Well Steve/Ryan if it wasn’t for lads like you restoring and saving our older desirable cars to be around for decades to come thank you from we petrol heads brilliant as usual 👍🏻😉😉🇬🇧👏
I love what you guys do, more often than not it’s a lot of work to these cars back to some sort of solid recognisable shell, but this one your working on looks like there is very little to weld to, I think if it wasn’t for you guys this one would be a lost cause! Good on ya 👍👍👍
Incredible work guys. I still can’t fathom how you recreate those complex shapes, let alone how they go back together. Look forward to the next Cosmo Episode…
Gosh, what a job and what courage you have to grind out so much. I have been following you for a while and you are true professionals. A pleasure to watch and very educational. greetings from the Netherlands
WOW, a heck of a lot of real rust behind what looked like solid surfaces. But if you are going to do the job, do it right... And you two do it right every time... Thumbs Up!
brilliant job as normal guys, getting rid of all the catastropicness out of the cosmo definately worth saving for futue, great video cannot wait till next got to be the disasterouse datsun...
Hey, any updates on the Mazda Cosmo? That’s such an amazing car, I’ve only had a chance to see one once . That would be awesome if you guys did the whole resto on it, in a series of vids and eventually showed it driving .
I have just realised you need a new tool! What about a 3D metal printer! How cool would it be if you could cut out a rusty intricate panel, scan it and have it printed! I bet somebody somewhere will make one! Great vid as usual, does Steve keep checking on his baby? 👍🇬🇧
Nice ongoing work on 🐸correcting that collision damage, and looking for ward to the next step in the repair. Where is the Cosmo rotary engine, has it gone to a specialist for rebuilding? Are we going to see a video 🐞on the engine rebuild? There is also the option of fitting a normal Mazda piston engine of the era on these rotary models ~ they bolt right through. There is another iconic, beautiful car that we🐝 keep seeing in the background.........., the yellow BMW coupe on the lift. Whats the story on that?☘
Yes you will see the engine rebuilt as I do specialise in rebuilding rotary as the rotary engine has always been a passion of mine and hence I have been rebuilding them for the last 15 years :) (Steve)
@@yorkshirecarrestoration Which rotary goes I'm these and will it stay standard ( I'm thinking 13b Turbo) Will you continue to peel back that last of chassis rail, derust and reweld?
I’m surprised. I know there’s the crash damage and a lot of work to do, but it doesn’t look as rusty as I thought it might be - compared to some of the newer cars you’ve been working on
How long does it take to make a panel like this and do you usually make it in one to please? I agree with many of the other comments, this is amazing work. Metal Rembrandts.
Can I ask what you spray on the body? I’m planning on doing a project myself but I don’t have a lot of time to continuously work on it so I’d like to be certain I can spray something on that keeps the work i’ve done good and still allows me to weld through later.
I believe it is Upol #2 weld through primer. The high zinc content and not the high copper content stuff. I used it recently and welding with it works surprisingly well.
This is fascinating, if I was 50 years younger I would be banging on your door begging you to teach me these skills! Thanks for the videos lads. 👍😁
I reckon there would be a queue!
Was thinking same!... Nuff said!. 🙂
Well Steve/Ryan if it wasn’t for lads like you restoring and saving our older desirable cars to be around for decades to come thank you from we petrol heads brilliant as usual 👍🏻😉😉🇬🇧👏
I love how Steve just pops up from any given engine bay 🤣great work lads - great to watch!
The work on this car is starting to get very interesting. Can't wait for the next video.

Super job the level of expertise and craftsmanship going into this car is really captivating I’m enjoying seeing you making it all better again 👍
Great to see the level of attention you are paying to a rare car. Can’t wait for when the new metal goes back in.

This one is really a labour of love, going to be a beaut when finished.
Oy! Teasers! Show us just enough to get us to the next vid! Ha ha. You got me hooked. Cant wait for the next fix.
You've taken the production up a level, and as always, excellent work.
Really good music choices btw, very soothing! A lot of people pick too heavy stuff and it spoils the effect a bit. Great editing!
Be good to see some new metal going back on. At least it'll be straight! 👍
Don’t care how long this takes I love seeing everything you do even if I see you cut out a hundred panels time and time again it’s brilliant I love it
Eure Arbeit ist spannender als ein Krimi. 🖍✂🔨

You guys are just simply amazing 🤩 There’s more rust on the Titanic than that Mazda lol 😝 Keep the good work up 👍🏻
This is beyond restoration. This is car archeology.
Another good one. Good quality video now as well. Keep them coming!
I'm sure getting my Cosmo fix on youtube these days, with you handling this, and @notevn fixing 3 more of these rustbucket Cosmos!
Super video. I can't wait for the next one.
عملا جيد يا رجال لا تتأخر علينا في بقية العمل
Thanks for the video. That front could have been alot worse. Think you lucked out it was just between bumper and wheel arch. Looking good!👍
brilliant job as normal guys, getting rid of all the catastropicness out of the cosmo definately worth saving for futue, great video cannot wait till next
got to be the disasterouse datsun...
That car is going to look so good when its finished!!
For use isn't mistery !!! Simply to watch is injoyed !!!
Absolute legend
Great work guys!
You did a extremely good job Ryan 👏 mighty fine fabrication you and your dad.
13:39 the frustration on his face says it all.
you fix the sound track ;)..now it's better :)
Steve, this car seems like an onion - you peel back one layer and expose another. Eventually you'll get to the core!😁
Fantastic

Wow got your work cut out for you in this rebuild excuse the pun, serious rebuild 👍💯
Thank you very much for the video
Fun fact: if you watch these videos in reverse it looks like they are restoring an abandoned shell using magic tools and make a perfect car
awesome content
Oh Glorious Hammering.
How many labour hours do you guesstimate you've put in when the chassi is finished?
Another one for the algorithm.
Nice
rebuild in entirety by hand x 2

Always a mx5 in the back ground rusting away lol.
wow !! you must have been nervous cutting huge chunks off that super rare mazda steve ?

Have you lot ever thought of doing a star wars helmet ✌🏻
After the disaster here the catastrophe. What could be a cataclysm?
The best
