Thank you Roger. As an English woman with a Palestinian daughter in law I am so grateful for your comments. My daughter in law was living here in the UK but moved to Denmark to be closer to her Mum who had to leave everything they had and move the family there for their safety. She visit her grandparents in Palestine each year but always returns deeply saddened by the atrocities she has witnessed during her stay. She has worked and lived very happily in Denmark for some time but claims that over recent years there has been a turn around toward Palestinian people in Denmark, she no longer feels safe and feels the need to hide her identity. She and her family are the most kind and loving family one could wish to meet and they live in constant fear for relatives who remain in Palestine.
Not blaming the young lady, but as a foreigner myself (argentinian living in Germany) I have to generalize and we all have to accept that most of the people coming from certain countries, are causing lots of trouble and aren't (and don't want to) get integrated or respect western values, but rather impose theirs. So I can understand the Europeans getting tired and done with those ethnicities being a migrant my own self.

I agree with most of what you said. Except for the statement about democracy. It’s important to note that we don’t live in a pure democracy. It’s tainted by capitalism. And remember that the democracy you fear for has been doing business like this for longer than we have been alive. It ain’t going anywhere. The final cut is a really good album to listen to, roger touches on how much it hurt but in beautiful concept form. People trying to cancel Roger for using imagery in his concerts, from something he and the other members of Pink Floyd created, is so.. I can’t even describe it. Ridiculous. It shows people haven’t done their homework on The Wall. They would see that overall theme speaks about the dangers of isolation, justifications people make up for their faults, and in my opinion self sabotage. As a teenager, I watched "The Wall" and I saw it for what it was, a statement about how insane the world is. It's art. It is amazing, and the people that criticize it, have never watched it fully. If they had, they would know.

My daughter in law was living here in the UK but moved to Denmark to be closer to her Mum who had to leave everything they had and move the family there for their safety. She visit her grandparents in Palestine each year but always returns deeply saddened by the atrocities she has witnessed during her stay.
She has worked and lived very happily in Denmark for some time but claims that over recent years there has been a turn around toward Palestinian people in Denmark, she no longer feels safe and feels the need to hide her identity.
She and her family are the most kind and loving family one could wish to meet and they live in constant fear for relatives who remain in Palestine.

I saw Roger Waters in New York, US. There were protesters out front. He has always been political but if you listen to his music, you know he has always been on the side of the people. The show was awesome!

Roger ,, personally I've noticed in the last 3-5 years,,, the now international state-run news,,, Or should I say, "the western civilization state-run news? " as an individual who's about to be 51 , With the rise of the internet,, we all get to see things a lot more clear and more transparency than ever. However that's really not the case now is it? As the technology came in for us to be, more transparent and more united as human beings, this underlying movement has come into the picture or just has always been in the picture but before the rise of smartphones and instant filming they were masters of concealment. This also is not true anymore for people like yourself have exposed the real truth.. it used to be the news told us what was going on didn't have an opinion they just showed us what was what. I would say in the last 15-20 years,, that simply doesn't exist anymore there's always a narrative to play on..As a citizen of the United States back in the day of Peter Jennings being the anchor of ABC News was about the last time that news Outlet was legitimate.. for many years they were considered to be the best,, how they brought us the news how they conducted themselves delivering the news on a neutral basis... in more recent times for a moment Fox News seemed it to bring a somewhat neutral view although it still was through red lenses... currently in June of 2023 is extremely difficult to know exactly what is happening.. because now with everything changed at Fox News for the worst, it's like who win what you can trust... so I appreciate you mentioning DoubleDown news I immediately subscribed after watching your interview. For the things that you's invented it's not only being used in the music business it's being used in all professional recording studios.... all that aside. Not many of us have had the privilege to travel the world and see it for yourself.. Roger Waters will never be cancelled. My poppa is from London, England and was in London when the Nazis starting bombing by air. My poppa jumped on a British Navy ship which ended up in New Zealand after serving in Pearl Harbour. He died a few months ago at 92. Pink Floyd has been a massive part of my family artistically. Long Live Roger Water & Pink Floyd.

As a teenager, I watched "The Wall" and I saw it for what it was, a statement about how insane the world is. It's art. It is amazing, and the people that criticize it, have never watched it fully. If they had, they would know.

It's an iconic solo in the rock community and a sample of just how wonderful of a player David is. Pink Floyd wouldnt be the same without all of them combined but Comfortably Numb will never be the same without Gilmour's guitar
