Well, Waters joined Nick some years ago for one of his Soucerful of Secrets gig in the UK which shows that there is basically something between him and Gilmour. I hoped that age would make them get more reasonable and sensible to what really counts in life above any sort of resentment, in the view of the short time period of our lifetime...

I was born in 1984. So the first Pink Floyd album I consciously witnessed was The Division Bell. Eversince, David Gilmour will always be in his 50s in my mind. And I would give a kidney to here him play live once.
My family rented a nice sailboat for a couple of weeks 3 yrs ago - I think it was called the Rhea - anyway, it turns out that The Gilmour family has rented this same yacht a half dozen times or more. David kindly contributed a very nice Martin acoustic guitar to the boat so he'd have a guitar there when he showed up again. I played it for hours each day I was onboard - even bought new strings for it in the islands. Not trying to overdo it, but David is an inspiration to me. Captain Lawrence was a good guy and we greatly enjoyed talking about the guitar. I never asked about David and he never offered. Nice guitar, fantastic yacht - Pink Floyds' body of work speaks for itself - love to David

very nice to see David to do this and give this interview. I really enjoy seeing interviews with him. I grew up in the '80s and '90s listening to Pink Floyd daily, and saw them live in Philly in 1994.
