I try to show all the things that arnt shown without being too boring/repetitive , if I've already shown how to do something in a previous vid I tend to be brief with it in the next video as to not repeat myself.
Dude, I've been following you in Instagram for a few years now and I've just came across this video, I see you already have some regularish videos so you've definitely have a new describer in me!
Great work dude! Found your IG randomly a few years ago and have really enjoyed your content. Love that you finally started making YT vids! Keep up the good work🙏
Cool channel my friend, like the cosmos restoration here in the UK Yorkshire car restoration (I recommend it great guys) are rebuilding another cosmos and facing the same issues that you are. ♥️😍
Just found your channel on my recommendations Nate you're super talented for a young fella ,l'll definitely be coming back to check your project progress ❤ your work man👍
This is a great channel. Came back to this video after seeing Jays rotary on his channel. Straight up, I reckon (time permitting), do the work and run some clear audio over the top narration style. The work is amazing and out of bounds for the average UA-cam weekend warrior. Excited to follow the journey of the cosmo’s and to learn the techniques and what is actually possible on restoring and retro modding a vehicle. Keep up the amazing work!!
@@notevn - that’s a great idea with the headphones. Would make editing later heaps easier. Mate is pressuring me to start up my channel so I’m being critical of things that I like and don’t like in the channels I watch. He has his own channel and business off the back of the channel. Love your work that you’re doing. It’s not the glory stuff that a lot of channels focus on. It’s the grinding it out, learning the lessons and getting it right. I see heaps of value in watching channels like this. An expert is someone that has made all the mistakes.
Some quality cars there! Another metal shaping channel called "Make it Kustom" is good if you need ideas for the point of view filming. Keep up the good work 👍
Awesome intro! Really looking forward to future videos, more in depth as you said. Followed on Instagram for quite a few years now, always love to see how you tackle the various rust repairs so I can relate it to my own hobby adventures on my 1989 Honda Civic 4WD Wagons.
Thanks for the recommendation Low Standards, this channel is my jam just like yours ❤️ Very excited to see more considering I have similar cars in my collection 👌
Love the Chanel already. Can’t wait to see the work on the Cosmo. I’m working on my first ever project car ( HG kingswood station wagon). Big job heaps of rust in bad places lol. I’m learning as I’m going and watching UA-cam vids to help.
Best way to learn is to have a go. My main advice is to make all the patch panels before you cut anything out. Cutting it out is the easy part. And it's very easy to make the wrong shapes once it's cut out ,also it might be a week or two between cutting it out and continuing so you forget how it even goes.
@@notevn thanks for the advice mate. I would of started cutting before making the patches. Making patches is hard as I only have hand tools and a vice.
Hand tools are all you need. It just takes longer and it's hard work. The machines speed up the process . There is people in thailand/malaysia doing incredible work , on the floor in an open chicken shed. Crazy as. I Still dont even own a vice haha.🤣
Dude congrats! So glad you decided to do yt vids, I reckon you are gona do extremely well with how many people are going to be watching your vids! Keep it up mate I look forward to following the journey and learning more along the way🤘
I first found you via your coupe thread on JDMST back in the day (would be 10 years ago now) and seeing you start your fab journey was awesome. Have been quietly following on insta for years now, I hope you keep up the videos 🙏
Soooooo keen. I have been following your Instagram for at least 10 years. Back when the Stagea had a RB25. I will be honest I have been one of the people requesting a UA-cam channel. You are one of the coolest and most talented dudes around. Super keen to see more content. Already subscribed. Why did you not try and sell the Stagea after that guy paid and spaced on you. Thanks mate. 👍
Mate! Epic stuff man. You have come so far since Kebab King. Loved all your short vids on Facebook and insta. So keen to see the more technical side of things on your new youtube
Thanks mate, yeah i can't stand the r34 front on them it doesn't flow at all, everything is wrong the bodyline disappears, the bonnet height and angle is wrong, the wheel arches are different, it's so popular because it's such an easy bolt on type conversion.
Epic mate. Glad to see you on YT, stick it out early on and it’ll pay off for you long term. …still will watch your 5min POV instagram story’s tho haha
Wow im excited When i first started working i had to sell 2 13b bridge ports 12a bridge port and my 83 datsun ute so i could pay to do my papers biggest regret of my life....
Great to see you've graduated to some longer form content! Very excited to see these builds take shape! Sing out if you ever need an extra set of hands for filming or working!
Terrific video mate! Love seeing builds like these and can always appreciate the time, skill and effort it takes. Hope to get a bit more into it myself in the near future so keep the videos coming 🤙
i'm genuinely excited to see this thing running, super cool. edit: that 1200 is absolutely beautiful, i can tell just how much time and work has gone into it.
The cosmo sold it for me. Here for the ride mate. You got my sub.
Me 2 from Wollongong.
This could be my new fav channel
I really enjoy watching rebuilds of rare and classic basket cases and lost causes. I don't think I've ever seen a Cosmo, even in Japan.
I had never seen one until I took the job on, and then was contacted to take on another and then I somehow ended up owning one 😅 crazy to think about
Holy shit man, that Cosmo hardly had any left to hold it together! Big ups for taking a job like that on.👏🏼
Haha it's probably the rustiest car I've seen in my life, i was definitely not at the skill level to be taking it on when I did.
@@notevn well, you are doing an amazing job. 👏🏼
Awesome! Finally, someone that shows how to actually do all the work. Looking forward to more of your vids!
I try to show all the things that arnt shown without being too boring/repetitive , if I've already shown how to do something in a previous vid I tend to be brief with it in the next video as to not repeat myself.
Mate what I just watched, I’ll be keen to keep watching
I would have clicked the like button, but it was sitting at 510, and wasn't going to be the person that ruined it.
Now I've done it.
What's with 510?
@@wazzazone Datsun 510
Ls s14a fronted stagea tow rig is the coolest combo I've seen in a longgggggg time! 👏
Thanks mate, I wish it wasn't so cursed and I could enjoy it.
New favorite channel 🤘
Legend, great to see this detail coming over to UA-cam from your Insta. Thanks!
I go away on holidays and come back to this news is the kind of news i like to see. congrats on the first video keen to see more.

Awwww fuck yeah! You’re right 1min clips isn’t enough but now I get to see it all and in the detail I crave! Onwards and upwards mate 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
You’ve got a real keen eye for this stuff, enjoyed watching and a bit easier to follow than Instagram 👌🏼
Thanks mate, yep definitely lose a tonne of important things on insta with no voiceover
Fuck man, thats wild.
On ya for saving the cosmo.
Just found your channel on my recommendations Nate you're super talented for a young fella ,l'll definitely be coming back to check your project progress ❤ your work man👍

Love ur work mate and all the cars but the stag wagon with the s14 s2 front looks so mint way better then a r34 gtr front it flows so well

Well done mate. Skills set is defo there. Get into it! oh and don't forget to send me the Datsun badge. I want mine on the road!
Hey boss keen to see this unfold! just wondering the size of your shed, looks mint!!
I think 19x7 from memory. Not tall enough for a mezzanine. 19x9 would be better. Extra width feel less cramped.
Great to see you've graduated to some longer form content! Very excited to see these builds take shape! Sing out if you ever need an extra set of hands for filming or working!

As for the 1200, an unbelievable amount of time ive spent on it over the years.
Exceptional workmanship mate, been following for many years now!
Nice shed setup as well, how big is it?
Thanks mate. Never big enough haha. It's 19x7 I think. The extra width of a 21x9 and taller for a mezzanine would be more ideal for this layout.
Look forward to th Chanel
Locked in.
