Yes, this is exactly what I was looking for to do this upgrade including the measurements of the new slides, rather than going by the old slides. Great demonstration of how to install with cool tips with marking the existing drawer and how to centre the new pieces. Thanks so much for the post!!
thank you, your voice is so calm and you go straight for the deal. That was a song from Rosemary Clooney in my mom’s day. I would love to turn this over to someone else but here I go.
Thank you your video it didn't cover my drawer but it showed me how to figure it out myself. I had to take off the back panel to remove the plug at the end of the central rail.
Big thank you. I followed the extremely brief instructions that came with the sliders and it came out wrong. I started from scratch with your video and was able to get it right.
My vanity has suspended slides (i.e., they are only attached on the ends; there's no middle board). Can I still use there slides? Must I add a board into which I screw in new slides?
I’m enthusiastic to take up the challenge and replace our kitchen drawer slider. Your video has built up my enthusiasm. So, our drawer’s are 21 ¾ inches depth what slider length should we purchase? 22 inch or 24 inch? We have the required ½ inch at either side. Thanks for your detailed video.
Sir 🫡 Thank you so much, i never knew the differences and how to install. You simple focused explanation and comments are wonderful, Best wishes to you
I wasn't able to use much from this video but you gave enough keywords and tips to measure that I was finally able to do mine on my own.... Now I just gotta figure out how to put the cupboard back on....
Question for you ! Haha hope you don’t mind me asking ! Anyhow can this slide be used for something other than a drawer ,, Meaning I have a Breville toaster oven like and it sits on the counter top tho it sits to deep and when on the heat and yes smoke at time raise up and grease stains my upper cabinet doors … I was wondering if I sat the Breville on these rollers hinge’s that if ever I wanted to run the Breville I could just slide the Breville forward even 2 or 3 inches and it seems to make a difference when I pull it out manually ! The second question is i don’t won’t holes on my counter to wreck anything , so I wonder if it’s just sitting on these roller hinges if it would slide out just by the weight of it ? Like to hear your comment or another suggestion 😩🤣👍
Well! You definitely do not want to install the slides to the countertop. I would recommend making a platform to mount the slides to and and then add a shelf to it (as the drawer) and then sit the Breville on it. Does that make sense?
Thanks! I was looking for a universal measurement that would work for most slides. You can go less of course, as long as the slide clears any obstructions.
If you were going to burn 1 inch on the tape measure, you need to do it on both side, because sometimes tape measure is 1/16 th of an inch off when you hook or push against Whatever your measuring.
Thanks for a simplified, straightforward method without all the unnecessary commentary! Great job!
Glad it was helpful!
Exactly!!

Should the drawers be smooth opening? I find the first one a little stiff opening but closes nicely@@Woodworkerexpress
Thanks for uploading, importantly your explanation is clear and very easy to follow. Keep up the good work
Thanks! Glad it helped out
Pretty top end add-on to some pretty bottom end drawers.
The best step by step I’ve seen so far! 👍
Wow, thanks!
Perfect instructions. Followed them step by step! Thank you

Awesome to hear!
Great explaination. Simple and easy to follow.

Put flat elastic bands either end of your level , will not move while you draw the line .
Thanks for the informative video.
Thats a great tip! Thank you
You are very welcome , all the best.

Great video my guy!
Excellent method. Very easy and accurate. Thank you.
Great work, best explanation I have seen,
My vanity has suspended slides (i.e., they are only attached on the ends; there's no middle board). Can I still use there slides? Must I add a board into which I screw in new slides?
You can get the rear mounting socket for the new slides that would work just as your original slides do. Or yes, you can block out the cabinet instead

Are you planning to install a slider longer than the drawer? I don't think so, right? Has to be the same size or smaller.
So what if I measure my drawer and it measures just below 17"? Is it better to size down, or try to find a more precise fit
Perfect accurate and clear explanation

@@Woodworkerexpress thank you
that what is the same question I had. now it's all clear. Thank you!
How do I save this video?
My buddy built a drawer like this for his man toys. My wife thinks he is a bit kinky, but I love him just the same.
😂 #mantoys
common to my house! Boy here goes!
Thank you so much👍
I want to know...what the heck is that big black box on top of the fridge?
I bought the 22 inch drawer slides...will they work with a 21.5 inch drawer? Depth to face of cabinet is over 23 inches
Yep! They will work perfectly. You will actually have a little more extension of the drawer so its a bonus
Well done
Thanks!
Thanks for the tutorial!
You are most welcome!
She do you call the old slides Epoxy ?
Yes?
Can always install a close soft piece and save some money
Always pre drill.
Very true! These screws are so small and were going into plywood so not too much of a risk
The roller slides look better than the cabinets

Very good advice! I was assuming that your tape measure has been inspected and checked for accuracy first!
