Im 17 and I listen to Led Zeppelin every day
I'm 60 ..gotta get some Zep every day!
oh... nice
Keep up the good work.
✌️😁
excellent ! you found the best stuff
I'm 43 nephew, I did too! Led Zeppelin was here even before I was, my parents also took their Led with green and gold before I came through the portal. What a boring world we would have if nobody got the Led out.
At 72yrs.old it’s still Led all the way. 😊
That's what keeps you young!
The metallic age: Gold in your teeth, silver in your hair, Led in your pants.
Are you married??lol
@@Stupidityindex That, sir, was epic. I salute you.

1975 I graduated from High School. Stairway to heaven was our class song. wore out 2 albums listening to this over and over.....still do at 65 yrs old
Yes brother,me too listening to it til today at the age of 60.Love from Malaysia.Rock til your last breath.

Let me ask you guys since you lived the time, Zep's 1st 2 albums mustve hit like the atom bomb, but what about 3? Sure, 3 rocks to true Zep fans, *but what I'm trying to know is how did the typical masses accept it, especially following the albums 1 and 2?*
“How many more time” & “Since I have….” What to say more…
I know what you mean, 1970 for me.
I'm pretty sure both my kids were conceived listening to this album, 40+ years ago. It never gets old. Seriously, we were blessed to have grown up listen the best music! Led Zep, Beatles, Black Sabbath, come on, maybe that was heaven and we didn't even realize it😂
Yes? 😅
Your story is so relevant now as it will always be!! I am 66 years old now!!! Growing up in south east Alabama during the Vietnam war right there beside Fort Rucker, Alabama, the largest helicopter training center in the world !! It was a love-hate experience, growing up !! What I loved most was meeting guys and gals who were trying to grow up in a very strange period of time just like me !! The music helped keep us sain. ! ! Greetings from south east Alabama! Hope all is with your family and friends ❤️☮️
Can we meet up
Oh to be sixteen years old in 1970 again! II
So Mike Damone WAS right?
There is no Led Zeppelin song that doesn't bring back a good memory. I was 13yrs old when John Bonham died so I was never graced with the presence of seeing them live but that doesn't take away from the powerful energy that they bring into a room no matter where you're at. I grew up in the 70s as a kid listening to 50s and 60s music and of course country and Mom loved the blues. I first heard Led Zeppelin at the age of 11 and the song was Trampled under Foot and I was hooked for life. Rock music had taken over my life and instead of going to the Department store's toy section as a kid, I went to the music section instead. This band has carried me from grade school and throughout all of my adult life. I'm 57, I still enjoy this band today as I did the first day I heard them. It's timeless music, it never gets old and always puts me in a good mood. When Robert Plant went on a solo career, I followed and was able to see him in concert at that level. I saw him 3 times during that period and he'd always throw a few Zeppelin songs in the mix and the place would go crazy. I'll always be a Led Zeppelin fan
lo magsimo en musica inglesa pra todo el mundo 😅😅😅😅😅
I was five. The first time I remember hearing them, I was seven. It was love at first hearing, imo. Loved them ever since, bout to turn 49
OLD AGE DOES HAVE SOME BENEFITS. I GOT TO SEE THEM IN 1977 AND I WAS 19 AT THE TIME
I am the same age as you(born last day Summer of Love). Was 13 on school bus when DJ said John Bonham died. I cried😢, and I'm not a crier!! Keith Moon had just died too. I wasn't crying just for their death, but for the death of an era. An era of the best music.
P.s. we did get to see Paige and Plant in 1995. My girlfriend says that was the "most magical night of her life ". ✌️😁
I saw them live in Montreal 1975.
The power coming from that stage...
This album is one of the greatest albums ever, in my opinion!
In my opinion too ...and Physical Graffiti
I love it. Came out during my senior year in high school. If I was forced to pick, however, I'd still go with their first, a blues rock master class.

You are absolutely correct. I'm a drummer and I learned from Bonzo and Keith Moon-neither of which ever took a drum lesson 😂 new did I and I played professionally for ten years- some of us have a natural ability and natural rhythm 😮 yeah that's me!! That was Bonzo and Keith Moon🎉💥🔥😎
Yeah, taking the blues and calling it theirs. Real ahead of their own time. Lawsuits prove this Fact.

There are a lot of great rock LP's from back in the 70's.
There are very few perfect ones. This is a perfect musical statement by the band IMHO.

Statement and last great LP they did.
THE number one album in all rock history.
The Battle of Evermore. A fantastic duo with the great, late Sandy Denny. The only Led Zeppelin collaboration with another singer. I love this song.

It really was a great collaboration of two highly talented singers. If you don't like "The Battle of Evermore" then you cannot truly appreciate Led Zeppelin for all they bring to the table.
The Battle Of Evermore, Вечный Бой - плохо повлиял на Сэнди Денни, она погибла в 1978 году от депрессии и алкоголизма. Сэнди был всего 31 год. В этом году отмечали 75 лет с её дня рождения...

This brings me back to my high school days when I played it on my stereo. Mother shouted up the stairs, "Turn down that NOISE!" (Now to think that it is grandma's music.)
One of the best albums ever. Let's face it, you could say that about ALL of the Zeppelin albums though.
I keep going back to Physical Graffiti or Houses Of The Holy but IV is awesome. I like Zeppelin III a lot too. Presence is a great record. You're right they're all really good but I think In Through The Out Door is their weakest.
" Presence"???
have been listening to metal over 30 years, from death, black, folk, trash metal but i've never really bothered to pick up led zeppelin. This is truly great.
Good to hear👍. The song remains the same. Give it a listen a roller coaster of guitar work. Excellent song.
and yet I don't know that I would refer to them as "metal", or even a sub-genre necessarily...
I would guess that many of the musicians in the metal bands you listen to were inspired by Zeppelin. Pretty iconic shit.
Я тебе завидую! У тебя опять все впереди!!!😂✊🔥
I will be 70 in a few weeks, and I still jam it like I always have. Getting the Led Out.

Amen brother.
Every single song is magical.
Imo this is the best album ever recorded. A total masterpiece bar none. Amazing production.
I was 12 in 1972 and their music was so raw, powerful rock. The concert at MSG NY in 1973, they were at their peak, Roberts voice never sounded better, back then they were huge here in America but in their home country of England they weren't. Kinda funny.
Listent to all kinds of music, especially rock. There have been and are loads of brillant groups undeniably, but whenever I listen to Led Zep my immediate sense is one of ’aaah I’m home!' This IS the pinnacle of rock, untouchable, unbeatable. PERFECTION.
Amazing music from exceptionally talented musicians! THIS IS MUSIC! I was so blessed to have grown up hearing Led Zepplin falling asleep every night and waking up every morning to this band thanks to my oldest sister who loves this band and so do I still!
Ditto
When rock and roll had a name, and its own song to sing. Yes, it's been a long time......
If you can forget how much this was overplayed and listen with fresh ears , you will see what an achievement this is. It’s still an anthem for my youth.
Houses of the holy is better though
I agree. It IS an awesome album but I heard it so many times when I was young played over and over while my friends and I "socialized" I almost never listen to it now on my own. Too bad, since some of the less-played songs are great. I am now listening to it now skipping songs like Black Dog, Rock and Roll, and Stairway to Heaven. I hear them often enough on classic rock radio stations, who ignore most of this great band's "filler" songs.
@@juddstjohn1487 a radio station near me plays the other zeppelin 4 songs
That's the thing, classic rock has been way overplayed for me. I still have my albums and a lot on CD but the last couple of years I've been looking at bands from the 70's that I overlooked at the time. If I listen to rock. Zeppelin was at the top for me in the 70's. As was Bowie, Rundgren, and The Who.
in 400 hundred years from now, there will still be led zeppellin, right of passage growing up
I listened to this continuously, but I'm really listening to this really now for the first real time.
Not a new thought but Zep's version of "When the Levee Breaks" is one of the all time Gold Standard recordings of the 20th Century.

I listen to Led Zep and it is like they show me a quick glimpse (though many times, in many ways) of a different kind of world - what is probably, but not necessarily, a better kind of world. As a boy I was allowed these glimpses and I really needed them, but it was never, and could not be, an idyllic, romantic or simplistic way out. Musically it was (and every time is) so familiar and yet unrecognisable. I have never been able to put my finger on what it is about Led Zep that has this unique character and the concomitant effect upon me: taking me to 'places' I never knew existed, or rather can never be certain that they ever did, do or will exist, yet inviting me to accept that these possible 'places' can be glimpsed by any of us, at any time, but can never be taken for granted, fully understood - or commercialised.
I agree with you. I think all truly great art lifts us mere mortals up out of the muck of everyday existence. Led Zep were angels and true artists.
Oh that place. Lol
100 years from now (if this earth is still turning) our descendants will listen to this album and wonder where these musical gods came from. They will try (but fail) to duplicate this amazing sound.
I like led Zeppelin a lot. I'm 63 years old now and I still like them. I used to party so hard when I was eighteen and listening to led Zeppelin.
