Love all your practices, I am really learning to relax and not push myself - it feels a million times better both physically and emotionally. Thank you 💞💞💞😊
Hi and Good morning Kseny!Today was the first day I am able to rise up and stand on my toes without losing my balance. Every day I feel like I am getting a little bit stronger and more able to do the movements better! Thank you for sharing your practice with us and for the outdoors and the positive things you say and you are just wonderful!
Hi, thank you for sharing. Are you recovering from something or your balance haven't been great before? Daily practice can really make a difference and I'm very glad you feel stronger and more grounded on your feet. Keep up the good work! 🙏
This one really made me feel good. A lightbulb moment when you said to feel relaxed and not push myself, what a difference. I need to enjoy Qigong, not just think of it as an "exercise". Thanks so much! Hello from Alberta 🇨🇦

Really enjoyed this, thank you! Is there a special significance of the number six in qi gong?
Hi Lucy, glad you enjoyed it! Yes, based on Chinese astrology each element has its number. Number 6 Water element and the associated organ Kidneys. Our life force! I will be talking about it more in the winter wellness course.
This is wonderful! I love what you talked about with pushing oneself and/or being soft with oneself. I’m battling that now. I discovered last weekend while away that I have severe pain with hamstring on steps. I rarely use steps as I live in a flat area and there’s simply not many times I have encounters with them. While away I had an upstairs bedroom and every time I walked up them, if I hadn’t just warmed them with heat and/or vibration and a qigong routine, I couldn’t step up with my right leg. Bearing weight to push up was too painful. I was walking five or more miles daily, often on rolling hills with no problem. It was only the stairs. I didn’t know whether to push myself or be gentle with myself. I have a routine physical on December 9th so will be asking my doctor about it. It could be related to a spill I took on my bike maybe six weeks ago. Bike got away with me as I was stopping in a sandy hill and over I went. There was no huge sign of pain afterwards but I did tangle a bit with the bike. LoL. Anyway….I’m back home now and only one or two steps in and out of the house are no problem. But I’m still pondering what’s best to get this healed totally so I’ll be ready next time. I’m not asking you for medical advice, just wondering how to know when to push and when to be gentle. Ahhh life!!! LoL! As always, much gratitude for your offerings here!
Hi LaJuana, thank you for taking the time to write. I totally understand what you are saying. The relationship between Yin & Yang, hard and soft, push or rest. The practice of Qigong teaches us to find the balance and go the middle way. We also learn to understand and listen to the body so we can navigate back quicker to the 'middle' if we are off. The concept of 'no pain, no gain' is very Western, in the East it's more like ''if there is pain, there is no gain''. Pain means stagnation or energy not be able to flow smoothly. It's good that you are up for a check up, ask your doctor about the hamstrings. Keep well and thank you for being here!
I enjoyed this again this morning before going to the YMCA for Tai Chi. I love these warm ups first. Thank you ever so much for your reply and wisdom on the subject. I loved “if there is pain, there is no gain”. It reinforced my adapting during some Tai Chi movements this morning! Perfect timing! ❤❤❤
iv noticed since starting qigong am more shall we say [windy ] and more hungry , is that normal can anyone tell me
Great exercises! The stretches were especially helpful today. #qigongwithkseny
Thank you, Paz. Glad you enjoyed the exercises! See you on Sunday!
Can I do this while suffering from a painful back and sciatica?? Argh,,,!!!
Hi Susan, it depends how bad things are. you can chose to seated qigong or do a self-massage lower back, knees and feet. I have routines like that on my membership site. I hope you feel better soon.
