Different countries, different prices, different perspectives. In Australia, the prices of Seal are unbeatable, cheaper than Model 3. Also here in Australia the indicator stalk is the correct way, unlike Model 3 which has no stalk at all. Plus Model 3 has the stupid ways of changing gears (on the screen or overhead buttons).
What do you mean with "Plus Model 3 has the stupid ways of changing gears ". I'm not aware of any gears on a Tesla, so I think you mean something else. The BYD Seal is about $3000 less expensive than a Tesla Model 3. So that's a thing indeed. Whether or not this is an unbeatable price difference? In overal, the Model 3 is a better car with (probably) a higher sale price after 5 years and cheaper to run (less kWh per km). The Model 3 has a better ride quality and seriously more boot space. So, it really depends if those stalks are worth the difference. p.s. I like the looks of the Seal better, but the new Model 3 is not an ugly car either.
@@BendeVette probably means by "gears" changing to drive, reverse, etc. The Seal in Australia is $51k on-road (in QLD) and the Model 3 is $65k on-road. That's a little more than $3k difference ;) However, the $51k is the "dynamic" version, which is one level lower than the one shown in this video. Not even worth considering. If you compare the Seal Premium, which is equivalent to the one from the video, then you're talking $5k difference. About resale value, it's hard to tell, but I would bet on Tesla holding the value better than BYD. Both would still be bad though. One thing not covered in the video is the "safety" features of the BYD, which tries to send you to oncoming traffic, and the "auto pilot" that can't even keep you in the lane. Features you have to disable on every single drive so the car doesn't try to kill you.
I just had a test drive of a Seal Premium and Dolphin top range today. Seal has very attractive exterior when I see it in person. Nicely designed interior feels like traditional car interior with all the buttons so those who like physical buttons will like it. However, the deal breaker for me was the flimsy infotainment system and the lag of one pedal driving. Also the dash screen was not designed in intuitive way so even though it displayed a bunch of information, none of them is useful while driving. Their hardware looked pretty good, however, they need to work on the software way much more. With the price gap of $3k from Tesla Model 3, I would go and buy a tesla Model 3. Seal has a value for people who don’t want many features from a car but for me Tesla is way more advanced in terms of feature wise. My conclusion is, BYD’s hardware almost matches Tesla’s one but the software and the features are far less advanced at this stage. No netflix, no UA-cam, no browser, no sentry mode, no pin to drive, no pin to glove box, no auto hold on a steep road, having to start and stop the car and etc. are what it’s missing compared to. Tesla. Dolphine was quite good but the price range of over $45k AUD is not really attractive for what the car is.
The new Tesla model 3 Highland is a non-starter for many people as it's too minimalistic. This car looks great and is more conventional to suit buyers moving to an EV.
Have you tried the new Model 3? I was VERY sceptical towards the indicators in the wheel, but it took me only half my 30 min test drive to get completely used to it. Not a problem at all. And changing "gears" through the screen is very easy. The car can even choose for you if it detects an obstacle in front of you it'll assume you'll want to go backwards.
I prefer the styling of the Seal, exterior and interior, compared to the Tesla. I do want to see instrumentation in front of me and not just in a central position.
Looks are subjective, Tesla is more streamlined, BYD takes a more additional approach in my opinion. Front looks better than TM3 Highland, the back worse than Highland (BYD looks far too asian for my taste). Tesla gives a spaceship vibe, BYD standard car vibe, nothing good nothing bad. Software design, UI structure, translations, animations, service mode, games, native built-in apps, mobile app integration, driver profile synchronization and portability between cars, as well as screen computer performance are 500 times better in the Tesla obviously, same as with Autopilot, BYD Seal autopilot can't keep it in lane centered on European roads in recent testing, Tesla does it no problem. BYD on the other hand offers Android Auto integration for example, while Tesla uses completely own OS. Interior BYD has traditional design, Tesla again most things on the touchscreen. BYD offers premium upgrade to get a Heads up display, Tesla does not. Personally, having driven the Highland, I did not miss any display in front of me, but that is subjective and everyone definitely should test drive both! Personally I don't like the glossy surfaces in the BYD interior, but this is personal taste. Storage space is more in the Tesla, and frunk is bigger in the Highland. In the Model 3, the rear seats folded down do present a much flatter surface than in the BYD, making camping in the Tesla vastly superior. (plus camp mode in Model 3 is very nice). Model 3 also comes with Matrix LED adaptive headlights at no additional cost in Europe, which is a HUGE plus, especially driving long windy roads or on the freeway at night, BYD does not offer any such feature. According to a review by an actual EV mechanic, BYD uses a legacy approach for the ABS sensor design at the wheel axis, which means it will be broken 100% in less than 8 years requiring extensive repairs. Additionally, BYD is heavier and bulkier than Model 3, with tires being too small to support it when doing erratic maneuvers, when compared to Model 3 the ESP had to engage every single time on BYD to keep it on the road. Maintainability is far easier on the Tesla, because on the BYD, a mechanic needs half an hour to only unscrew the underbody shield (70 to 80 small screws) to even be able to diagnose any problem if such occurs. Model 3 uses like 5 big screws, done. Tesla service centers are far more present here in Europe, I don't even know where I could take the relatively new BYD for repairs. BYD has average working auto wipers, Tesla still has a problem with the wiper speed in rain (got better but still needs work). Sound system definitely superior and louder in the Model 3 having listened to both. Model 3 is more efficient than the Seal no question, need to charge less electricity as a result and saving money. Fast charging speed is faster in Model 3 than BYD Seal What I noticed is BYD is faking pictures of their car on the website, in real life the gap between wheels and chassis is bigger than on the pictures, but many Chinese car brands are doing this practice to make it look slightly better on marketing images. Tesla images seemed normal for me. Cheers!
Come on Doug, wiper and light stalks the wrong way around is a negative? Surely the bulk of the Japanese cars you get in the UK are the same, no one seems to mention it when reviewing them.
You're correct, the Seal is the correct way round for a right hand drive car, we have been driving LHD converted euro cars and the manufacturers can't be arsed swapping the stalks so we have accepted it as standard. We need to be less stupid and ignorant. Nearly all Japanese cars in the UK are setup as the euro style with indicators on the left. They are probably laughing at us all the time.
Indeed, this reviewer must be a bit slow, because I swap between left and right handed stalk cars in my garage and have adapted just fine by the first corner. Try swapping between stalks and NO stalks - now that is a problem. Clearly this guy is heavily biased.
A lot of car reviewers said that the rotating screen is a gimmick. I think it is useful to use portrait view for navigation. isnt that what we use in our phones??? Why is it when is something new is offered and because they dont understand its use, it is branded a gimmick???!!! I rest my case.
If that was gimmicky, then Model 3 must be gimmick king!! From the door handle, dash dashboard, to the turning light switch, touch screen shift!!! that's crazy!
@@weizheng7885so true but you'll never hear them mention all that gimmicky stuff on the model 3. Just because they don't understand it doesn't mean it's gimmicky.
But, but, but...thanks for review but it felted a little nitpicking...I've been in both this and TM3 highland and for me this feels lot more premium. Tesla has supercharging network, but very many other things is better in seal than in TM3. Anyway, competition is good for customers 👍
I see it the other way. BYD feels cheap. I know it is not cheap, costs +/- about the same, but i would only take it into account if they sell white seats, a working Software and App, working heatpump and lower their prices.
So I believe you have drove both if you can say BYD feels cheap? White seats, sorry what? Working heatpump? What's wrong with app. I have droved many teslas and software is good, but other softwares can be good too, different but good. It's same with phones that some say IOS is best when others say android. Here's one from me, Seal is way better looking inside and out than TM3!! If you think otherwise, you are wrong.
@@Micco321 "but other softwares can be good too" Yes they can. BYD is not one of them. And that is objectoively the case. I could point out every single point where BYD Software is worse than Tesla, Nio, even VW in most parts. The material inside feels cheap. It smells like cheap plastic. Teslas do not smell in any way. IOS or Android is roughly the same. I prefer IOS because it has advantages for my company vs Android - which i have to maintain and install for my customers so i know both well. BYD Software is about as far as Tesla's Software was in 2012. I don't really care for looks, but still Model 3 looks much better without stalks. It's a clean and efficient workspace. Again i do not care for the outside looks. Wifey says she prefers Model 3 - so a Model 3 it is. No i am not wrong. And you are not wrong too. That is my opinion. If you have a different one that is perfectly ok.
@@Crusde I was only talking about cars, not politics. That topic is endless so I don't comment about it more here. Btw, could you tell me a car brand from Europe without any Chinese parts?
Reviewers back at it again 😂 I've had one for 4 weeks so here we go: Aircon controls are on the steering wheel and center console. The kwh figure is not annoying as anyone driving should be looking at the road. The issue with not seeing the screen can be easily solved by moving your hand or your head to check whatever you want to check. Strong smell of plastic is a what everyone else calls the "new car smell". I've had multiple passangers in the back and have had no complaints about the seat comfort, it's actually the opposite. You can open the boot with they key or using a button on the door if you didn't want to touch the boot. My indicator is on the left. Design version is plenty fast and super fun on the back roads. Stick it into eco mode and it's a super comfortable cruiser.
Hi there , with having your car for your weeks, I’m wondering where you live. Mine gets delivered around 20 March and was wondering if the uk seals have been altered on the stalks of the steering column, Thanks !!
@@stevehodgson7487 I'm in Ireland, I placed my order late last year so was able to get one of the early lots coming in. I believe the very first few cars that landed had the indicator on the right.
Thanks for your early reply. I’m hoping my indicators are on the left, but if not I suppose I’ll get used to it eventually. The garage has confirmed it has arrived at the dock, but last week they got a design model in and the stalk was the opposite way round, Guess I’ll have to wait and see. Anyway, enjoy your new car and happy motoring.😎😎
@@stevehodgson7487 personally it wouldn't have been an issue for me, we have a Japanese car as well and that has right hand side indicators so I'm just used to having to make that mental switch fairly quickly. Thanks and you too! It's a lovely car you won't regret it.
The camera captured the beauty of the car 😍 This guy is obviously biased against BYD or China. Or maybe he is a Tesla share holder . With an MG umbrella, he was very attentive and took every opportunity in mentioning some made up reasons to prove how Tesla and competitors are better. But took no effort in mentioning where this car is better.
@@magnusborneo6264 Clearly you consider only the reviews that say the BYD is better. Thankfully there is not a single review where the final conclusion is that the Seal is better than the new Model 3
It's is exactly the review I expected from this guy unfortunately. Constantly going on about what he thought the cars weaknesses were with very few positives, he mentioned the cars name multiple times negatively etc etc. I remember him saying the Hyundai Ioniq 6 wasn't that good in a previous review!!. The reality is, unless it's a Tesla or an Apple phone (which he mentions) it'll always be second best in his eyes!!. That's why I take whatever he says with a pinch of salt...
yeah I noticed that brits are crying that this car is not a tesla/rolls/porsche. Tbh if chinese could make car which looks the best in my opinion (check latest electrify with shadow green seal) in so short time, with good build quality - they are on good path to make much better cars.
I agree. After all the negative nonsense he said about the Polestar 2 vs. the Model 3 this is what I expect from him. Nothing can live up to the Model 3 where he just doesn't see the many shortcomings it has.
So, about the name... If Tesla had released the Tesla Seal, people would be ooh-ing and ahh-ing about how clever it is. Anyone does it - it's a silly name, pick a random set of letters and numbers next time. About the price, how much would a Model 3 be if specced up to be as similar as possible (lets say you choose a paint colour other than white)
yeah that name issue of this youtuber was... weird. It s simply name. Maybe for english people might be 'meh, but for international customers is ok. To be honest ABCD class or id3/4 -mg4, Tesla X means nothing , feel empty. The idea of giving normal names of animal was interesting, refreshing.
if Tesla is like apple BYD is like Samsung. it would be in the best interest of automakers to work on their software and battery manufacturing capabilities in-house. BYD is originally a battery maker as their USP is their great battery chemistry and manufacturing.
I personally don't think this review is fair, although I do agree with his comments on the center screen. I'm not a fan of the Seal, nor of the Tesla Model 3. My work requires me to split my time evenly between the UK and China, and I don't own cars in either place. However, I recently completed an EV tour in China, and I was spoiled for choice. If I ever need to permanently relocate back to the UK, I would struggle with buying an EV here for one reason: the price comparison. Knowing how much they cost in China, I find it hard to justify paying £46,000 for a Seal. For that amount, I'd be considering a Zeekr 009 in China, which is superb. Alternatively, if I wanted to indulge in my childhood dream, I'd be looking at the Xiaomi Su7 for half the price. :)
Referring to base prices is not very informative. Tesla and BYD offer everything as standard. The others offer most things on higher trim levels and as options. Configure a Polestar 2 or an Ioniq 6 to match the Seal and you'll be paying at least 15K more. They are not direct competitors price wise. Tesla and BYD are in the same bracket, but the rest are far more expensive.
I drove a Seal with a head up display and it was only a test drive so I didn't fiddle around with the settings but I thought the HUD was very bright. Hope there is a way to dim it. I also found having the indicators on the right side of the wheel was very annoying. It's still better than having no indicator stalk at all like the Tesla 3 which is safety nightmare. Driving wise it seemed quite refined but it rolls rather than being 1-pedal. I think the infotainment screen is too big imo and the rotation is just a stupid gimmick. Should just fix it a bit lower in the vertical config and for android auto / carplay, split the screen so aircon and other controls appear below them.
In Australia, we also drive on the left hand side and the indicator on the right side of the steering wheel is considered the correct side. This meant when you drove a manual, you could indicate as you were changing gears. The European cars with the indicaor on the left hand side in considered incorrect there, interesting what you get used to and I heard no justification from the journalist as to why the indicator is conisdered to be on the wrong side and what difference does it make other than what he is used too.
the problem with the two versions of the SEal is that whilst most people should just buy the base model, when the top spec model is only 3 grand more, on a lease you're not really going to notice the difference
The top spec Seal is the one to get, you get real soft Napa leather seats and an amazing torque vectoring system that seems to defy the laws of physics (and is a top notch active safety aspect also). The 500 hp is not to shabby also.
This car needed to be a hatch... then it would truly have an edge on the Model 3. the BYD Seal U (SUV) is a bit uninspiring and performance is poor. On rear seats, it seems to be at a factor in a lot of EVs - model 3 rear seats offer equally little under-leg support, so not sure taht would be any better.
I like how BYD puts the indicator stalk on the right for RHD cars, even in the UK, unlike Japanese cars that have them on the left in RHD just to meet the ISO standards.
The model 3 is better from which point of view? Looks? Nope. Performance? Nope. Interior? Nope. Price? Well.... not where I live when you don't want a dime a dozen color or wheels. I drove both, the seal design and M3 Highland. I like the driving better in the Seal.
Yes, Model 3 performance is far ahead of the Seal - top speed of the Model 3 Performance is 162mph, top speed of the Seal (all versions) is 112mph. Charging rate, 250kW vs. 150kW. The Model 3 is a minimalist design with very little clutter, not even steering column stalks on the latest model. The Seal is a lot more ornate, with two screens, quilted seats, various strange features outside like the gills under the doors and the swage line that leads nowhere. When you sit in both of them, you see how much more spacious and comfortable the Model 3 feels. The beauty is more than skin deep. It extends to things like putting in a destination far away and knowing exactly where and for how long to charge, as the car works out elevation, speed, temperature changes so you don’t have to think about any of that. Making things simple is a hallmark of good design
@@alexshepherd So, you are still in the fase of comparing numbers huh? I don't need your over the top post to understand that the BYD Seal is the better car by driving both myself. By the way, there is no Highland performance and I'm not buying an old model especially when the front is ugly as hell.
@@hermanstokbrood you did ask the question “the Model 3 is better from which point of view?” - and the numbers I offered seemed to make it clear. Feel free to enlighten us on how the driving is better in the Seal. You’re right, there are people that won’t be interested in the numbers
@@alexshepherd I don't have to judge a car by a specsheet. If I drive one I know. I drove Highland RWD and the Seal RWD. The Model 3 is no match for the Seal for me personally. But you still may think so.
@@darrenbodfish4591 i think mainland china is even cheaper, i think in HK we still need to pay the import duty coz it is 2 different system, and we also drive on the right in HK (same as UK).
Agree with you totally bout the consumption figure on the screen - far better just to have range up there than lower down in smaller display. It's some car to drive tho & soooo quiet
I think it's nice to have both, but I personally use the consumption figure more in my daily drives. The calculated range is very much an estimate which many folks never get to hit
Why is the indicator considered to be on the wrong side, is it just what you are used too. How did the indicator work on the left hand side when you were driving a manual. Having owned manuals with the indicators on both the right and left side I can tell you the right side is better. Rather than just complain about it, tell us what the issue is with the indicator being on that side, I can't see what difference it makes, other than a slight adjustment which would take about a week.
Actually a dial would be better, like on the older EVs, the old Leafs and Ioniqs I believe, as that helps conserve energy and moderate your usage. Very helpful if you are running low on battery.
It's not 1/2 the price... the $51k Aus version is not the same base version as the UK - their base is our Premium ($59k). Australia also has no import tariff (UK=10%) a lower GST / VAT (10% Aus v 20% UK) , 1/2 the shipping costs (East coast Aus v Grimsby UK), a direct selling model (dealer model in the UK they need to recoup dealer margins).
Anything from China...NO THANKS! Build quality is not in their forte and depreciation will drop like a rock. But best of luck (and a moment of silence) to potential buyers. At least the car looks nice.
Do you know how many of our cars are made in China!! Not to mention other everyday key items like iPhones, converse, Nike, Dell, Ray bans, Volvo, BMW, VW, HP, Samsung TVs just to name a few. Made in China isn't the same as it was 20 years ago.
If you can buy this car at the price of 18K from China, then all comparisons will be a joke at such a low price. In addition, I really don’t understand why. The American brand Tesla is much more expensive in North America than in China. Model 3 only costs 30k USD in China.
It is sour grapes for all these people, because it is Chinese high-tech. They are very happy with TESLA cheap build, panel gaps, cost cutting buttonless low resolution screen, no android auto, no Lidar take these guys reviews with a bucket of salt
Recently test drove a model 3 and a byd seal. The back seats of the seal are lovely, not problematic as the reviewer says, and the suspension was so much nicer than the tesla, which I found crashy and fidgety.
Could you please tell me if any electric car makes a noise at slow speeds to warn people of it's approach.I am coming to the end of my motability lease and it seems like I must choose between being green or hating driving in built up area's?
That is the rub with EV; lack of charging infrastructure, range limitations, time it takes to charge, repair costs - especially if battery develops a fault or needs replacing and also UK's sky high extremely obscene energy bills.
Obviously the Chinese don’t think Tesla is better as BYD sold more ……😊. Perhaps they are really cheap in China though. Was surprised to see the price differential in UK between Tesla and BYD. Suspect Tesla can increase their prices now 😅
For the European market they are both made in China and apparently Tesla now use BYD battery packs, basically ALL cars will soon be Chinese imports within a few years.
I'd hazard a guess that most drivers who get cars with 'tons' of equipment don't use it.... Let's hope the new Renault 5, which looks about the coolest EV so far is a sensible price with fewer unnecessary gimmicks.
Now that's something I find quite interesting when comparing the Seal with a Model 3, in Brazil the Seal is the cheaper choice and by a long shot, here the seal is around R$ 300.000 while the model 3 goes for R$470.000, and just to make sure R$170.000 is enough to get you a really good car by itself. A difference in market objectives definitely, but just interesting to note.
Good job you didn’t start the video with the price. I watched assuming it was going to be a cheaper alternative to its rivals. This is more expensive due to the inevitable high depreciation.
it means there is air blowing out from the perforated fabric on your seats. It is really nice feature especially during a hot day.. your back wont get sweaty!
Looking at the range on your phone is not a downfall is it ? If you’re sat in the car waiting for it to charge, the chances are you’ll be on your phone anyways
I have sat in the BYD Seal's rear seats, and they are by far the best I have sat in at this price point. Seats are body hugging and its more reclined compared to its rivals, not to mention the legroom! Also I have driven it, and its throttle response is immense to say the least. I dont think he is giving a very honest review, very biased towards giving Tesla the crown as the "ultimate EV brand"
LFPs are a far safer chemistry than a lot of the other types, way less chance of battery damage causing a fire. Coupled with the fact they don’t suffer from being left at 100% state of charge this far outweighs the lower energy density .
I enjoy a bit of ( safe ) speed, the same as most drivers. But I can't understand the obsession with 0-60. On our roads in the UK. 5s is plenty quick enough in my opinion. I'd sooner get to 60 slightly slower, but have a better range. Also, surely it would also be better for insurance, as the vehicle wouldn't be classed in the super / hyper-car range. Or is it me just getting older?
So we have a car that has fantastic acceleration, mildly communicative steering, comfortable ride on battered UK roads, a big touchscreen, massive depreciation, and quite a high up front cost. But one if you like it, but I’ll keep my existing car, it’s entertaining to drive and doesn’t annoy me.
never thought about it before but the worst part about driving on that side of the car for most people must be that you have to use your left hand to manipulate the touch screen / controls
I rented a Tesla, a BYD and a Polestar for a variety of road trips. As per this review (10:12 to 10:38), the BYD ride is not good, and on a long trip it made us all feel a bit unwell.
@@peakproofuk Nothing wrong with a comparation. But the comparation is a bit so-so. There are rivals which are better? The i4 and Model 3 are a bit better, faster, etc. It's not objective enough. I like measurable differences, not a kinda opinion.

I'm sorry but what a shallow review, is the best use of your time really to nit pick on the indicator stalks or the location of the boot latch. I'm pretty sure different manufacturers install the indicator switch on either the left or right. Having owned a Model 3 and driven the seal for work, the seal is a better more comfortable vehicle
Here’s my advice: always search for Brits making reviews. It is part of their dna (!) not falling for every bell and whistle companies add to their products, like cars! I’m from Brazil and this has been the most sincere review of this car I’ve seen so far!

Its the best car i ve ever ridden and driven. Im comparing this to Audis and mercs and BMW's. Its a joke of a review if you ask me.
Not starting at £45k. What is this in China £23k. Oh what we would give to have prices like that. Looks a really nice Car watched a good few reviews. What BYD will do is learn and evolve quicker than any European marks, they will improve at speed. A one year old low miles Car second hand for £30k will be a better option. Six year Warranty over the usual European three years is a huge plus. I think people forget some of the first Tesla model 3 press Cars had parts fall off, thinks break and panel gaps a tractor manufacturer would be proud off. BYD are just finding their feet.
This review seems rather nit-picking to me. I strongly suspect that What Car would have been more positive if this had a German brand name for example!
Britain hasn't even bulit it's first EV, so it seems a bit rich for a Brit to talk negatively about an EV, just because it's not a Tesla! Get building your first EV, Lad, then we can talk!

Fast charging speed is faster in Model 3 than BYD Seal
What I noticed is BYD is faking pictures of their car on the website, in real life the gap between wheels and chassis is bigger than on the pictures, but many Chinese car brands are doing this practice to make it look slightly better on marketing images.

Japan is RHD country and stalks the same side as other rhd countries like aus and UK.

If that was gimmicky, then Model 3 must be gimmick king!! From the door handle, dash dashboard, to the turning light switch, touch screen shift!!! that's crazy!

Very nitpicking review 😢😢😢
My thoughts exactly especially how the west is running scared that china becoming the top ev producer. Seems like a very biased review
Hahahaha. Nitpicking is the core of English style review
Tesla and BYD are in the same bracket, but the rest are far more expensive.
not sure, but it feels really cold
in Australia we have Dynamic, Premium and Performance versions
Yes, spoke to an elderly gentleman who could not praise his enough, it was the suv style one with the funky interior finishes 👍

Yep. I’m fully expecting the price to come down significantly over the next 12 months or so.

Still costs £40k in the UK, too expensive for working class people like me, I live in a terrace house, how do you charge your car in this situation?
That is the rub with EV; lack of charging infrastructure, range limitations, time it takes to charge, repair costs - especially if battery develops a fault or needs replacing and also UK's sky high extremely obscene energy bills.

Obviously the Chinese don’t think Tesla is better as BYD sold more ……😊. Perhaps they are really cheap in China though. Was surprised to see the price differential in UK between Tesla and BYD. Suspect Tesla can increase their prices now 😅
For the European market they are both made in China and apparently Tesla now use BYD battery packs, basically ALL cars will soon be Chinese imports within a few years.
pretty sure it's made in Hungary
Is the byd as prone to randomly bursting into flames or getting recalled?
Why is this even a question? BYD is the number one right now and the leader in the EV industry with the most advanced tech there is.
Self-ignite feature as shown on videos? No thanks

Good job you didn’t start the video with the price. I watched assuming it was going to be a cheaper alternative to its rivals. This is more expensive due to the inevitable high depreciation.
So, in the UK, standard BYD Seal's price is higher than Model 3. Interesting. In China, Model 3 is 10000 US dollar higher than Seal.
Probably not but it’s better looking

it means there is air blowing out from the perforated fabric on your seats.
Negative review? Haven't watched it yet but this is a regular electric vehicle review from these guys
LFPs are a far safer chemistry than a lot of the other types, way less chance of battery damage causing a fire. Coupled with the fact they don’t suffer from being left at 100% state of charge this far outweighs the lower energy density .
Amazing how far the Chinese have come in a relatively short time. Still not for me though. Interesting and informative review as always.
No physical controls, no interest
Does this car make the "Bluetooth connected" sound when you start it?
How many miles an hour you can drive?
do the backseats fold forward to fit golf clubs and buggy into?
yes they do 60/40
I enjoy a bit of ( safe ) speed, the same as most drivers.
Yes it is better than Tesla. SHi SHI!
What other battery that don't catch FIRE IN ACCIDENTS? LFP is the best so far that is most important 😊

Its the best car i ve ever ridden and driven. Im comparing this to Audis and mercs and BMW's. Its a joke of a review if you ask me.
£33,7000 (according to current exchange rate) here in Thailand for the AWD version
They still have, build quality of a Russian Lada.

This review seems rather nit-picking to me. I strongly suspect that What Car would have been more positive if this had a German brand name for example!
Agree
if the price around the same as the ioniq 5, i think i will go with the ioniq. seal drives better, but i like the ioniq interior better.
Britain hasn't even bulit it's first EV, so it seems a bit rich for a Brit to talk negatively about an EV, just because it's not a Tesla! Get building your first EV, Lad, then we can talk!
