Repairing a leak in a washing machine -

Water dripped under the washer and appeared on the floor in front. This leak as difficult to find. I think there may have been several small leaks. I started by replacing the rubber baffle hose. I am not sure if this was necessary. Then I saw water drips coming from tiny cracks at the bottom rear of the plastic tube. Still leaking. I painfully took off a double screwed hose holder and saw the f...

    So this is not the hybrid battery. Its more like a regular battery i had to jump in old cars when i left the lights on? And its a cheaper fix than the hybrid? If the car isnt starting that means its a 12volt battery issue?

    • @DrBDIY
      @DrBDIY 2 дні тому

      This is the regular car sized 12v battery replacement in the hybrid. The hybrid battery replacement would cost $1000s.

    I like that this video shows the quick unmounting of the extra fuse and relay box on the driver’s side in the Highlander Hybrid, which creates room for non-child sized fingers. For another view of the removal and replacement of the bulbs, I recommend m.ua-cam.com/video/dvpgbsxlh7c/v-deo.html . It also shows the seating and turn of the bulbs, and the opening and closing of the weather cover on the headlight assembly that I think arrived with the 2017 Highlander/Hybrid mid-model refresh. Achievement unlocked: I successfully replaced the driver’s side low beam bulb on my 2017 Highlander Hybrid.

    Mine did the same thing. I had an electrician come to the house thinking I had a bad wiring set-up, then he tells me that both the home and generator are fine, but they are "incompatible". Not very helpful, so I call Honda, and they talk about Service Bulletin 20, which is a 2-phase vs. 3 phase issue, which doesn't sound like the problem. I then call my electrician back and explain what I've been told, and then describe this video, which he says is the explanation that makes sense. Honda should make it clear that there is an issue when powering a house vs. powering tools and let me add that most Honda dealers who sell these don't know a fucking thing about generators. They just want your money up-front.

I’ve terrible luck with the smaller Coastal flashlights and was ready to give up on them until I got this one as a gift over a year ago. I hope I get long term use out of it. Hello. Mine won't connect. I've re-started many many times. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

      Given the steps in the video, how far did you get?

      Try factory reset.

    Very good. Thank you for the thorough demonstration, and the honesty when it came to the glass. Much appreciated.

    You didn't show it going up and that's what I came here for. I suppose you angle it in with the brackets you're forced to use on this one?

      Just inserted into the space and put screws into the side of the unit and into the ceiling wood 2x6. I did this two screw on the long side, and one screw in the back.

      @DrBDIY thanks. I had to ram it in there with the brackets. I could've drilled a hole in guess but this was really a nightmare to install. There was no way to get the brackets in once it's between the joists. I angled it from the top and literally had to hit it a few times to send it. Then unused a cabinet lift to hold it in place.while I fastened it. This was the most difficult exhaust fan I've ever done and I've done a bunch.

      @DrBDIY Місяць тому

      Yeah, same difficulty for our fan. The model isn't easy for an existing install. If you have the brackets in it will be less vibration. Good DIY job. So far the product is running well.

    Thanks! But the upper side of those grommets would be called the “convex” side. Not the concave side….

    Awesome video! I was on Amazon ready to purchase a new staple gun and decided to see if there was a way to 'fix' my old one. I followed you every step of the way...pausing and rewinding several times...I am proud of myself! My old stapler is working again! Thank you dear sir!

      Yes, I let it fill, turned it off after a few hours, and drained the water.
