Yes you did a good job so far in your journey I did keto first and then started carnivore. I had a really hard time going poop. It took me four days I didn’t know if that’s normal or not. Does anybody else have a problem with it when I was switching over, so it happened both weeks andI don’t know how long that last. Thanks for your video. It helps a lot.❤
@sharonchristensen5753 (Sharon): people usually fall into two camps when starting carnivore. 1 camp has "explosive" diarrhea because their body is releasing large amounts of retained water that is no longer required when on Carnivore. These folks definitely need to up their electrolytes because they will be flushed out during the first 2-3 weeks (especially potassium and magnesium). The other group is like yourself. Your body is actually consuming all the nutrition from the foods you are eating so there is not much left as waste and since you are not consuming fiber (from vegetables) there is a minimal amount to excrete. Before carnivore I was very "regular" and would often go multiple times per day. Now on Carnivore, sometimes I can skip a day or 2 without going. That said, if you are concerned about it, the simple fix is to increase your fat intake, especially melted/liquid fat, like butter. I make brown butter bites (search youtube for KetoGenic Woman and brown butter and you will see how simple it is to make) that are 1 tablespoon each. I keep them in the refrigerator in wax paper and consume them as a savory snack (like eating a caramel). Eat 1 or 2 of these or melt some butter and dip your cut up steak pieces into the butter before eating and this should address your problem and help you to go. If you do this, do stray too far from the bathroom. It can be pretty quick acting.
52 year old, male, 6'1".I've been carnivore since Jan 18, 2024. Currently, I'm at 195, started at 225. My gums quit bleeding (when I floss) after 48 hrs. My knees no longer creek when going downstairs or walking. Depression and anxiety are WAY down (I really don't have a way to measure this). I had a 45° crease in my left earlobe (sign of heart disease) is almost gone. I sleep much better; according to my Galaxy Watch 5 I'm averaging a sleep score of 80/night. Before carnivore I was averaging 55-70/night. I feel much better than when I was on the SAD Diet, much more energy! Carnivore for the win!
@rbvocal Congrats on your progress to-date; Now that you are past the 60-day mark, I would expect to see your progress accelerate even more (up to the 90-day mark). I know that happened for me and several of my Carnivore friends. Best of luck as you continue your Carnivore journey.
I have looked at that but unfortunately the only way to stop the oxalate dumping if that's what it is, is to increase your carb intake to get out of Ketosis which since I am a type 2 diabetic trying to achieve a specific A1c value, I am not willing to do at this time. Thanks for the comment and suggestion.
@retirementramblings I just watched Old Carnivore and he said he got psoriasis at first on carnivore which eventually went away and he did not add carbs. Definitely do not want to add carbs. Yikes.
@mamabear9389 Do you mean Mitch at Old Man Carnivore or is there a different old carnivore that you are referencing? I know from watching Bella at Steak & Butter Gal and others they have also had success but it took them 6 months or longer. I do plan to "tough it out" and to supplement with Doxycycline as necessary to keep the incessant itch down. As this has been my only real complaint on Carnivore, its certainly something that I can tolerate to get all the other benefits I have seen. Thanks for your comment and looking out for me.... :)
Mike & Nary: I lost 23.0 pounds (starting weight was 212.4; weight as of yesterday was 189.4 lbs); Thanks for the question and for stopping by. Good luck on your Carnivore journey!
Strong work! Those are excellent results! Carry on! 👍👍
Thanks for your comment; Much appreciated.
Thank you for the detailed video. Good presentation and congratulations on your results!
Thanks Vincent; I appreciate you watching and the "attaboy" comment.
Keep up the good work!
Thank you!

Thank you so much for your help. I appreciate it. I will try that right away today.
Great. Please let me know if that solves your issue.
@sharonchristensen5753 did the additional fat/butter bites help resolve the issue for you?
Yes it help I finally went so thankful. I hope it keeps up. Thanks for your great idea.❤

very extensive.. nice work bro :)
Thanks 😁. Comment is much appreciated.
Yes skin is a reflection of the gut lining... and it sounds like you are healing internally.
@catherineozarko5480 Thanks for watching and commenting. I certainly hope that is the case.
I wonder if the skin issue is oxalate dumping. Another carnivore mentioned getting some psoriasis at first that eventually went away.

@retirementramblings Not Mitch. There is a channel called Old Carnivore. He is in his 80's and has a very interesting story.
OK. Thanks. I will check him out.
How much weight did you lose total? Day 1 to the present day?

@@retirementramblings Thank you 😊
