Great video. Just built mine and it's great. For additional tips, Rep Fitness sells the pads + foot rollers in the U.S. I used a piece of paper to mark where the holes on the pads were, then transferred that to the wood and it worked perfectly.
Just built mine to the same height. Should've made it about a foot shorter with the high column about 20" instead of 32 would be a little safer if something happens. In the US rep fitness sells the same pad but with foot rollers for $55 I used 18" 3/4 pipe with caps on each end and 3" spacing between bottom of top pad and top of bottom pad. Added some 45 braces to the columns instead of the osb. Thanks and keep it up! Used 5.5" 1/2 bolts for foot hold and m8x55 for seat bolts
I love to watch you tinker and create. I would be forever in your debt if you would design a combo nordic curl machine with an adjustable angle bench past the knees to allow scaling the rom/difficulty. And, it should also easily convert into a sissy squat machine and be relatively portable. I can imagine that it would lay flat for storage. It might resemble the Rogue floor ghr.
Nice. It seems bigger than it needs to be. Does the base need to extend that far behind the foot plate? And does it need to be that high? I'm hoping to make one myself soon.
Hej Michael De er købt hos Strengthshop.de - kan se de er udsolgt pt. men de får ofte varer hjem. Her er link: www.strengthshop.de/glute-ham-developer-compact-model-replacement-pads-1-pair
Hmm, then I would make so the 4 connections (each end, bottom and top) can "rotate"/pivot, this can be done by using just one bolt in each corner. To make sure it stays folded out when in use, I'd manually add one bolt in one of the corners, that would prevent them from rotating. I'd also make it much shorter and probably a nit lower, so it doesn't take up much space when folded. The center vertical could be left out.

Do you know roughly how much timber you used?
Any ideas on how to make one that folds away?
