A band asking for "Alot of strobe" This must be a dream!
Yess, it was a first for me, that was the only instruction I've got, only to bad it wasn't later in the evening when it was dark 😊
Important unseen work. We owe much to your diligence. Keep being awesome :D
Thanks a lot man! 🙏🏻
This is... The @MattHornDrums of lighting, i love it.
Thanks man! More will follow, these days are a bit calm for me in my planning. the summer will be lit tho 😉!
Gewoon doen! Klein beginnen en je weg omhoog werken 😉👍
6:37 is Balthazar - Fever.
Amazing Indie Band, once saw them live on a similar size stage, smaller crowd though. One of the best concerts (specially sound was on point)
Correcting myself: smaller crowd area, not smaller crowd😂
🤣🤣🤣 yess its a great song to use to do a system check, apparently 😁 Thanks for watching
Thanks for sharing. Waiting for new content :)
More will follow soon! Thanks for watching!
Super leuk om te kijken!
Bedankt voor het kijken! 🙏
Subscribed i have, keep up the good work :)
(I also know the feel of rouge fixtures all to well 😂)
Thanks for watching and subscribing!! There is always at least one fixture that goes rouge 🤣
Thanks for watching, I gave them a plan and everything before. It was a great team tho! 👌
Damn i subbed as soon as i heard that age of love ahahahaha awesome vid man!!!
🤘🏻🤘🏻thanks man! 💪
Matt Horn in Lighting 👀
🤣🤣🤣 need to find a way to do the crewjam on lights 🤔🤔🤣🤣
The event organiser must have lost money on this gig. No crowd!
The costs are the same...
The risks of the Belgian weather 🤷🏻♂️
Hey I just saw your video and I got to say that a really great case for your MA-Wing! Where do you buy it, I am in need of one but for an Avolites T3 + wing.
Hi, thanks for watching! The case was custom build for me by a local flightcase builder here in Antwerp.
can you do a video on how you make you're show file? (btw love the vid)
Thanks for watching! 😁 Sure, I will do one in the near future 😉👍
00:00 Age of Love - Age of Love (one of the many many remixes)
Ho Equans to 15:53 ! I work for a subsidiary of equans france ! Great work to light show
Yeah, he works full time for equans but rent lights as a hobby 👌👌 thanks for watching!
Hoooo YEAH Charlotte de Witte - The Age Of Love. Hit the bull's-eye! haha 😂
It's a big enough stage as it is! At the 24h bike in Louvain-La-Neuve, on the main square, it's not such a big stage!
The weather in Waver at the beginning of July was just as rotten. The management tent was quite small and not closed. I ended up putting my jacket over my computer and console.
Even the electricity on stage ended up being switched off by the distribution block on the floor and sockets at the front of the stage (they hadn't forecast rain in the weather repport). 😅
Fortunately, like you, the show went ahead!
15:25 Great fly out! With the floor lyres it looks great!
I'm curious, have you taken any training courses or worked in a company that has trained you? Personally, I'm just an enthusiast who learns on his own, but I can see my limits in terms of rigging.
Yeah Belgian weather is very very very unpredictable 😅 I did study a light and sound course in school but that where just the basics, I learned most by just trying and experimenting, also UA-cam and reddit helped me a lot! With enough creativity the possibility's are endless! 💪
Oh, so we have schools for that in Belgium? I keep hearing about the stage management course at the EFP in Uccle. But well, I don't know if I'd like it. I'm interested in lights, screens, lasers and rigging, not really sound. At Uccle it's mainly sound I've seen.
Otherwise, yes, I get lost on YT too. Thanks for the tips! 🤗
Yes, the weather in Belgium is so unpredictable that I always have my jacket and even a pair of rain trousers in my rucksack.🤣
I'm uncertain what to say. Where I'm from, a "festival" that uses actual stage decking for loading and unloading also means needing at least a box truck to get to the height of the stage decks. At the same time, I'd be ecstatic to have the gear that would allow me to have this kind of gig, despite the weather.
This gig was a lot of fun despite the weather indeed 😅 Thanks for watching!
superr leuke video
Thanks! 🙏
Very nice! I see you're rocking the old Botex Artnet node. Just sold that exact model to be replaced by a slightly more updated model that also supports RDM. Also using the 7x40w bee-eye. Got 12 myself. I am amazed by what it can do for the price and size. Do you have the pixel mappable version as well (that's 56 ch version I believe)? I've been thinking about similar blog style vids myself. Good to see that there's a fairly local, fellow technician putting his content out there! Much love from one of your Dutch neighbours! Subbed!
Thank you very much for watching! The botex is a very good price/quality node! More video's will follow 😉👌
I just realized we both almost have the same license plate😂
🤣🤣🤣 nice! 👍
What a good video bro, I really would like to be what you are, by the way, did you study something to be a lighting technician or just on your own?
In highschool I did follow a light and sound course, but that's not at all necessary. You can learn a lot online these days. Get a lot of practice by doing a lot of small jobs, you will get a lot of networking from that. The bigger ones will follow 😉
Do you use the Akai pad as flash buttons with Bome midi translator?
as temp buttons straight in MA2, MA2 recognises the LPD8 as a midi input device ;)
Looks amazing. What fixtures were you using?
It's all in the description 😉 thanks for watching! 🙏🙏
Heyyy I'm from the Netherlands/Dutch. Where does this band come from? Because the number is Emergency. Sung in Dutch. On 15:15
Dit is een Belgische coverband ''xpd'' 😁!
00:00 Age of Love - Age of Love (one of the infinite amount of remixes)
This one was the Charlotte De Witte version 😉
„05u00“? Or apparently maybe „08:04“? 😜
Besides that: Great video, so I immediately subscribed to your channel and gave this video a like and a comment, cause good work should be appreciated 👍
All the best from Germany, Philipp 👋
Thanks Phillip! More video's will follow! 🙏🙏
10:30 words to live by when its this shit weather 😆
Exactly! 😂
Lekker man bro
Goude content
@@edo12310 🙏🙏🙏 er komt nog aan 👌
Hi, i wanted to ask what Touch screen you using for you GrandMA
It's a 24" ilyama touchscreen 😉
You should replace those cardboard boxes with some more cases 👀
They are on order 😉 thanks for watching! 🙏
Did that tiny sound desk cater the entire festival? No guest desks or anything?
On lights it was only my desk that was used, for sound the house console was a A&H SQ6, one guest desk had an X32. the headliner had a Midas of some sort with him.
Hoi trx-dmx, nice video weer!

Leuke video! Erg van genoten. Welke washes waren er?
Thanks! Leuk dat je gekeken hebt! De washes waren de B-EYEs van Shehds
@@TRXDMX Bedankt, ziet eruit als leuke lampen haha. Zou je ze aanraden?
@@jort8634 absoluut! Komt super veel licht uit!

What camera do you use to record ?
GoPro 10 black 😉👌 thanks for watching
