THANK YOU for doing the lords work and keeping the 80s going
Awe man...I don’t mean to be a downer and I know I say it all the time, but man I miss these days, I was a straight up 80s kid, as I am chilling here on my couch I want to cry I miss these days sooo much, I miss my childhood dog, I miss my grandma and I miss my mom, they were all there during the 80s decade and we had a blast. Iam 45now and watching these commercials just completely floods my heart and mind with the memories of these years. Everything was different. I thank you soooo much for putting these commercials together, ugh such nostalgia.
I do a lot of research XD I’m a total geek
Gotta love good ol' Ubu every time we see that iconic photo at the end of every episode of Family Ties 😁
"Hey! Where did my cut go?" I find it very cute how the kid says that line in the Band Aid Commercial.
That elephant in the Black and Decker Iron commercial has some smooth ironing skills, especially using just a trunk.
Boy, The Pilsbury Company was really expanding their product line over the years. Especially now hearing that they made microwave popcorn.
And imagine all the training time it took in those pre-CGI days for that elephant.
The main thing that I remember about The Misfits of Science is that it featured an appearance by actor Kevin Peter Hall (he was the black guy who says "Martians" at 3:24) without being covered by make up. Due to large size of over 7 feet, he was frequently cast as playing monster or creature roles, such as the Predator in the first 2 movies, or Harry the Bigfoot in Harry and the Hendersons. Sadly, he passed away from AIDS-related pneumonia at the age of 35 in 1991.
I loved the 80s...❤
80,s the greatest decade ever ❤️
We are still fixing the mess made since everyone was high on coke. Then again no internet trolls.
10. is definitely Pampers. I can confirm it.
The Pampers brand is owned by Proctor & Gamble and the commercial was sponsored by them, so it makes sense.
8:48 - Forget Lassie. Ubu will always be the dog I think of when I think television dogs.
Thanks for the time machine 🍭🦄🦇🎏
that "100% Florida Orange Juice" looks more like Grapefruit juice lol
thanks again for the memories
Apparently, when Mac decides to go into the restaurant business, EVERYONE loses their appetite.
I miss the Lipton tea man on the box.
He misses you as well.
@@Psychol-Snooper I should think so. I believe with all the Lipton my household bought, he had a nice retirement.
@@Emperorcalebtine XD
Sit, Ubu, sit...good dog...RUFF!
I used to think he was saying Boo Boo
@@robotsaysbeebooboop omg me too 😊
This whole time I was wondering how old I was during this time period (born in 1984) then I was like duh Halloween commercial I just turned 1 (October birthday) idk why but I love these commercials
October, 1985. I was 8 years old, in 3rd grade living in Quincy, MA just south of Boston. Was a vampire for Halloween that year I believe.
I'm sure Coldwell Banker is glad they left Sears in 1993 when Sears was still in good shape.
Also, the end with Judge Wapner reminds me of how old I always thought he was when I saw him on TV in the 80s and 90s. I was shocked when he just passed away four years ago at 99.
No kidding. I bet Sears wishes they left Sears around 1993, considering how abysmal the company performed after the KMart merger. And same about Wapner. I always think of Rain Man when I see him, and he did seem really really old even in the 80s.
Bruins great Bobby Orr speaking for BayBanks.
Knight Rider-"Snakes,KITT..why'd it have to be snakes???"
Misfits Of Science-R.I.P Dean P. Martin & Kevin Peter Hall
Harry's Game-she shouldve tried to dodge the bullet rather than just scream
Family Ties credits-TV Land Awards should name one after Ubu
Eyewitness News-the name "Schwoegler" sounds like a mouthful
Jagged Edge-announcer shouldve added"..and DON'T fall off!!!"
Hunter-@13:56 mustve been another unscripted moment
Facts Of Life-for a second i thought Blair was going to say"ME!!!"
Kellogg's Just Right-nowadays Tori wouldve done a sad song about this cereal being discontinued
In the grand scheme of things it may not matter but the mystery diaper is in fact Pampers here is the grand reveal in the following ad - ua-cam.com/video/H56g-Mc3HKI/v-deo.html
I'm wondering how that frozen popcorn worked out too!
I loved seeing the end credits of all these sitcoms here. Starry Night Productions used to be scary! Huh huh ha ha ha ha ha!
Thank you bc I sure was gonna google it😆😆
The woman I'll be marrying next week was 5 months old when this aired so she may have even been in a blue waist shield Pampers diaper that very day. I was almost 9 years old at the time. Just a random thought, carry on
