I recently learned that hemp hearts can be blended, like one would do with cashew etc, to add a healthy, creamy element to sauces.

Made this for dinner tonight. I was looking for a way to eat a bunch of veggies for dinner that wasn’t a salad. I’m not vegan so I put some thinly sliced leftover steak on top and it was delicious.
I added some toasted rice powder (from a Thai recipe) which added some extra crunch and “fried rice” flavor.
My husband gobbled up his portion and he is picky with vegetables. Didn’t even realize he was eating hemp hearts.

Looks very delicious and healthy. Will try tomorrow. Thanks again for sharing this recipe. The chilli sauce is a tricky one for me..
