11. Players Club International (With Telly Savalas)
12. "Monster Movie Marathon: Dracula" Commercial Bumper
13. Contour Lounge Chair (I much prefer the version with Art Linkletter and the "I got a VCR!" guy: tinyurl.com/y567tpxw)
14. Promo for "WWF Wrestling Challenge"
15. US Hot Rod Mud Bog Drag Racing Championships
16. Shaker's Lincoln Mercury Merkur (9:20 is that cat supposed to be a malfunctioning cyborg?)
17. Promo for "Horror Weekend" ("Fright Night", "Amityville III: The Demon", "Halloween III", "Carrie" and "Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes")
18. Promo for "Bustin' Loose" (This was a TV show adaptation of the 1981 Richard Pryor film of the same name. It lasted for one season in syndication. I guess it wasn't "DYNO-MITE" in the ratings)
19. "Monster Movie Marathon: Dracula" Commercial Bumpers
20. Diamond Cameo Pendant/Wristwatch (You might have been able to pass these off as vintage style jewelry but adding the cheap digital watch makes it look like a prize in a claw game. The girl here is cute and I wish I could stop her from wasting her money on garbage)
21. Hartech Hartford Technical Institute
22. Hair Loss Restoration (Ya gotta include Playboy in your list of leading publications)
23. AIDS PSA (With Ahmad Rashad. Donating blood was safe...but there were huge concerns about the blood supply when accepting transfusions back then)

25. Bricks For Artspace PSA (With Joanne Woodward en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artspace)
26. Ford Escort GT

30. Hartford Health Dept. AIDS PSA
31. "Monster Movie Marathon: Dracula" - Розваги
I love it how in the 3rd commercial they used John Carpenter’s Halloween theme song🎃
I don't know what's worse - car dealers LAUGHING at our credit or creepy faux-cat robots out to scare us!
I grew up on this station 😁
As far as the Cougar in #16, he always used that lol. So demented.
Monster movie marathon! 🎃
Monster Movie Marathon Bumpers- Looks like somebody went on a huge shopping spree at various thrift stores.
Salem’s Lot totally scary!
It's so strange to see a clip from Re-Animator in that station promo montage, and it's a shot of Jeffrey Combs taking notes. Talk about "Great Times!"
I just looked it up. Contour Lounge Chair sill around.
10:55, allow the former call center operator for a jewelry company preach on it. in gem parlance, the word "point" is used to refer to 1/10th of a carat. so a "genuine 1/4 point" diamond is 1/40th (or 0.025) of a carat...meaning it's not even a diamond chip.
D.C. Follies kind of reminds me of Spitting Image from the UK.
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes the worst movie ever made? I think not. I can think of much worse. Heck, the Killer Tomatoes had a small resurgence thanks to (of all things) Muppet Babies I kid you not. That cartoon used clips of the film for a particular episode, and it somehow got such a huge response, that it convinced them to do a sequel (featuring a young George Clooney), and eventually a Saturday Morning Cartoon series.
Killer clowns from outer space 🤣
I went as G.I. Joe for trick or treating this year. First time I used fake skin. Good times.
Stephen King's CARRIE
Quartz watch pendent, wow. That was thing? hehe
Where the heck did they find this Monster Movie Marathon host? He barely seems to be trying. He comes across as a kid show host who got suckered into hosting these segments, and his heart just wasn't into it.
That's most likely what happened.
Given that this was the tail end of the classic Ghost host era, my guess that the decades long host probably just retired or died and his/her replacements were just the weekend news crew
I don't think this was really intended to be a "horror host" type show...merely a marathon of Universal horror movies with some brief intros/outros and bumpers. It doesn't appear that WTIC ever had a mainstay horror host (there's a promo for Elvira's Movie Macabre here) so they probably did just rope in people who also worked at the station to in help out with this.
Another common practice for television stations was having popular radio DJs from sister radio stations host these special broadcasts. These guys may have been morning drivetime DJs or something.
@@hygge_angstrom They were morning DJs in Hartford Ct. The figures they're using have been greatly updated and can be seen year round at the Witch's Dungeon in Plainville Ct.
The worst movie is Manos hands of fate
Ugh, there needs to be more werewolf/beast movies...
