Are you using clutch only, no throttle?

A combination of throttle & clutch

Keeping the throttle steady, above idle, hearing a nice rev, but not red lining and keeping the clutch in the friction zone. It takes practice. This is a fine instruction.✌🏾

Don't you use indicators?

Hi Alice. No for a uturn there’s no requirement for indicators it could give false information to other road users (shouldn’t be any around but you may miss them) and they may thing you’re pulling away from the side of the road.
