedal order. Plus I doubt there are a whole lot of pedal boards that are entirely 3 series…. Get creative dude!
@@Rarebirdeffects My mummy says that pedals should be easily distinguishable. Being creative, I'd say: "volcanic pudenda over quivering knees does not a picnic make."
Dig your channel. Just got my first series 3 pedal, the fuzz pedal. Blown away. Great quality lots of good and usable sounds. Putting together a second board to travel light. To play with friends. Definitely gonna be all series 3. Quality and price are outstanding. Keep up the great shows
Are we not gonna comment on how consistently brilliant the snare sound is on this channel? I trust these guys making pedals. Anyone who obsesses over collecting every single edition and revision of every historic pedal, clearly has a good understanding of pedals. Plus everything on this channel always sounds awesome.
I bought your 3 series compressor and it rocks. Kevin shields is a genius and shoegaze may not be everyone’s jam but it’s unique and full of emotion. Just stellar work.
Thank you for mentioning "Bootcamp" I've loved the tones in that song for a long time and rarely hear it referenced. Well done. The pedals sound great as well. Thank you for existing.
The infinite hall reverb for under $100 is pretty goddamn crazy. The way the highs and mids fade off and leave this sweet, low rumble is just beautiful. BRAVO!
Edit: When will we see the JHS "It's just 3 cups of coffee" shirt, with Nick's "WHERE are YOU buying your COFFEE!?" on the sleeve? Sign me up for the first one.
The proud owner of a 3 Series OD (set to baked crisps) and Reverb, I just wanted two pedals to do those jobs….I love the 3 series so much I had a T Shirt shipped all the way from Kansas to the UK!
$99 you say? made in Kansas City you say? Hall reverb you say? you don't say. ordered. love the 3 series aesthetic as well. Josh your a pretty ok guitarist, go eat something. Nick, your grooves and drum mix are perfect. thank you for being pretty awesome jhs
I appreciate your demos more than other people because you play the pedals in a band setting with reverbs and other effects, which is how they’ll be used in the real world. No one is playing phaser just by itself.
Josh's thoughts during the awkward pause after comparing the Choruses and Flangers to milk: "Oh, I know some people don't like milk." Looks at second camera. "I don't care."

Josh!! Loved the new pedals!! My favorite was the Hall Reverb. Nick! Fantastic off camera comments, as always Aaaand amazing jacket!! Thank you all at JHS. Love watching every week.
I bought a 3 series delay to try delay for the first time. Absolutely love it, definitely recommend the 3 series pedals if you are on the fence about one. Inexpensive way to try new effects and they are quality so if you like it you will have it forever.
Hey, long time listener, first time caller. I watched this and just had to get that hall reverb!! It's on discount right not now until 12/4 on Reverb by $10(a hidden bonus)
Thanks Josh and his team! For making a range that enables us poor people to buy and support such a great company, that is JHS, love the series 3 pedals👍🙏🎸
I like the Series 3 reverb I already got. As you said, it was my way to get into JHS pedals. The way you add a switch to each pedal that does something extra is cool. It reminds me of Wazacraft.
JHS is a company I undeniably love but I've never had the chance/money to use. I've lived outside of the states and as I approach my commercial debut as an artist I try to reason to my family what JHS pedal is worth the economic distribution. AND AT THE END OF THE DAY, they fucking all are. I don't have any JHS pedals but I trust these demos more than anything else and I can't wait to be a solid contributor to the praise they rightly deserve
Ok.. I’m getting the JHS flanger, and phaser… oh hell lemme pick up a Pack Rat and Bonsai pedal as well. Josh take my money! Love your shows and appreciate the love for other manufacturers 💯🤘🏾
Bootcamp is an amazing song. I remember when I heard it for the first time. Stopped me dead in my tracks and I just stood there and listened. And then I played it again. Rip Chris Cornell. GOAT.
Not a pedal nerd. Don't own many but I enjoy the commentary and the history behind his and other manufacturers' pedals. But I find myself coming here more and more for the jams! Tasty stuff. If my life had commercials I'd want Josh to write the jingles.
Great record one of my new favorites for sure. I am rebuilding my pedal board. Ya I’m gonna need a lot of luck 🍀 I’m venturing into new territory. My music is going into a new direction. I am excited to see where this adventure leads. Thank you Josh for all your in puts.
The Hall Reverb is absolutely perfect for the application that I use it for. I play metal, and my dry rhythm tone is highly distorted, but it's round and dark sounding(my preference). The JHS Hall Reverb has a really nice top-end sizzle on the tail of the echos. So for leads/solos, I get a some nice color and space, but with a nice top-end boost that transforms my dark rhythm tone into a bright, cutting lead tone, but it still retains some of the bottom-end warmth that I love.
Ok I love my grand orbiter, but I totally want this phaser. Totally different animal and I could see a lot of uses. I used to have a phase 100 and loved it. Would love to get similar tones again.
If I would have a band and play funk/jazz/soul/rock/r&b/industrial/hardrock/punk/reggae/disco/blues/country/pop/indie rock/you name it - I would love to have Nick as a drummer! he nails all of it and that in a very special way.
My Bloody Valentine is the reason I play guitar. I heard Loveless for the first time 30 years ago and it still knocks my socks off every single time. Seriously. Kevin Shields and co. owe me SO MANY SOCKS.i
I have not bought any 3 series pedals, yet. So I don't know if you do, but if you don't, you guys really should throw some "suggested graphics" stickers in the box. There's a big empty space on the front of those pedals. Plenty of space for graphics. So tossing in some stickers is a good way to give them some optional character and inspire people to get a bit creative with them.
The hall reverb sounds shockingly great in person. If it had the ability to fade out when disengaged i’d be keeping mine. for the price it’s phenomenal.
MyFriend likes My Bloody Valentine. He just got a 30 year reissue of some album of theirs on vinyl. When I heard it, the cranked series 3 reverb made sense. I heard the sound that pedal makes being used to make music. It's its own thing.

I live in the realm of reverb, delay and chorus. If there's more 3 Series reverb and delay pedals coming down the line, I'm getting them. I love their simplicity and wide sonic range. You guys put too much into a $99 pedal. It's insane. Don't quit the entry level JHS insanity.
Hi Josh and company. Thanks so much for the wonderful show. Speaks for itself. As a Record Time request can I try and get Violet Sedan Chair for all to see. Great use of fuzz on "Long list of lovers" Cheers.
