⚡THE LED OUT⚡
Cool, I’m 58 and they sound as fresh and new as when I first found them 45 years ago.
Good girl keep listening Led Zeppelin time to rock and roll even in the old days you can use the rock you still do
64 next month. Zeppelin is my favorite!🥰
"Being 20 in the Seventies was a lot more fun than being 70 in the Twenties." Rock on!
Regrettably in large part to the actions and influences of the "20 in the 70s" crew. But need to find the way forward...imo Z/A has got it figured out
😢
Very funny
Tell the TRUTH,the whole TRUTH, & nothing but the TRUTH....never has such a TRUER post been so TRUTHFUL ?
THAT is a great line. Unfortunate, but true, and you're still around to post it!
I'm 72 and still can't get enough of the greatest band ever ..magic..
Oh my heaven.....this WAS the ALBUM which ....and you may laugh....took Zep to being my #1 favorite band from the Beatles (it was Easter of 1980 or 81...I forget). The Beatles are now #2...and Zep is #1. This album is beyond incredible and probably my MOST favorite Zep album..This is an "island" album for me (i.e. trapped on an island...and you're only allowed 10 albums). Zep has SO many INCREDIBLE albums...but THIS one is still my absolute favorite. I"m 59....by the way....with the INTENT upon retiring at 62.....
NOT MAGIC,...BUT WITCHCRAFT FOR SURE.
72? Then I have some serious hope that there is life after retirement :)
Bless you.
This album is magic
I remember the little sign in the record store announcing the release date for Physical Graffiti. I went straight there after work and the first shipment was long gone. Luckily one of my friends had bought a copy on his lunch break. We listened to it until the wee hours of the morning. Got my copy the next week. No Internet, Bluetooth, Serius, etc. The anticipation waiting for an album is something this generation will never know. This one certainly exceeded expectations and the expectations were substantial!
Albums still can have a fixed release date
They will never experience owning their first home debt free.

know that for a fact.Did pretty much the same, waiting for Cream's "Wheels of Fire" to drop summer 68
I'm 77 & listen to Physical Graffitti every day. You're never too old for rock & roll.
I don't want no Tutti -Fruity no lollipop... come on baby just ' Rock, Rock, Rock!!!!!😀😀😀
My earliest Rock influences in Elementary School were The Beatles, Rolling Stones and yes, Herman's Hermits (First British Invasion), all early on doing both originals and covers of American Rock and Roll. My Third Grade Teacher spun 'Meet The Beatles' on one of those old mono school record players during morning break. Other kids brought more LP's. My classmates and I were lucky to have Mrs. Underwood in our lives. By 1968, I was into the Heavier stuff, like Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, and of course, Led Zeppelin. I am not alone in saying these three groups (all part of the Second British Invasion) were the Grand Dads of Heavy Metal!
Still hitting the weed hey?
Just rock and no matter what
That's awesome!! Keeps you young!!
There's no better music than 60's 70's and a little 80's after that music started sucking. I quit listening to top 40 about 15 years ago because it sucked.
I was homeless at one point. Living a parking lot in a broken-down car, which fortunately had a working battery. Heard this song one night. Inspired me. I climbed out of that situation to become, eventually, a nationally recognized and awarded expert in my field, where I survive today, with my wife fighting cancer. Thank you, Led Zeppelin.
Which song?

I sawZeppelin twice, NO ONE EVEN GOT CLOSE TO ZEPPELIN....and I saw almost everyone......I did not see Hendrix or the Doors or The WHO w/Moon but I saw everyone else....and Zeppelin CRUSHED them all.

Vividly remember buying Physical Graffiti when it came out in 1975. I was 15 then, 63 now and it still sends shivers down my spine. The greatest album by the greatest band ever. Got tickets to see Robert Plant at the Sage (Gateshead) in November. Can't wait!
I was on a shop off the coast of veitnam and played ocean and off the House's of the Holy album and half of Pysical Graffiti during day off at sea. Got together with other musicians on the ship and put on a hell of a show for not practicing with each other at all.
Hey Dude me too Bro!!! WTH!! Me and my Bud road to Bham to get it! Both of us were 15 yr and no damn license!! Wow! Smoked some Red Bud before we got there and came out and forgot where we parked Man! LoL ♥️🎸💥😎🇺🇲
Me too! I was 15, bought it the day it was released, took the bus to Quincy Square, went to Jason's music store with my friend Rolf. Got home, smoked some blonde Lebanese under glass, and let it play. I'm 63 now, and this still rocks!

Saw Robert Plant last summer at the Tent in South Boston. He was amazing! He is still one of the premier vocalists of the rock genre.
Only 64, but still listening! Saw them live 1977. OG’s!

In my time of dying just EXPLODES halfway through. Genius. They don't make songs like these anymore.

Im 56 and Led Zeppelin is timeless. Timeless....
I love this album because it has all the different moods of Zeppelin, the blues, blazing rock, country folk, the spacey "In the light" and even some funk of "Trampled under foot" This album has it all.
It sure is a great mix of flavors.
I hear what ya sayin ✌🏻
You know why it has all? Because it is an eclectic collection of old numbers, some dated way back to Zep III, maybe even before that.. there is not much fresh material from the timeframe it was actually recorded. Great album anyway.. after ditching the fillers it would make their greatest album, just maybe.. and would easily fit SINGLE album format.
Right on !
You framed it perfect, David. For that reason, I personally don't think it is as consistently good as Led Zep IV, which is timeless and very consistent. III and V also have some real gems on them, and I still have them!
Always feel old in my generation, just turned 27 but have been listening to Zep, Beatles, Dylan, Hendrix and other 50s 60s and 70s legends for years now 😅
My elder cousin had the original vinyl of this album and I guess he bought it at the time it was released (he also had The Song Remains the Same and LZ 3-4). I picked up on Deep Purple very early, and of course on the Beatles (they were already history by then), but not really on Zep or Hendrix until after I had turned twenty-five....
Go on young man. You're on the right track. I wish i was smarter when i was your age. Don't try heroin, never for ever. This music is killing me, in a good way
Rock on young man and don’t look back ✌🏻🎸😊

Led Zeppelin is hands down one of the most talented groups to ever record a song! They were so far ahead of their time and their incredible music will be listened to for generations to come!!! It was absolutely tragic when John Bonham died so young because he was without a doubt one of the best to ever sit behind a drum kit!!! I'm 59 and have been listening to rock / classic rock for as long as I can remember. Their immense talent and versatility is what put them head and shoulders above the rest!!!
Меня зовут Костя род. В ленинграде 1963 г. Эта музыка дала мне увидеть новый мир.

We Had Tickets 79 Chicago, had to ride a train down town , buy a newspaper, clip the coupon, mail in an envelope w/$200, and . . .wait . . and while waiting unfortunately for the world John died. Fortunately his son , still plays almost the same heavy handed drums ? I'm so greatful - - -> ua-cam.com/video/uP-ZjbrNLWU/v-deo.html Kick Ass!!!!
It is not that they were #1. It is that they were so much better than whoever was #2. John Bonham was a wonderful drummer. Almost as good as Karen Carpenter!
Yeah but how many songs they had were actually originals?
Its their best album. I wonder if LZ knew what they were onto when they recorded this masterpiece. There's not one filler on the album. The album cover, the name of the album, the song writing, the solos, the musicianship, the quality of the recording, all perfect. Its an amazing piece of work. Any band putting out just one record like this would be a life time accomplishment.
Lei que la mayoría eran descartes de otros lp s. House of the holy una de ellas
I'm 61 and this is what I grew up with. Cassettes and 8 track tape.. some kind of off the wall speakers, stuffed in a Ford 150, single cab. Loud music at its best.
God! I thought I was the only one that remembered 8 tracks!
Devils music
I saw LZ in 1975. They were brilliant. A 4 hour show. No back up band. I was 20 rows back on the floor. Was blown away. Seen hundreds of shows except Hendrix and the Beatles. I remember the critics at the time hated this album. They were so wrong! One of there best.
I f****** hate critics
What do the critics know the same people went gaga over disco. They were so exceptional..
Critics hated most of their albums. Tone deaf.

Although, college had some prime times too, but those HS days can never be matched.
Amazing, same for me. I was 16 in '75 when I saw them at Philly Spectrum and they were on their Physical Grafitti tour. I tell people exactly the same thing as you. Young, free and rocking to the best band of all time and my favorite album, Physical Grafitti. Best music ever was from 1968 until about 1982 (just throw out disco). That's about the years of Zeppelin, no surprise there, huh. And the "wheelhouse years" of music was about '74 until '78. My kids tell me I am stuck in the 70s music wise. And as they get older they now fully understand why and agree with me. My oldest daughter's favorite song is now Ramble On. My other daughter after she turned 30 told me she now thanks me for introducing her to classic rock growing up and she absolutely loves Zeppelin IV. But the greatest thrill was my son when we got his Mustang 6 years ago. I said okay Mikey, which song do you want to hear first on your new car's killer stereo, he said Magic Carpet Ride Steppenwolf. Great classic rock choice for a kid born in 1995...old school late 60's rocker!
This album is timeless - it never gets old!

Yeah my birthday is today December 30th 2 3 I'm 59 and this was my first Zeppelin album and I still enjoy it today
Greatest album ever! Start to finish, all of it.
As they say "a day without Zepplin is a day not worth living".
I love all albums by Led. Zeppelin!!! All unique!!!!💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My favorite Led Zeppelin Album 😻✌✌✌
64years young, have and still do jam out with Zeppelin ❤. They rock out.
It’s an amazing album. Ten Years Gone is the masterpiece here. Timeless, mysterious, tight but loose, ethereal, possibly Page’s most melodic solo. The production is genius.
I'd have given that to The Rover, but each to their own.
sick again (for me)@@nickmcp7191
Carl, I agree totally & tell people all the time that is my fav. JP work. Jimmy's done some more flashy & challenging solos, but Ten Years Gone is IMO his best ever, as it really says something, is melodic, haunting, and no blazing fireworks (unusual for him). It makes this a masterpiece of a song. His rhythm parts are perfect too... sublime & fluid.
Don't forget "In The Light"
Sitting on the beach chilling out and listened to this masterpiece in its entirety Truly a classic !!
Down by the Seaside?
Honolulu starbrite, listening to this in the middle of the Pacific Ocean! Aloha from Hawaii...... zofo!
Just turned 64, still jamming to the good times of Zeppelin!❤🎉😂🎉❤
72nd year here and Led Zepplin still caresses these ears.
Lepi časi, bili smo lepi in mladi.Ko poslušam te stare komade me udari neko domotožje po tistih časih.Lepe spomine ste nam ustvarili, hvala za vse.
Led Zeppelin simply the greatest love story between musicians fans and friends in recorded music history ❤
Rush had a pretty good following.
Rush? ❤ I tell people that rush is like my religion and spirituality 41:04
Masterpiece of an album.
I borrowed this not long after it was released, from a friend who played drums and was a big Bonzo fan.
Of all their studio albums, i find this the most accessible and enjoyable to listen to from beginning to end.
❤❤❤❤
Thanks for the acknowledgement I pretty much listen to a Zeppelin song everyday nothing more fun than starting the day with a song that gets your 😊 head right and hopping around getting the blood flowing letting yourself know your alive
Ya got that right
The title "Physical Graffiti" was coined by Page to illustrate the whole physical and written energy that had gone into producing the set.
Some memorable moments.
Boogie with Stu, in the light, Kashmir, in my time of dying. I'm 70 and I still get it.🇬🇧🎸👍
Led Zeppelin is the best rock band in the world 🌎 ♥ and will be the number one rock band in the USA 🇺🇸 👌. I love this band because it was and still is the band that I grew up listening to. I'm 68 years old and I'm listening to the music of Led Zeppelin right now the whole album "Physical Graffiti".
Same im only 66 though
I now am 60yo and do hope I'll take the same pleasure than you enjoying, listening, feeding my body with their both sophisticated and hammering grooves.... when I'm 68, Ronnie!!!
Thanks for clearing things, Ron..... keep on grooving!!
By the way, I was blessed and lucky enough to see them at Knebworth 79!!
It never left me since.....
