Harli girl you could never annoy me...you are so awesome I wish you were my daughter or one of my daughters friends so I could "adopt" you. Yes I am addicted to propagating too. I do have a bit more restraint than you do...haha! I like to propagate from trailing plant "hair cuts" and in the summer. Then in the fall I find myself offering plants to everyone I know. Thanks for the look at what you do. We are moving this week!!! So tired already...when we get some empty storage totes I am going to try it. Although water usually works well for me you just never know. Thanks again and Happy Growing!

Thank you for showing how it really goes!!! I watch some other UA-cam plant peeps and while I LOVE learning from them all, sometimes everything is so scripted and perfectly setup I’m left feeling like a complete hot mess express. This makes me feel not so alone 🤣 Kids can make planning and executing anything a feat of super human strength LOL! You rock!!!

Harli has changed my life with her prop box method. I'm obsessed and it's fool proof. I'm cutting everything and putting it in there. I open my box everyday for 1-2 hours. It really is an obsession. Thanks Harli! Google keeps spelling her name as garlic. Lol.

Hi Harli! This was fun. I like to propagate, but haven't tried your method yet. I'll try a small box and see how it goes. All of your plants look so good! I had a fairly big philo Brazil that wasn't looking good so I cut it all off and stuck the vines in water. I had it for over a year in water and just gave all of the starts to my daughter. She'll have a really nice full plant. I miss having it on my shelf in the kitchen though..... ;-) I'd rather share with her. Thank you so much for sharing!

Are there certain plants that don’t do well in sphagnum? I started making mini prop boxes using spinach boxes and take out containers. Also, have you grown plants in sphagnum before/ does it work?

Since I started my houseplant journey, all I do is cut and prop everything that comes my way. I absolutely love that. Three months later... I am running out of space but I can't help it... more cuts and props are on their way 😊. However, today, I was very well behaved. I bought cyclamen and dracaena white jewel but I did not take any cuttings... YET 🤣

My top wish list plant was a monstera deliciosa. Couldn't find them anywhere for literally 6 years. FINALLY found one today at home depot. They told me they only sell them for a week at the end of April where I live. I'm sooo happy I finally got one

Do you wait for your cuttings to callous over? I haven’t propped much in sphagnum, so I’m not sure if you have as many rot problems with a prop box like this.
personally I don't I find that since the moss is light and airy because it's only moist its able to dry out without issues. only issues I've had is with leaving a seedling mat on 24/7 and not airing out the box enough. too much humidity = rot
next halloween you should be edward scissorhands and make another propagation video hahaha
