@@rheaferrante7645 Yeah, there are a few bands/artists I regret not seeing either due to timing or budget. The one that really springs to mind is Prince in the 90s. Tickets were A$200 and I swore I'd never pay that much to see anyone. Not long after I paid $350 to see The Stones for the fourth (and last) time. I saw the Half A Who, as I called Roger and Peter, when they payed at the Australian F1 Grand Prix in Melbourne where I live in the mid-noughties and they were really great. Zack Starkey played drums from memory :)
I saw Led Zeppelin in 1977 at Chicago Stadium; had good seats too. I can still close my eyes and see Page jamming using a bow across the strings, and Bonham bangin away on Moby Dick, and the light show using lasers. Just amazing!
@@marccotter2726 You know I don't think they sold any merchandise in Melbourne, otherwise I would have bought t-shirts etc. I do have a Led Zeppelin III album cover short though :)
Awesome Steve and I also saw Led Zeppelin in 1972 in Sydney, Australia. Hard to believe this now but myself and a few mates could not get tickets so we climbed over the wall into Sydney Showground and ran across the grass to the front of the stage. We then saw the greatest band of all time for free!!!! Sitting here now listening on my Sonus system cranked to the max and get this kids Iam 65 and you won’t be listening to rap at that age😃
This is some of the best rock music in existence. Led Zeppelin will be the Mozart of the 2400s. Every aspiring rock star should start and end with Led Zeppelin.
I always say the same thing, Led Zepplin will go down in history big time.. hundreds and hundreds of years no doubt. What I appreciate about being alive these days with video cameras etc, truly at the start of recorded history in my opinion... people will be able to listen to this in 10,000 years! 100K years! 1m years! as it was meant to be heard from the men themselves
Led Zeppelin 2- My first album. Led Zeppelin 1- My second album. Led Zeppelin at the Baltimore Civic center, 1970- My first major concert. Yep! A significant influence in my 70 years.
I've heard Led Zeppelin hundreds of times and the joy of listening to them is endless. Led Zeppelin is an inherent part of Rock of all time. Their footprint is deep. Thank you. Greetings from Peru

JPJ is a freakin monster. You hear one song and think "well, that was one hell of a bass line", then the next song comes and the bass is even better. What a legend!
Totaly agree with your comment JPJ was a musical genius he drove Zeps songs along but such a nice and humble guy. (He is my Rock God)⭐ Mind you the other 3 are pretty good as well !!!!!!!! ha ha ha😀
Loud but clear, is the only way... I have an old system that will shake my neighborhood, if I want! But people today don't want to hear anything but 'rap.' I tell them, the only good thing about rap, is that you can't spell 'crap,' without it! Music today is just white noise... Dead sound, proffered by the industry for profit, nothing else. How much of the music of the past 10 years is still being listened to? A lot of people are listening to the 60s and 70s, back when music was alive, real and connected to more, than the basser elements of human nature.
70+years old and this is the first led zep iv"e down loaded. I guess there is still hope for me. my new favorite is Kashmir. I can't stop playing it.Thanks for this download.
It's hard to not like Led Zeppelin everything about them says rock and roll, timeless songs and perhaps the most talented member by member, their legacy will last forever.

We had the BEST music in the sixties and seventies. I was also 14 when I would play this album over and over. We were lucky to have had this experience.

@@seeekerman1342my favorites are probably the rehashed lead belly joints, but that Tolkien shit goes HAAAAAAAAARD as balls. Also, It has to be listened to in HiFi stereo for full effect. Anything short just is a waste.
Led Zeppelin is by far one of the most creative and best of bands of all time. A very timeless band that people will enjoy for another 100 years or more.
Since I been loving these guys, I been thru good times bad times, and was dazed and confused and trampled underfoot but in the evening I put on these songs, that remain the same and I feel a whole lot of love. Jeez, I am just rambling on!
Been listening to Led Zeppelin since 1968 at max volume. By far, it is the best rock band, ever. My favs are Good Times, Bad Times, Black Dog, Misty Mountain Hop, Immigrant Song, and Kashmir. If you close your eyes while listening to Kashmir, you will be in a desert with a hot sun beating down on you. Once while drunk with my friends this song was playing every time I woke up which was several times. I didn't hear any other song but this one. It is one of the most memorable nights of my life and nothing happened, just Zeppelin.
Kashmir - fantastic music, great lyrics. Which is why one must forgive the obvious misfact that Kashmir is no desert area, it's mountain area with lots of lakes and greenery. Plant had never been to Kashmir, but his composition was inspired by the experience he had in the Moroccan parts of the Saharan desert.
My First Concert ever 1973 Dallas convention center My Mom paid $7.75 For My 13 Birthday was a balcony seat, I dropped myself hanging from the a bar down to the lower level sprained my ankle, Rushed to the front of the stage to hear the encore They did 4 one great memory
In college,1975, for 10 Sundays in a row, the same five, Bartee, Richard, Dan, my girlfriend Donna, and I rode around in 1967 Mustang & listened to Led Zeppelin all day. Still listen almost everyday. Never gets old!!
I listened to Led Zep when I was a child. My elder brother had their records. Loved them back then and forgot about them as I grew older and listened to other music. Now, in my 50's I'm listening to Led Zep again and it's even better than ever. The chemistry and genius of every band member is unsurpassed! Such great musicians! So many great songs! The best rock band ever! Nothing else compares.
Really nothing compares. I love other music too, but in a different way. I'm religious and I shouldn't like them as much as I do. Lol. God created them so it's fine I guess. Someone's gotta be the best. Human wise anyway. Thank God for led zeppelin.
Oh WOW, a blast from my past. Saw Led Zeppelin in 1974 at the Sydney Showgrounds in Australia. I was so dazed and not confused. I was sitting on the railing surrounding the inner part of the greyhound dog track when the roadies started coming out and sitting on the grass in front of the stage, that was the cue to jump the fence and be right in front of the stage. Awesome to say the least. My ears were ringing for days.
My guitar teacher taught me to play guitar on stairway to heaven and babe I'm gonna leave u..after 20 years I've seem to appreciate more and more Led Zeppelin's rock anthems! (eg rain song, dazed and confused) They're timeless!
Jimmy Page was immediately mesmerized by the guitar upon hearing it and the rest we shall say, was intense focus, self discipline and, oh, I don’t know, kissed by the Gods
i am sure that everyone here loves every song ever written by them and found that 1 song that reaches your heart and touches your soul . rest in peace john .
Almost 50 yrs old & this is my 1st immersion into Led Zeppelin! My GAWD!! I didn't know they had these types of hits! This is spiritual listening to these songs❤❤❤❤
A friend and I, while we were high school freshman in ‘80 or so, listened to Physical Graffiti straight for 28 hours. We maybe slept for 2 hours after having a party and unwilling to let the party end or the music die. I was just getting old enough to like their music and we were obsessed with that double album back then. Like many of you, Zeppelin has been such a big part of me that I can mark key moments and experiences in my life with one of their albums at my side. I still listen to their whole catalog praying for a day when Robert Plant will finally relent and agree to a tour. If that happens, I don’t even want to speak about what I’d do to score a ticket. My business, my investments, and some of my family would all be in jeopardy.
Good Times Bad Times What a way to launch a music career - Led Zep's first song! Bonham's drumming, Page's riffs, Jones' bass line, Plant's vocals - they all hit you like an alien mothership just landed from a world you never knew existed!
I was 16 when I first saw Led Zeppelin in concert, in Perth W.A. The night Kerry and I would finally see our favourite Idol's. We had been anxious, whilst So looking forward to this Magnificent Spectacular Historical event. Now 65 years old, I appreciate their music, when I am down , cheerful or otherwise. I loved them in 1973 and my appreciation and respect for Led Zeppelin has led me to introduce their music to my son , friends, and grandchildren. For me its important my grandchildren may grow to like them and hopefully they in turn pass on their music to others. Their music still lives on today. We need them in our lives fore ever more. today Zeppelin in our lives forever more .
The most powerful, the most innovative, the most influential band of all time. There was never and will never be another band like Led Zeppelin Jimmy 🎶🎸JPJ 🎹 Bonham 🥁 Plant 🎤 🎼 ❤️❤️❤️
@@rickilynnwolfe8357 Absolutely, each of these guys were incredible musicians in their own right. Even JPJ, who did not get the attention of the other three, was an accomplished session musician and classically trained- all before he joined Zep (and without him, there's no Black Dog). The band knew all this, which is why when Bonzo died, they knew the band was done. It could have been any of them, and the decision would have been the same.
@@markb20 your so right no band will or has ever reached the heights of Led Zepplin there music of masters made a sound that no band can copy no matter how hard they try. They were truly different from any band thro the century's. Jimmy Page plays like he's from another world , not human like where does his talent come from seriously hes my favorite lol . Robert Plants voice is so unique and versatile thro the years and when he joined Led Zepplin it couldn't get any better he was the cherry on top . He has a very unique voice that just fits with the instrument's of the band .JPJ is the master at any instrument he plays and he knows where to put the notes in songs. When JPJ plays the song ( all of my love) it makes you want to stand up look towards the heavens and salute ! Last but not least the Great Bonzo that a man he could bang on anything and make it sound like music ! He hit so hard that the DRUMS actually sounds better then any other drummer player out there he had the mussels to do it to . With all four of these master musicians together they Rocked like no one can .That was there gift to the world that will never fade👍
Led Zeppelin. The Greatest Rock and roll Band in the World.. Their legacy will carry on into ages never again will a band even come close to Zeppelin, No doubt about that.. Zep Definitely hits the spot! Makes me Ready to party! Right on! And dont forget to fire one up. Right? Hell ya! Enjoy....
The greatest band to every rock and roll. I'm 60 years old and listen everyday at work when I weld. The next thing I know it's time to go home. If there was only one band to listen to they would be it hands down. I sometimes wonder where they would be if bonzo was still alive. It would be magical the music they would be doing. Forever led zeppelin.
Led Zeppelin - the best thing in musical history, of all time and any genre. I saw them in 1979, at Knebworth, and it was, without doubt, one of the best days of my life.
@@gahansambhar4337 Rap isn't horrible, I'll admit. But nowadays, it's all r@pe murder and drugs. There are diamonds in the rough though. But Led-Zeppelin is better than all rap.

Listen up kids, these are timeless classic rock songs. Yes one of the best songs ever ! There's a fine line between genius and insanity. No great mind has ever existed without a touch of madness.
I'm 24 and Zeppelin is my favorite band of all time! I read somewhere that Jimmy Page's ultimate goal with Zeppelin was to create albums that stood the test of time, and I would have to say he definitely achieved that goal! 4M+ views 40+ years after they broke up! There will never be another band quite like them. Where else do you have a band where each individual member is consistently regarded as the best of all time? Page: voted 3rd in rolling stones best guitarists of all time. Plant: voted 13th in rolling stone best vocalist of all time, and 1st by fans. Bonham: 1st best drummer of all time rolling stones. Jones: 14th best bassists of all time, 4 on another list I found, as well. Listening to their music just brings me such an overwhelming sense of joy! I love Led Zeppelin!!!
Started listening to rock and metal since the 80s and through to today. Embarrassingly, I've just discovered how good Led Zepp really is! In my misguided youth, I always thought they weren't heavy or brutal enough. Wisdom really does come with age... Now I realise that they were there at the beginning, and will be there at the end. They are the Alpha and the Omega. Forever and Ever Amen... 🙏🏼
Led Zeppelin is my favorite band always and forever. I'm a writer and adore their brilliant lyrics. I relate and the storytelling makes me feel like I know them...
I like the notes. Don't get me wrong. I like the lyrics too, but it wouldn't really matter if plant just sung gibberish with the same notes. To me anyway.
@@mikegacek9182 You're not alone. And I get it. Plant is a technical singer. He'll sing you the manual for your Roomba the same way he'll sing All Of My Love. His vocals are less an expression of an original thought than they are an instrument contributing to the sound of the band. I'm fine with that.
@@andrewsmith2326 Nice Andrew - vocals are surprisingly close to Robert Plant. It's pretty hard to duplicate Jimmy Page on lead guitar - he's just exceptional. Train does a fine job though.

And by the way, I still have the T-shirt!
Every aspiring
rock star should start and end with Led Zeppelin.

How much of the music of the past 10 years is still being listened to?
A lot of people are listening to the 60s and 70s, back when music was alive, real and connected to more, than the basser elements of human nature.

How’s your hearing? I mean, 55 years at max volume…😊

Good Times Bad Times

Very beautiful comment Marcia because you're absolutely correct in bands nowadays wouldn't have a Clue on how to either create let alone perform !!!
This is what you get when 4 master musicians come together you'll never in history see this again .No bands will ever compare 👍
