    I'm really impressed with the organization and quality of gear. I typically don't expect that level of professionalism from a "solo" artist.

      Thanks! We put a lot of effort into our gear! We were hired by this artist to provide equipment for the event. Thanks for watching!

    Were the power boxes home made or bought? If they were home made would love to see a video of you made them.

      I wish i felt comfortable enough to make these boxes myself! But, I bought them from a company called OA Windsor. They do good work, and if you want, you can source all the parts from them and DIY. Thanks for watching!

    What mic stands and speaker poles are you using?

    • @SilverCreekAudio
      @SilverCreekAudio  5 місяців тому +1

      The mic stands are K&M 210/9s and the speaker stands are Ultimate Support TS-110Bs.

    Wait you have a power to XLR adapter ??

    • @SilverCreekAudio
      @SilverCreekAudio  4 місяці тому

      Thanks for watching! I think you might be referring to the power drops? If so, its they have a powercon connection in and out. I got them from OA Windsor.

      @@SilverCreekAudio I'm referring to timestamp 10:53 approx. You're pluggin in an 115V AC-connector and the other end of the cable seems to be a female XLR adapter which is flying into the picture. BTW: how happry are you with the EV subs? I read a lot of times they're pretty weak subwoofers with small voice-coil / magnet?

    • @SilverCreekAudio
      @SilverCreekAudio  4 місяці тому

      Those are Pro Co Twin Cables. They are XLR and IEC power combined. As for the subwoofers, for the price I am happy with them. Could they be more powerful, for sure, but for the events we do, they get the job done just fine.

    I'm curious to know where you're getting your powercon to edison quad boxes from. All the ones I've been able to locate are insanely expensive.

      Unfortunately they are pricey.. BUT! I got mine built by OA Windsor and they were very communicative and accommodating to some requests I had. They make a very good product. Thanks for watching the video!

    Bruh! Why those speaker stands go so high up? Haha.

    • @SilverCreekAudio
      @SilverCreekAudio  4 місяці тому +6

      Trim height helps speakers throw further. Also, it takes advantage of the speakers vertical dispersion pattern which makes being up close more comfortable from an SPL standpoint. As a bonus, height can reduce the likelihood of feedback from the "stage".

      @@SilverCreekAudio All very good points. I’m just impressed they go up so high. I’d be scared the speaker might topple over. I guess that’s what sandbags are for.

    • @SilverCreekAudio
      @SilverCreekAudio  4 місяці тому

      Sandbags are a must. It's easy to put 50 - 75lbs on them.

      @@SilverCreekAudio Since you're going so high up, you do typically want to look into using front fills, or at least a vertical downtilt adapter on your speakers.
      You're totally right with what you're saying BUT by going so high up, you're losing a considerable amount of front row coverage. Something like a 15 degree downtilt would help drastically, or at least using a front fill box. We want low-variance in our sound systems!
