Shameless season 9 is finally on netflix. When this played at the end of the show i swear i had to rewind it because it got my attention and made me feel some type of special way!!!!!!!!!!!! Great song! Its been stuck in my head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Same thing happened to me then I went on UA-cam look it up been hooked ever sense the new song is great don't live here anymore ever well written and played love it
Landed on the airport in the middle of the night, rain is pouring down and i dreaded the long lonesome drive home. Then as i waited for my bags, i checked my phone and this song popped up in my feed. Talk about great timing!
Goodluck With That completely AGREE. I was wavering between Father John Misty "Pure Comedy" and Future Islands "The Far Field". This new WOD beautiful work of heart is as close to perfect as music can be and WE NEED IT!
Adam.... poet, sage of sadness... you have a gift and now the world is finally listening. TWOD have become one of rock's shining lights and they did it the old school way. Endless touring radio promo etc. They deserve the international success coming their way. One love from the UK.
This song is Powerful Wow! ! I love this man's voice. He has reached an inner part of me and a deep part of my heart God has made him wonderful . so hope, he knows it
Hey, Man. I just wanna apologize. I've been sleeping on you all for so long. I've always loved the song Red Eyes but I never dove deeper until I heard I don't live here anymore, live. You're stuff resonates with so many people. The feeling provoking sounds and lyrics almost bring me to tears. I manage to hold them back though. I love how your influences show in everything you make. You'll go down in history. Underrated to say the least. Thank you.
Wow. We are the same. Red Eyes is my most favorite song ever. Then I fell in love with I don’t live here anymore. Then I started digging deeper. Now I think TWOD is my favorite band.
I know, I buy vinyl only and when I play an album for the first time, I record it to my computer, and then figure out what songs I want to put on a various artist mix. Usually only 3 cuts from an album make my mixes, I've NEVER put 8 songs out of 10 on one of my mixes. Even the 2 that didn't make it, almost did!
I remember not feeling Under The Pressure on the first few listens until it clicked. Took a few spins of this one but it gets under your skin and grows on you a lot. Great album opener
Heard this song at the end of tv program and wouldn't turn the tv off until I found out the name. Made my husband listen to it over and over again while we drove home lol! Of course making comments like "listen to this part here!" or "listen to these changes!!!" Still love it and listen to it all the time!
Definitely grows on me the more I listen. At first I was, meh... but in different settings, the car, at my computer, through my stereo, the song comes at me from different angles. It's not my favorite, it's not epic like Strangest Thing or Pain, but it's got a nice upbeat flow and sound... nice variation from the already released stuff. Update: I've been letting TWOD songs flow at random from a playlist as I sat here writing, the last three songs were Pain, The Strangest Thing, and Up All Night. When Up All Night came on, I perked up, hit some new energy, and found myself bopping my head to the beat. A nice refreshing change in style, very complementary feel to the deeper, slower, more epic tunes. I am indeed liking this one more and more with every listen. Great driving song.
I remember this song couple years back when carl was going to military and ian got in jail the song hitting the background. It felt awesome. Thank u shameless ❤
Same here, I grew up in the 70s and 80s, and wasn't crazy about the 90s, other than New Radicals, but War On Drugs have restored my faith that new music can still be good. If you would have told me 10 years ago, that my favorite song and album had not yet been made, I would have said you're crazy, but " in chains " and Deeper Understanding have knocked out Led Zeppelin, Van Halen and Styx etc
came for me at a time of spiritual growth, only a great band can capture that feeling and make you feel transcendent. the war on drugs are a great band
And it just keeps getting BETTER and better. I wondered the effect LA LA Land would have on Adam. How could I not remember we love his/their music because they are AUTHENTIC in owning their issues and demons. All while bringing forth BEAUTY. See you in Berkeley!
I live in Philly and when I waited for the El Train for work this band was practicing in the factory that ran along the station and I could watch them from the train platform, one night on my way home I got to meet them.
I just found this band and this is the first song I'm listening to and I love it!! Going to listen to this album and the get lost in all of there work.
I remember when i first heard this song. I was in erasmus in Milano at the begining of 2018. It was late in the evening, my roomates were asleep and I was in my room watching the last episode of Shameless season 8. It was the begining of the exchange so I was a little homesick and then I heard it. I listened this song maybe 3 times in a row, but damn it feelt great. Now when I listen to this and I remember with nostalgy my trip in Italia.
I can't stop listening to this,I heard it for the first time ever bout four weeks ago in a shop and I took an instant liking so I'm now listening to all their albums plus I never heard of them till that point
juan pablo piednus I actually am fighting a terminal disease so your statement is VERY relatable. Not just the full album release but the concert I am seeing (them) in Berkeley, CA. Light and love to you! To all!

If you told me 10 years ago, my favorite song and album of all time had not been made yet, I would have said you're crazy
Based upon hearing the singles alone, this is the album of the year
Goodluck With That completely AGREE. I was wavering between Father John Misty "Pure Comedy" and Future Islands "The Far Field". This new WOD beautiful work of heart is as close to perfect as music can be and WE NEED IT!
By far! It will be challenging Lost in the Dream for the album of the decade.
without a doubt, the album of the year, I agree!! i love the war on drugs.
EASILY!! 5/5 so far from what I've heard.
"A Crow Looked at me"? no?

This song. It's just so good. I love the way the tension builds up, then gets resolved.
I cldnt of said it any better even if i tried
So glad I'm alive the same time as The War On Drugs.
This is such a double statement :P
Saw them alive in Dallas last year in 2019. So thankful.
no the war on drugs must end, it leads to so much systematic inequality /s
Certainly A WAR ON DRUDGE !

Getting up for work in NZ, Wednesday 6:20am. Saw this, and had to listen. The best band in a long, long time
Thank you for sharing this most excellent band 😊🎶❤️😊🎶❤️

I did the same watching “shameless” few yrs back that’s how I discovered these fellas
Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
Their album will be a masterpiece!
how many bands' 4th album presents a song like this? Adam and the band have really made an album for the decade
world class...album of the year. and maybe 10 yrs..outstanding.
Great band. Dire Straits in its infancy. My son turned me one to these guy's. Thank you, E.
For some reason this song's rhythm track reminds me New Order's The Perfect Kiss.
I'm really glad that this unique track will be on the album. It takes me to a very different place than the rest of the album and I'm liking it.

Happy 3rd birthday to this amazing album!
One of my favorite albums of all time. Beat out some of my classic rock favorites - just brilliant!
Same here, I grew up in the 70s and 80s, and wasn't crazy about the 90s, other than New Radicals, but War On Drugs have restored my faith that new music can still be good. "Well i started out, down a dirty road, im learning to fly, but i ain't got wings."
My thoughts exactly after first listen
Definitely Tom Petty vibes!
An awesome band producing a fantastic multi-layered melodic sound. 'Strangest Thing' is an incredible song.
My favourite off the new album.
I’m in love w this Ronny James rio looking frontman! Goddamn, this band is SO GOOD!
First listen - hmm not so sure about this one.

Yeah. Love all the tracks they've released so far.

🎵🎶Look, it's glowing.. It's not some feeling I can break🎶🎵🥰😉
That Linn Drum is pretty kick ass. They sound so amazing when they're not being sequenced for some coked-out "chart-topper" from the '80s !!
Tremenda banda!!! que joya! música para viajar! gracias The War On Drugs!
All their songs are so pleasant. Amazing band
This must sound epic live!
