i love the concept of this game. already. again. i probably said this a few times but i love your creativity with stuff. you seem to have a good grasp on what makes a game fun yet challenging. bravo.

This game looks really promising. The one bit of feedback I have is to telegraph the boss attacks a bit more. The actual attacks aren’t to hard to avoid, but it looks like it would be frustrating if you go too far and can’t see the attack before it hits you.
Fun to play is one thing but Fun to make is pretty impressive. also one of mechanic i would suggest would be something like "Wall that reflect bullets" or Portal don't know if that idea will work out though
Hey, i'd love to make some music, I have no experience in making music, but i would love to try and get the emotion right and start doing something. I could also suggest some ideas for worlds and levels, and mechanics. Some ideas i had while watching was a flamethrower which made you unable to stop shooting bullets, a bayonette powerup which you could "jump" in a direction and will deal damage if you hit the enemy in the right spot that bounces you back after, and a bladed grappling hook which had the ability to deal damage by deflecting attacks or simply hitting the enemy with the grapping hook, and with its own unique sort of locomotion. I would not mind contacting you on discord to discuss things, if you wouldn't mind.

I thought about adding a grapple hook myself but I scrapped the idea because it didn't really work out with the current movement mechanics. That bayonette thing is an insanely cool idea, but it works very similarly to the shields I have implemented currently, so I don't think I'll add it right now, although I'll definitely keep it in mind. I do plan on making all the music myself at the moment. Thanks a lot for your ideas! Sorry if I came of harsh or anything, it's just that I already have tons of stuff lined up that I want to do and so I gotta look out that I'm not drifting into feature creep territory. The timer is your ammocount, but I agree, put in the infrastructure to Speedrun. A competent ingame timer helps massively.
