    Bold, flavorful, smoky, and a little spicy, this Vegan Pepperoni is obscenely close to the real thing but without any animal cruelty or cholesterol. Use it on vegan pizza, in sandwiches, charcuterie boards, or just eat it on its own because it’s downright delicious!
    Long gone are the days of tiny packages of store-bought vegan pepperoni. This seitan recipe for it makes a huge amount for a fraction of the price! They freeze well too, so you can keep extra rolls of it for later. Not like they last too long in our house!

    All I needed was which seasoning makes the best flavor.. the one thing left out. Short not helpful

      UNITS USM
      SCALE
      1 small beet, chopped (see note 1)
      6 ounce can tomato paste
      ¼ cup reduced sodium soy sauce (see note 2)
      ¼ cup low sodium vegetable broth
      ¼ cup nutritional yeast (see note 3)
      1 tablespoon dried oregano
      1 tablespoon fennel seeds
      1 tablespoon garlic powder
      1 tablespoon onion powder
      1 tablespoon smoked paprika
      1 ½ teaspoons chili flakes (more or less to taste)
      1 ½ teaspoons sea salt
      1 ⅔ cups vital wheat gluten

      I'll use textured soy, because I can't get glutten flour :(
