I can't tell you how much I appreciate your videos. I was a very healthy 71 year old in January and worked out 5 times a week with weights, cardio and stretching routines until I was hit with cancer. Two major surgeries and 3 rounds of brutal chemo left me a wreck. Once I got the go-ahead to start exercising again I found your workouts and they have been a godsend in getting me back into shape. I just can't get over the positivity that flows through these workouts. It's only a week since I found this channel and already my anxiety and overall mood has improved. I love the little reminders to find gratitude and the uplifting music as well as the exercises. Really enjoyable.
I loved doing this workout! I don’t think I’ve ever smiled so much while I’m exercising. I felt like I was having a little dance party in my living room!
I was so tired and trying to decide which walking workout to do. I have been walking 10000 steps. Yesterday, in one of your other workouts, this lady said that she does 5k, 3k then 2k in that order. I liked that idea and will be following it as it gives me a discipline to follow. Today, I just did the feet, not the arms as i was really very tired as i had previously said. I loved the Water Break in big letters, it made me happy as i felt that someone was exercising with me, i loved the positive sayings except they are too small for me to read so i had to stop the workout, put on my glasses in order to read the sayings. Wish you would make the writing bigger. These positive sayings are what kept me walking. Also love "Be Proud" at the end, it did make me proud. I still have to do 3k and 2k, however, the biggest one was done. I also remember a saying that as you get older, you need to keep active, that saying keeps me going as well. :)

I wanted to quit but I didn’t. I slowed down a bit the second half and was able to complete the whole workout. I am extremely proud of myself lately for sticking with my daily workouts and choosing longer ones as well. There is such a variety! Thank you Jules, for making it possible for seniors especially. I just wanted to say thank you for creating this 40 minute video. I used to do the 10,000 steps one and stop it at 40 - 45 mins because that's all the timeI have before work in the mornings, and I also struggle to go on longer than that. This video is the perfect length and has similar music to the 10,000 steps one. Really grateful for this.

As much as you can, try to be consistent with exercising every day, and add in strength workouts 2-3x a week to see faster results. Consistency in working out makes a difference!
Thanks, Jules! My health is improving! After a couple of months of doing your workouts, I actually WANT to workout daily. I would never have desired to attempt a 40 minute workout a few months ago, but now I love the positive mood I’m gaining by moving my body. I’m stronger, have more stamina, losing weight, dropped a clothing size, and I really look forward to exercising after at least 35 years of neglecting my body. I'm in love with your videos. I started doing your beegees video 8 weeks post my 2nd c section to ease into working out. Im now 9 months postpartum and now I do this one every morning before work. Sometimes my two year old will walk next to me. Can you please make a 6k or 7k steps one? I'd love the extra boost but can only do the 10ks on the weekends. I absolutely love the no talking (not anything against you❤) and the preview before the next workout. I've recommended you to so many people, especially my pregnant, obese, and older friends. Even my parents in their 60s. You're wonderful!

It's tough for me to make the longer workouts (I work full-time outside of what I do on YT, and have two daughters who are 11 and 13). But, I will do my best to make the time to do it when I can. I think most of us actually do move to the beat...it's during the editing process that sometimes throws it off (it's really difficult to match the music perfectly to the steps since the music gets added in while editing). I can't tell you how much time I've spent listening over and over to the music while watching my feet to match it up. We've had contractors in all week so this is the first day I've had more than 1/2 hour to exercise-- I really didn't feel the time pass, it was really fun and I love the older music--"you always thought that you were weak but babe, you're wrong" is exactly right. I was actually telling someone at work today all about my adventures in Australia many years ago from Darwin, all the way around the coast, through the Outback and over to the west coast.

I did it! I am five months past the second of two total hip replacements, which followed nearly two years of constant pain and decreased mobility which left me horribly out of shape. Within my hip restrictions, I started using your gentle walking workouts to ease my way in. But now I need the scale to budge, so I tried this for the first time this morning and I did great! Kept the pace just fine, and really enjoyed it all. You are the perfect workout buddy for me with your upbeat and encouraging personality. Thank you so much! ❤

I was gone from here for about 3 weeks with a stomach flu and ended up in ER because doc said I was low on potassium from dehydration so that's why it's important to stay hydrated even when you don't feel thirsty. I kept working out a little anyway and I just finished this workout and it was great. Glad to be back! Thanks for keeping me motivated!
Oh wow! I'm glad to read that you're better now and also understand the importance of staying hydrated (especially when doing these workouts). I find it's best to keep a reusable water bottle beside me in the day to ensure I drink enough. It's so easy to forget to drink enough if the water isn't beside us. By having the bottle, it also allows you to see how much (or how little) you're drinking.
Water alone is not enough! Make sure it has electrolytes and gatorade doesn’t count. Obviously check with your doctor, but if you’re sweating a lot, you’re also losing a lot of sodium. Make sure you take care of yourself and stay hydrated 💕
It can definitely be a challenge. My suggestion is to focus on healthy eating and continue to exercise daily. Don't focus too much on the scale. Focus on how you feel both mentally and physically when and after you exercise, and remember that so many good things are going on inside your body that you can't see. Just keep moving since it's benefitting your body (and mental health) in so many ways.

I wanted to quit but I didn’t. I slowed down a bit the second half and was able to complete the whole workout. I am extremely proud of myself lately for sticking with my daily workouts and choosing longer ones as well. There is such a variety! Thank you Jules, for making it possible for seniors especially. I wouldn’t feel this good without you!😊💛

I just wanted to say thank you for creating this 40 minute video. I used to do the 10,000 steps one and stop it at 40 - 45 mins because that's all the timeI have before work in the mornings, and I also struggle to go on longer than that. This video is the perfect length and has similar music to the 10,000 steps one. Really grateful for this.

As much as you can, try to be consistent with exercising every day, and add in strength workouts 2-3x a week to see faster results. Consistency in working out makes a difference!

I would never have desired to attempt a 40 minute workout a few months ago, but now I love the positive mood I’m gaining by moving my body. I’m stronger, have more stamina, losing weight, dropped a clothing size, and I really look forward to exercising after at least 35 years of neglecting my body. I'm in love with your videos. I started doing your beegees video 8 weeks post my 2nd c section to ease into working out.
Im now 9 months postpartum and now I do this one every morning before work. Sometimes my two year old will walk next to me.
Can you please make a 6k or 7k steps one?
I'd love the extra boost but can only do the 10ks on the weekends.

It's tough for me to make the longer workouts (I work full-time outside of what I do on YT, and have two daughters who are 11 and 13). But, I will do my best to make the time to do it when I can. I think most of us actually do move to the beat...it's during the editing process that sometimes throws it off (it's really difficult to match the music perfectly to the steps since the music gets added in while editing). I can't tell you how much time I've spent listening over and over to the music while watching my feet to match it up. Anyway, just a bit of side info of how the process works:) I'm glad that you enjoyed this one!

We've had contractors in all week so this is the first day I've had more than 1/2 hour to exercise-- I really didn't feel the time pass, it was really fun and I love the older music--"you always thought that you were weak but babe, you're wrong" is exactly right. The things I can do now that I couldn't do two years ago are amazing thanks to you. Thanks for this great video and I hope your day is awesome, too!

5,000 felt like 500! You are the deejay of walking the way you mix up the moves and add just the right music. The one legged double side kicks were great as were the jumping jack double front kicks. Oh yess Cynthia we did it 🎉 and I feel sooooo good! Every minute was perfect julie!❤ even if this morning at 7h I did a 30 min 😮 I cood not wait tomorrow to do this one. I did it! I am five months past the second of two total hip replacements, which followed nearly two years of constant pain and decreased mobility which left me horribly out of shape. Within my hip restrictions, I started using your gentle walking workouts to ease my way in. But now I need the scale to budge, so I tried this for the first time this morning and I did great! Kept the pace just fine, and really enjoyed it all. You are the perfect workout buddy for me with your upbeat and encouraging personality. Thank you so much! ❤

I was gone from here for about 3 weeks with a stomach flu and ended up in ER because doc said I was low on potassium from dehydration so that's why it's important to stay hydrated even when you don't feel thirsty. I kept working out a little anyway and I just finished this workout and it was great. Glad to be back! Thanks for keeping me motivated!
Oh wow! I'm glad to read that you're better now and also understand the importance of staying hydrated (especially when doing these workouts). I find it's best to keep a reusable water bottle beside me in the day to ensure I drink enough. It's so easy to forget to drink enough if the water isn't beside us. By having the bottle, it also allows you to see how much (or how little) you're drinking.
That's one of the reasons I like your workouts because you remind us to drink our water!
Water alone is not enough! Make sure it has electrolytes and gatorade doesn’t count. Obviously check with your doctor, but if you’re sweating a lot, you’re also losing a lot of sodium. Make sure you take care of yourself and stay hydrated 💕
Gatorade works better than water for me

It can definitely be a challenge. My suggestion is to focus on healthy eating and continue to exercise daily. Don't focus too much on the scale. Focus on how you feel both mentally and physically when and after you exercise, and remember that so many good things are going on inside your body that you can't see. Just keep moving since it's benefitting your body (and mental health) in so many ways.
