    We have been trying to eat Whole Food Plant Based for the last 3 years. When I came across this recipe, I was excited to try it because it looked so simple and easy to do. I tried it out one day and we all loved it. I made a double batch the next day. We eat it mostly on sandwiches with lettuce and tomato. It was fabulous! Thanks for sharing.

    I made it this last night and had a few slices this morning. It REALLY WORKS!!! Personally, I think it should have been a little saltier, but the texture is great.
    The flavor from the fennel and the hot peppers really comes through.
    Honestly most videos with vegan versions of meat stuff leave me unimpressed, but this one is a big winner!

    I’d like to try that. Where is a good source to get some of those ingredients such as vital wheat gluten and those other things that help with your recipes?

    I tried and was a bit disappointed. :(It is like rubber. Next time I will add some legume flour to the dough.

    • @YdaJunsPlantbasedKitchen
      @YdaJunsPlantbasedKitchen  3 роки тому

      Sorry to hear that, it shouldn't be rubbery though. Did you knead it longer? Also I highly recommend using a kitchen scale.

      @@YdaJunsPlantbasedKitchen I kneaded it enough to fold in all ingredients. I do use a kitchen scale. :'(

      That’s odd, could it be the oven?

      @@YdaJunsPlantbasedKitchen I like the taste but I will change the consistency a bit, by adding other ingredients. I just read that adding 1 tablespoon of potato starch can help changing the rubbery consistency. Hey, but thanks a lot for caring!
