Great video. I just picked up a 1 owner 2006 118,000 mi. I am thinking of Stage 1 KC. I just need DD and occasional tow/haul. I am shooting for 400-450 hp (RW).

Will the exhaust brake work just like the OEM? I have a 2019. Any tuning required or a direct bolt on an go?

Yes exhaust brakes work just like OEM brother. Tuning is recommended based on trucks

Got my one owner 6.uh oh for 20k with 58k miles. This will be my second build. First build I had the Kc stage 1 turbo paired with the stock injectors plus sct standard tunes (it literally had every single bulletproof diesel part That was available)and I loved that turbo. For this new build I’ll be pairing the stage 2 with 175/stock injectors. I live in CA so I don’t want any coal blowing out, unless someone can recommend a better injector size that will give me a weekend tower/daily reliable quick truck?

I live in CA and have a 2003 and have been running a KC stage 2 and 175/30 injectors with TSD tunes for about 4 years. It is a powerful combination but it will smoke. You will not pass a smog opacity test with this combination. In my opinion and I know nothing is you will be better off with the 175 stock configuration when you are running the factory tune as you will be dumping less fuel resulting in a cleaner burn. Take that with a grain of salt because again I know nothing. I am currently switching back to stock injectors and rebuilding my factory turbo with a new KC billet wheel. I tow an 8000lb boat and trailer that I have towed effortlessly with the stage 2. I can tow at the speed limit up any grade as long as I keep the RPMs above 2000. I imagine I will soon be towing a little slower lacking the HP and torque of the larger turbo and injectors

No problem. Just for more details on my truck the way I have it it has never, ever ran hot. In fact the temps are always in the low range. I have KDD heads, Adrenalin HPOP, BPD parts are the air to oil cooler, billet water pump, egr cooler and Amsoil 2µm bypass filter. Mishimoto radiator and Hayden fan clutch so running a non electric fan. My typical coolant temp is about 185° even though I am running a 195° thermostat. I also have a FASS Titanium 125 fuel pump with their large draw straw. Fuel pressure runs 65-70lbs.
Good luck with your build 🤙🏼 325,000 miles and running strong 💪

@@fishhunt9874 that’s a sweet build. Yea I’ve done mishomoto trans/intercooler/ radiator, hayden fan clutch, and have the external air to oil cooler, arp studs sitting in my garage. Waiting for some more cash to get the ported aluminum kdd heads, and ported odawgs S2R intake. What are your MPG’s?

So I spoke to Matt and told him what the manufacture rep had said to me that I should purchase from them because the.n they would build the turbo that day and ship the next day. I said. Personally I did t think that was right to say that about a distributer. Then I told the rep fro KC. That Blessed gave 3 free tunes and he said that is how they get one to buy from them. I told this to Matt again because I thought that wasn’t very nice to somewhat bag on them. The issue I had with blessed twice once with my mean green alternator and now my turbo is I asked it they had the turbo in stock and would ship from their facility he said yes. And that was wrong on both counts. The alternator came a week later so I didn’t get my vehicle back much longer than expected and this time when I got my invoice it said their were 2 separate items being shipped separately because they were being drop shipped and the third item no one seemed to know if it had indeed been deleted or was it going to be shipped or ? I could even tell if that price I had been charged was for all three items or 2 and no one called me back after calling them. So I called today come to find out no none of these products are in their warehouses they are all drop shipped from manufacture. I do not understand why people do not tell the truth when asked. When I asked about the three tunes no one told me one must have a specific device to actually load them that many mechanics may not have that specific brand . So in a nutshell tue tunes are worthless if you do not have the STP device. To me this is again not being specific and withholding truth that one needs that special device . If I had know that possibly I would of purchased it but that is t likely now.
