@@605BOLT hacking away at getting the work space set up…….slow painful process….. but we are making progress! Love seeing you vid keeps my mind on track
Thanks Ray! I have yet to get a bunch of miles on it yet because of it being broken when I bought it but I've been able to sample here and there and it seems like it will be fun. Glad you like the videos! How many miles on your SVT?
@@605BOLT I have 116k miles. I have a 3 door black 2003 EAP SVT FOCUS. I GOT IT FOR $1600 about 3 years ago. I did the entire suspension , new power steering pump with hose, steeds shifter, clutch, bushings, eibach pro springs, kyb adjustable shocks and struts, upper and lower control arms, 24mm front sway bar and 28 5mm rear sway bar( rear lower control arms are modified with a welded metal plate. New Ford water pump, all Ford timing belts, tensioner, pvc and hoses, and alternator. I was driving hard the other day...I was running an a3 turbo jetta..... not paying attention...I over reved 3rd gear( I believe past 7500...then I threw it on 4th gear...... I noticed the car felt way different right after that.... it starts up no problem and idles fine... you can hear the engine missing. It feels sluggish when you drive it. I have not driven it for a year. The other day I bought a new battery and it started right up. I pulled the plugs and there was oil in when the plugs are. The plugs had oil on them. I checked the engine oil..there is no mixture of coolant and engine oil...thank God. I hope it is only the valve cover gasket..... I did a compression test last year and Turbo Tom said those numbers I put out was common for that motor. I believe it is due to the vct on these motors. I also have something draining the battery..... the former owner of the car had her brother use it for a while and he wanted to change the bulbs.... so the fog lights do. NOt turn on..... good bulbs...somit could be from that. I have to take time and just work out the bugs.... I need to figure out the driving problem now
@@jessegravio7236 Much colder up there. No thanks! Thanks for commenting and following along. Hope you find a focus to build. They pop up every now and then.

@@bigray3360 wow. That's a lot of work. Just about everything on the car has been touched in some way. Done way more work on yours than I have!
@@605BOLT yeah.. wanted to get the suspension right...have a new clutch, etc. It's my current problem that is bothering me
@@bigray3360 ya that will be a little bit of work for sure. Especially if you have to do it all in jack stands with no lift.
