One thing to keep in mind is that the proteins in meat (and all animal products) activate a pathway to cause you to age more quickly and that only happens with plant proteins when you consume to much. See the studies cited in the book: How not to age.

It's easy: stick to things that have only 1 ingredient (you can throw them together obviously for a meal)
I consider whole grain pasta to be healthy, but you should have them split up in to maximum 2 meals a day, and with a good amount of healthy plant seed oils (I prefer olive). Other than that I eat nuts and vegetables. Only drink water, coffee, and tea without milk or sugar. If you're vegan have your vit.B12 and a good source of omega-3 fatty acids (like algae oil), maybe vit.D if you're a nightshift worker or not out in the sun much, and you're good. I'm 40 years old, athletic, everyone thinks I'm much younger. Take good care of your bodies folks 💟

I've been on the Lion Diet almost 1 year now with great success. I have mental health problems that have been dramatically improved even when put under far worse conditions. As a faithful Catholic, I really appreciate this content focusing on health and the body, with some push back against certain shortcomings in our medical system while pointing toward possible life changing solutions. A personal Catholic friend of mine from Harvard, an integrative medicine doctor, first turned me on to all this years ago. Then another Harvard grad, psychiatrist Dr.Christopher Palmer came out with his amazing cutting edge book on this topic called "Brain Energy". I've since been following Neurosurgeoun Dr.Anthony Chaffee on UA-cam to learn more and really perfect my ee lifestyle. Health of body is in service to God, and family as Camerone said. And for all our marriages, purity, travels and happy meetings... St.Raphael- pray for us!

Blood pressure and pulse have also improved. It’s sad that so many continue to turn to the old, politically driven, government subsidized food pyramid which is making so many Americans sick. This episode was such a gift and speaks almost exactly to my story.
I grew up with unexplained chronic illness and got married to my wonderful husband at 18. I couldn't work for a years and had to give up so many dreams because of severe illness and pain. We have been married 5 years and just entered the catholic church last Easter. I've felt so much grief through infertility, debilitating illness and severe mental health issues, but the catholic faith has given me such perspective, hope and purpose in this cross. I recently started primarily eating carnivore in the last couple weeks and I can actually keep my eyes open, I've lost excess weight and feel a lot better, however I haven't been strict enough with it and I'm having an awfully unpleasant flare up this evening. This gives my husband and I the push to go further.

Something that helps me when I'm craving good food (especially rn, my fam baking cookies every single day 😭) has been imagining myself offering up the craving to God like a little girl would offer flowers that she's picked in a garden. I know that the mortification brings Him joy and grant me virtue. And so the smell of the cookies is sweet and I am happy.

I’m also carnivore for autoimmune disorders. I did it for a year then experimented for another year and came back in August. Everyone comments how skinny I am (like my first round of carnivore) and how my skin glows. I experimented with ridding coffee from my diet for 3 months and it made no difference. I’m happy that I can handle it (love it) and like Cameron, am selective with my beans and consume the coffee package in a month (as it does spoil). I handle butter and ghee great (yes, because it’s lower in lactose which does cause issues for many).
I do eat cheese (mostly goat cheeses).
Beef does in fact have all of the vitamins/nutrients and amino acids we need to thrive (even trace amounts of vit c- especially in liver). Magnesium/electrolyte supplementation is crucial for success and also recommend a good D/K supplement (like Thorne’s as it’s in MCT oil) as MOST people are deficient in.
When I go for sushi with friends I’ll get sashimi with a dip of a wasabi aioli or some other sort of flavorful dip for a smidge of garnish.
This is also my new normal and prefer to offer up this sacrifice (of all other foods I enjoy) to God (he and the saint’s sacrificed so much more) and for my health/being able to function!

You two are awesome, thank you for sharing. I've been on carnivore for 9 months and the results have far exceed any expectations. Sleep apnea, snoring, joint pain, head aches are all gone.Even experiencing improvement in my eyesight. Lost over 50 lbs, and now getting the best sleep. Waking up between 4-5 am every morning (before the alarm goes off) feeling refreshed and ready to go. Butter and salt have been very helpful, but the best results are coming from beef. Keep it up and best of luck. God bless.

Your channel just popped up on my feed after watching Carnivore Doctor with Dr Lisa. I'm so happy for your progress on the Carni way of eating. As you continue, you will heal more, but it does take time for your body to heal years of toxic eating. It's sad that those in charge of informing the public what to eat to stay healthy are lying to us. I've been trying to go full 100% Carni for almost 2 years because I have carb addictions. I'm currently 90/10 Carni 90% & 5%veg & 5% carbs. My journey to Carni is to heal Obesity & Obesity related illnesses. Not as difficult as your journey has been. But hang in there & can't wait to hear more on your healing. Sounds like 2024 will be your year 🙏🏻

Carnivore has healed so much for me! I started off carnivore in hopes to reverse my fibrocystic breast masses that have built up over 6 years eating half a dry skinless chicken breast piece a day with half cup of broccoli and little bit of wheat noodles. We are told don’t eat very much meat- so the world is almost vegan just about. I would eat red canbbage too- cooked it and ate cabbage about 3 times a week. That was about it. So I was mainly chicken, broccoli, and little wheat noodles. So from age 40-46 I started getting all that “aging” health issue mess- and the fibrocystic breast “disease” started and kept building up! When I hit age 46 I was done with it! The fibrocystic masses were getting me scares- and I started getting huge painful breast cysts too! One was around 2” long and 1” wide! Docs would say, “we don’t know what causes fibrocystic breasts disease” and “fibrocystic breasts is now normal because everyone is getting it” and “fibrocystic breast could turn into cancer” and “there is nothing you can do for fibrocystic breasts” and “diet doesn’t cause fibrocystic breasts!” I was gaining weight too and by summer of 2022 I hit perimenopause at age 46 and got every symptom you could think of. My joints were hurting too, no sleep at night, dizzy at times, it was ridiculous! I know it had to be diet! Little did I know that all the other health issues I had all my life, in addition to this mess listed above, was all due to diet!
I went searching online and found the truth of my fibrocystic problem! Found out cruciferous veggies (broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, and asparagus) are all cruciferous veggies that block natural iodine absorption found in foods! And if you become depleted in iodine it messes up your thyroid which controls all- even hormones! And all organs need iodine including breasts! They swell if you are deficient! And I read these cruciferous veggies can cause cancer due to lack of iodine in body since they block absorption! Bingo! We are all being told to eat cruciferous veggies, that they can prevent cancer, and to eat lots of it including broccoli!! But in fact they are causing cancer and I truly feel it is causing all the fibrocystic breast cases that have been escalating lately that we are seeing! When I post about this and ladies write back saying they too had fibrocystic breasts, I ask, “do you eat cruciferous veggies, especially broccoli” and they all have said, “YES!”
I did more research and found carnivore! I Jumped right in! In 6-8 weeks I lost 45 pounds! My perimenopause reversed! In fact don’t even get PMS symptoms and my cycle is perfectly paced! And so much more reversed that I started writing it down! And yes, my fibrocystic breast masses shrank!
I share my progress because I want people to see how carnivore can heal so much and most of these things are commonly healed for many, not just me! I want to help and this is how I do- by sharing. No I am not paid to do this, I just want to help people see and be aware of what carnivore can do!
I do update this list as I have been on carnivore (more lion diet version) for 1 year, 2 months, and 1 week now. I feel this has helped so many decide if they should try carnivore. I always say go watch Dr. Baker, Dr. Chaffee, and Dr. Berry- my three most favorite doctors. They are truly amazing! I call them my carnivore doctors! ☺️
    * No more perimenopause- completely reversed!
*Period cycles all timed perfect with 4 week intervals. And no PMS symptoms, but only the actual menstrual cycle itself!
    *No more night sweats
*No more waking every 2 hours at night!
*It used to take me 20 minutes or longer to fall asleep at night when I would first go to bed at night- before carnivore. Now it takes like a minute or less. Haven’t noticed since I am out fast!
    *No more life long eczema
*No more cold hands (may have been Reynold’s disease, never diagnosed.)
*No more cold body temp in general! Used to feel like a reptile - only warm in texas sun. (may have been Raynaud’s disease, never diagnosed.)
*No more IBS symptoms (gas, bloating, stomach pain, constipation, diarrhea)
*No more feeling low energy by 12pm and zombie by 4pm
*No more purple looking hands in winter (may have been Raynaud’s disease, never diagnosed.)
    *No more brain fog
*No more arthritis that I felt in hands, knees, and hips- or elbows
*used to have sore hips when sleeping on my side. No more!
*Lost 45+ pounds from former baby weight and peri menopause weight.
*Always had 20/20 vision with slight stigmatism- but in March doctor said my stigmatism is reversing!
*Don’t sunburn as easily anymore and tan well.
*Wrinkles around eyes seem to be much less. I am 47 and look like I am in early 30’s.
*Gums look super healthy. Dentist seems irritated as my teeth are not dirty when cleaning every six months. Think they know they won’t make money off me.
*No more sore chest from monthly periods- no swelling feeling of fullness or discomfort that prevented me from sleeping on my stomach. Now I sleep every night on my stomach!
*Fibrocystic Breast issues reversing! Almost all gone after 6 years of buildup!
*no cravings unless they are for meat
*no more angina symptoms before a period- which started about 3 years ago.
*No more feeling weak like almost passing out and dizzy around ovulation and periods when walking around.
    * no more fingers swelling- that started a few years ago- rings kept being tight- is pattern I noticed. One ring I had resized larger and it’s super loose now. Will have to resize smaller.
*feel stronger- now lifting barbells not just hands weights. Dr. Baker said since I am 46, and 5’7” at 122lbs- need more resistance training to add more muscle weight. . So bought a 47lb barbell off Amazon and have 90 extra pounds added to it. Will continue to progress with that.
*Before carnivore- i had started growing grey hairs in one of my eyebrows, few hairs at a time, but no grey in my blonde hair yet - but assumed it was coming. Now on carnivore I have had no new grey hairs growing in eye brows and still no grey hair in my natural blonde hair. And in the sun it gets super light highlights.
    * no more body odor!
    * I used to get a little anxiety with large crowds- like if attending special events- but since on carnivore I don’t get it that much.
*I was a bit OCD before carnivore, but so much more relaxed so barely like that.
    * I was a relaxed person before, but somehow am even more relaxed and never stress about things.
*Since I was a young child my sense of smell has been terrible. But not even a month in on carnivore my sense of smell has gone crazy! I smell things even far away! Amazing!
*no more allergies! I was allergic to cedar and oak pollens- and mold- but since carnivore I am no longer reacting to those outdoor pollens which is amazing!
    * I have had no more issues from ear wax build up. Had it twice after having kids and docs would say it was a hormonal problem. Carnivore cured that too!
*Veins in my arms look healthier. They were almost invisible before.
*Legs no longer hurt on longer road trips or plane rides!
*I used to get a popping sounds in my right shoulder when lifting weights. Was probably a pulled ligament. That is now gone!
*I have been lactose intolerant since I was a kid, and I feel my nails are a bit stronger than before. They do break if I catch them on things but I feel they are getting stronger on carnivore.
*My teeth look more white on carnivore.
*My blood pressure has improved on carnivore. 6 years before carnivore up to starting carnivore my blood pressure was increasing. Now on carnivore it is back to normal like when I was younger. Last reading it was 100/75 which is awesome!
*i used to get eye twitches in my eye lids, but that is gone.
    * at times when trying to fall asleep I would close my eyes and at times felt dizzy like falling feeling or spinning. But haven’t has that since I have been on carnivore for 12 months.
*the skin on the heals of my feet are no longer cracked and dry!
*little leak from sneezing or coughing that ladies get from estrogen dominance is gone on carnivore! Hormones balanced so no more estrogen dominance!
*The top inner corner of both my larger toes have felt a little numb for years. Never had it diagnosed. But being 1 year on carnivore I no longer feel that numbness! My nerves have healed in that spot on both toes! Crazy!
*My slightly receding gums behind my center bottom front teeth have rebuilt so gums all over are super healthy! I have flossed daily for years, but gums look even healthier!
*my skin on my face isn’t as oily as it used to be.
*My hair used to be super oily if not washed daily, but carnivore has regulated my hair so I can now go days without having to wash it- doesn’t get oily after one day like before! (Newest update added!)
So there you go! ☺️ I hope this helps people on their journey to fins out what works for them! Carnivore is working for everyone that tries. Go watch Dr. Baker, Dr. Chaffee, and Dr. Berry! And go visit Kerry’s channel at Homesteadhow! We love him too! ☺️

I am really confused, because on one hand I would love to try it (we have the same age), but at the same time I have been diagnosed with gallstones (and I tend to get high cholesterol easily if I don't eat well) so the doctor told me to avoid everything that is fatty as I have too many big stones in the gallbladder and they want me to take it out all together. I am trying to reverse the situation with a strict food regime (similar to keto I would say) and I am scared that with the carnivore diet will get worse because of the fat built up in the gallbladder. Also I never heard that some vegs can cause serious problems, normally they tell you red cow meat causes cancer. What about other stuff like carrots, celeriac, spinach, etc? Are they ok?

Doctors thought I was crazy, but last visit the endocrinologist said to keep doing whatever it is I'm doing. Why? Because I took myself off levothyroxine since going Carnivore (after being on it for 20 years) and my lab results were normal. Additionally, after the last ultrasound, the nodule went from a TR5 (the worst) to a TR4, so I seem to be headed in the right direction. It's great to see fellow Catholics aboard the Carnivore train! For those unfamiliar with the carnivore diet, it is technically zero-carb keto using animal products only, uses fat as the main energy source so relies on fatty meat rather than lean meat, along with eggs, fish, milk etc, anything from an animal.
It works as a mono-food healing diet that restores your gut initially which has the consequence of normalising your body and your weight.
There is a 2-6 week adaption phase where your stools may be looser than normal, this almost always passes.
Most people continually lose weight until they hit their optimal weight, one caveat is that from many comments I have read cheese tends to stall weight loss, being both kind of addictive and very calorie dense.
I just completed over 100 days on it and am convinced it is a sustainable healing diet,
my main plan is eating twice per day,
bacon or steak and eggs fried in butter for brunch,
    ground beef patties for dinner,
with celtic salt added and plenty of filtered water throughout the day
a glass or three of full cream milk along with the meals.
NO HUNGER and continual weight loss and healing of my psoriasis, plus complete healing of my gut
No real thought required or hardship
I will make up a video playlist and add it in a comment here, it fixes depression, MS, extreme obesity, boils and many other almost untreatable maladies that medicine seems stumped on

    • @kristenherr9389
      @kristenherr9389 9 місяців тому +3

Just to add a caveat - it’s more of a weight optimization diet than a weight loss diet. People that are too thin tend to gain some weight after they’ve adjusted to it and have lost excess water weight from inflammation.

My husband raised in school and church Catholic read his Bible and now realizes that he was leading a life of Catholic rules (the Law, mentioned in the Bible) but now he knows freedom of the grace that Jesus died to provide us for salvation.

Once you receive this grace directly from Jesus/God through being repentant (not penance, it is nowhere mentioned in uncorrupted Bibles) your desires will change and you will want to live by the ten commandments but being human we will always struggle therefore the need for grace. We no longer need a mediator after Christ died and Mary is never mentioned as a mediator, nor is she equal to Christ and should never be worshiped. In the Bible the mention of "the queen of heaven" was when the people were admonished for worshiping a false god.
1 Peter 2:4-5 "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
For there is ONE God, and ONE mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"
My husband had no idea his salvation didn't depend on absolution from a priest and he didn't have to guess or wonder if he was going to heaven until reading:
      1 John 5:11-13
"And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that YE MAY KNOW THAT YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."
Praying for you to have freedom to know God personally and never fear your salvation. 🥰🙏

Quercetin is an iron chelator which is very helpful because the root cause of her chronic inflammation is iron dysregulation. The cod liver oil is providing lots of Vitamin A Retinol, which is helping her iron recycling system, among other things. Colostrum has lactoferrin which binds iron (which again, is the underlying issue) and those benefits are incredibly helpful to keep the "iron food" away from pathogens. Curious what you're doing for adequate potassium, Calcium, and Vitamin C, and magnesium. You'd definitely see greater benefits by supplementing copper. Prayers Cameron, for your continued healing. ❤

Cameron, butter has a very low amount of lactose. So that's probably why it's ok for you. My mother has several of the conditions you do. And butter is ok for her too. If you wanted to cut out the lactosr completely try clarified butter/Ghee. It's butter with all the flavor but with the lactose removed. It's also really easy to make yourself. On that note thank you so much for sharing your health journey. You have been an answer to prayer in figuring out my mother's health issues as well.

I fell into carnivore by accident… one could say… I am highly allergic to all seeds, seed oils and seed seasoning… I literally had to stop eating everything.., I was never a big produce eater to begin with so basically I was eating meats and dairy… found out about carnivore about 3 years ago… I am not totally strict with it.. I still do a lot of baking for my family…
I actually have a really hard time eating out because of the seed issues… you would be amazed at how much mustard seed is used in restaurants! Also the butter is not always real butter… I have to make sure it’s not margarine because I will react to the seed oil blended in with the butter.
Maybe it’s where I live but I usually have to talk with the chef/cook about my meal because the wait staff doesn’t really know/understand the severity of my allergy… and I have actually had a few restaurants tell me that they do have anything I could eat because of how the food is prepped or mostly pre-seasoned….
I learned to bring my own bags of bacon and tubs of ground beef everywhere… lol 😂 I don’t feel deprived of anything though… I was never a person who needed a lot of “verity” anyway.

I'm a middle-aged man and I had been suffering with gout, joint pain, atrial fibrillation, high blood pressure, and was overweight. After going carnivore (initially keto for a few months) my health has significantly improved. Gout gone. Lost 60 pounds and had to get different clothes and belts. Joint pains gone. Blood pressure is awesome--lower than it has ever been my entire adult life. The A-fib is considerably improved.
I also had thought carnivore seemed weird and even a bit crazy when I first heard of it. But now, I'm convinced that what we have been acclimated to think is a normal, healthy diet is completely wrong. The body needs protein and animal fat. We actually do not need to eat any carbohydrates--our bodies can make its own glucose to completely meet our needs. Sugars, carbohydrates (especially processed) and vegetable seed oils over time cause harm to our bodies.
When we cut out the junk we don't need and start adopting a more appropriate way of eating for our true physiological needs, the body can begin to repair and heal from years of harm. This takes time. I've seen many anecdotes (especially women) that it can take a year or longer to substantially recover and heal from years of chronic problems.
Women especially tend to eat far too little protein and fat for their body's needs. When starting to heal, women can need especially high amounts of animal fat to repair and recover from years of deep-seated issues that need time to heal.
And please note: physicians (and all health care providers) do not get adequate training in nutrition. Sadly, they are typically in the dark when it comes to the proper diet for optimal health and healing. The rare doctors who are truly knowledgeable about this learned on their own. The typical education and training in health care is woefully devoid of sound nutrition information.

Cameron, it is so refreshing to hear another women let alone a Catholic women who’s battling chronic illness and still remaining steadfast and faithful through it all. It’s very humbling and comforting to watch you share your health struggles. As soon as you said you rely on a walker, in and out of the hospital, and deal with numerous random symptoms, I knew I needed to comment. I’m in my mid 30s, have been struggling with Crohn’s disease for 19 years and on top of that, I’ve developed hypothyroidism, bladder conditions, psoriasis, ecsema, PTSD, anxiety and depression. I may even have PCOS. Ive had two major surgeries and also had to fight for my life nearing death. I constantly need assistance and rely on a walker/wheelchair to get around. So your experience really hits home. I’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars on all kinds of alternatives desperate for any kind of break. And I do agree with Matt, although it’s so beautiful that ppl want to advise and help with your health, it’s very frustrating. I have an educational background in nutrition and studied it just so I can help myself and hopefully help others. I’ve tried many healing diets but currently restricting my diet to mixture of carnivore, specific carbohydrate diet and elemental diet and have discovered some benefits so far. Overall, I’ve noticed a high protein diet with no gluten, dairy, and sugar has always helped me regardless. Anyways, I just want to thank you for having the courage to share all of your negative and positive experiences with your health. I pray you continue to recover and only see improvements ahead of you. God bless! 🙏
