    This video is the perfect format! No timelapses or sped up footage with irrelevant music over top; just the sights & sounds of the setup with candid commentary. A few clips of the event (if appropriate and client would not mind, as you did in some later vids) and the load out would round this out amazingly. Keep this up. Would love to learn more about you two in a future episode too. 🤛

    What a privilege to see a true professional at his job even to the point of checking Mike distance and having all the right equipment to do the job properly.

    Watching from New Zealand. Where did you get the speaker cables that are power and audio in one?

    • @SilverCreekAudio
      @SilverCreekAudio  8 місяців тому +1

      They're called siamese twin cables made by Pro Co. I bought them from a large pro audio retailer in the U.S. called Sweetwater.

    Great stuff! Question: Is there a reason for the powercon + breakout box for the floor monitor and not just running a longer IEC from the ZLX into the outlet? A single 12-gauge IEC seems like it would be simpler and cleaner, unless there's an advantage I'm missing.

      Probably because he has to provide backline power for the keyboard anyway?

    I’m impress of the fact you normally use only two zlx 12” for FOH.

    I'm thinking of re-equipping after having not done any live work for a while! Which EV boxes do you generally use, and have you ever had any issues with the single point of failure of Active speakers?

    • @SilverCreekAudio
      @SilverCreekAudio  7 місяців тому

      Glad to hear that Nick! I use the EV ZLX 12p and haven't had any failures with so far. I've had them for about 4 years now. Had a client blow a pair, but other than that, no issues. Good luck and have fun!

    What is the brand of the power and xlr boxes you use, and the speaker stands you use? If you have Amazon links it’s appreciated.

      If you are talking about the road cases, they are from a local company called Kangaroo Cases based in Dallas, Texas. The stands are the Ultimate Support TS-110BL Extra-Tall. Thanks for watching!
