Tip for 3:43: if you hold Shift + Option when clicking the traffic lights it cycles their mode in the other direction, so from default it will turn them off.
Hire me Nick, lol. Budding C4D, trained Maya but making the move and dare I say loving C4D more. They both have their places but motion graphics ease is definately in the c4d arena. And finding out that it is waay more fexible in oither areas too...
sometimes Atom array with cel render is the no fuss way to get a wireframe render. All of this other stuff can cause the viewport to slow down with all of the extra geo you are adding into the scene.

This opens many, many doors in a nice chunk of mograph areas. Thank you very much! Always the seemingly simple, but most effective tips.

I love to see Aharon being the student after teaching us for so long
Keep these conversational YT vids coming!
Thanks, Ryan! Glad you are digging them.
The floor texture is really nice! Is that a plus material? Haven’t seen it.
Yes, it's from our Plus Library. It's called Black Plastic Aged. The aged plastics are some of my favorites.
WOW!!! Love this!!! I'll never use Atom Array again 😍
Many thanks
how would you do this with a non uniform object though? its easy with the platonic because all the edges are of a equal length...
This technique works with non uniform sides as well.
Ooo digging this. Love to see some more tricks

exactly for wiraframe still the best option available
Bold Move
Great ad hoc tutorial, guys -- thanks!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!
wow this is great i never would have thought of it, TY
Thanks!
“oh yeah baby”
:) Got me excited!
Could u use a vertex map, either with poly model or thru fields? That might give a little more variety.
Thanks man! You nice tuto!!
Glad it helped!
Yes! Thank you very much!
You're welcome!
2 years passed damn
Nice one
Thanks 🔥
I've got R19. Can I have a window that updates as I work? Thanks.
I think you are talking about the Redshift Window. I think you can use Redshift in R19.
That window is just Redshift's Render View.
@UC66Aryu1JoU-bqDcdurYK4g Many thanks for your answers.
Redshift or octane which is easier to learn
I think Octane is easier. But you are best off with Redshift as works great with C4D and also Houdini.
redshift is easier and better
ok but what happens when the edge distances are irregular? I guess we could mix Atom Array with the cloner
That scaling trick should still work with irregular edges.
crying
LMFAO good one
Thanks!
Tooooooo basic
