- Walk 5000 steps at home with this at home 30 minute indoor walking workout. Suitable exercise for beginners, seniors and women over 50. This workout is challenging but doable and if you repeat twice you will complete your 10,000 steps for the day! Walk for weight loss and to burn belly fat, to get fit and feel good!

*Notes about this workout*
We speed up at the very end of the workout and work at 100% intensity, and by doing this we will be guaranteed to continue burning calories well after the workout is complete. This method is very helpful if your goal is to lose weight.
Recording steps will be different for each person based on the device you use to count The new step trackers account for variants in walking because not every step is equal!. There are many variants in recording steps, for example: If you casually walk from the kitchen to the bathroom you may take 30 steps...But if you dance your way to the bathroom and use your weights too, your device will register more than 30 steps. 30 slow steps is different to 30 running steps, 30 steps on a treadmill with 0 incline, is different to walking 30 steps on a treadmill with a 15 incline.
The goal is to add energy and a small degree of challenge to your steps. By doing this you will feel energised and reset your nervous system so your body can function more efficiently.

Did this routine AND your newest routine this morning and I asked my 87 year old mom if she cared to join me. She would have been walking for 1 hour or 1 1/2 hours but due to weather it wasn’t an option today. She did fantastic, a little challenging with the hand feet coordination but she still made it through. So proud of her ❤️ thank you Thank you Schellea 🥰

Love using your 5000 step challenge along with my exercise routine. I sweat like crazy for 35 minutes then go out for a walk. I alternate Zumba, cardio, yoga, bike and total fitness with your routine. Thank you! So much fun!!
Helen Flint I would like to say a big thank you for the exercises you have created. A while back I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia I was in so much pain sometimes I could not get out of bed. My sister recommended your website to me that was five months ago every day I do four to five of your exercises and I must tell you I have come such a long way. I can get up every morning and move around for me its like winning the lotto. I feel stronger every day and do not have the pain I used to have. I love the 30 min walk/weights sessions and use all of these sessions that you have ~ hoping you will add more of them. 30 min is the perfect time commitment for me and I feel great after doing these sessions😊

Had started the challenge many times and didn’t complete it. Finally, I made up that I were going to stay with it. I did and felt great. Was able to get in a dress that I bought a few days prior of completing my fourteen days challenge. This one tones very well. I’ve tried many programs, but I always find myself coming back to this

It is my second day doing this workout. At the beginning I was worried as to whether I can do 5000 steps. But the workout was finished before I knew it! You know what ? I feel much better & fitter! Sweated like nothing 😀

Absolutely loved 😍❤️ this workout. I jogged as much as I could during the walking times, used light weight db during some exercises, even incorporated (what I call) the funky chicken 🐔 walk during some walking periods. Thank you Shelley 😊 💓

This one was more than I thought it would be and I loved it!! I'm continuing to do the 5 minute knee strengthening exercises every day and I am starting to see a difference! Those pics in the beginning are so inspiring, too. I love seeing the difference not only in their physique, but in the clothes they choose to wear!

I love this workout - it’s fun and challenging for a 67 year old like me! 😄 When you’re back to doing videos, I would love to see more walking videos like this that are a little longer than 30 minutes. I have walked for years and years and I would like a walking workout that is 35 to 40 minutes long when I need to work out inside. Thanks so much!
