Soft close drawer bottom mount drawer slide install

I have tried to install soft close drawer mounts unsuccessfully. I picked up the Everbilt 20 inch soft close slide and bingo, it works great on a large, packed drawer.

Took me a while to find a video like this since I use the sliders and upgrading to the soft close. How did you come up buying the 20 inches instead of the 18 or 22 inches? Sorry if that's a dumb question.

The depth of the drawer should be a close match to length of slide.

Is it supposed to be difficult to pull open? I noticed you kinda had to force it yourself when you were demonstrating it. I have the exact same brand and sliders as you

It is spring loaded, so I have to pull to get past the spring tension.
