I’ve drained my battery as well as the screen is off but the camera itself isn’t. It would be nice if they made the camera go into standby/sleep mode if the screen is closed inwards. That should be on this camera as I found a similar setting on the A7R V.
I still find this annoying. I’m sure a simple firmware update might give us some sort of option to add that function.

Depends on what you want to shoot. A good all around lens would be the Sony 16-55 G f2.8 G lens.
