- My coworker mailed a PS4 Slim to me to repair that had been dropped by her son and completely smashed. Remarkably, the hard drive survived the fall. I was able to repair the console with only a few battle scars. I performed the best restoration I could.

You out to wonder what kind of family drama lead to the PS4 getting dropped like that. I thought this was a near impossible restoration but damn it was impressive to see you still fix it up, nice work. Favorite part was seeing you assemble back the case together
My cat knocked mine off my self. Fell 4 feet hiting hardwood floor. Wanted to whoop some ass but he’s a cat. I said to him “really asshole? I paid $320 for this thing” the shell is broke and need to clean and Replace it. I may do the white shell
Looks more like it was thrown to the ground instead of dropped. That was a lot of damage. Nice work on getting it back to somewhat new.

@@RestorationRelaxationdo you think the eject button is fixable? it's cracked a bit around the power button. it wont eject discs.
it's cracked like the one in the video at 0:37.
You could use the plastic welding to your advantage, by using ABS filament of a different or similar colour and melt it down into the cracks with a flat tip on the soldering iron. Turn it from a "scar" into a decorative element.

@@alripal9665 that’s very unusual. I haven’t heard of such a thing happening on *any* game console unless it’s been left out in the sun and the ABS plastic started to degrade
I literally heard them happening,they started off tiny but now they're getting bigger every day,the console works perfect,but i'm going to have to replace all the plastic eventually
